In order to successfully develop a large complex system, it is important that the systems engineering processes take into account the program context and characteristics. Among these processes, the requirements management process requires a management plan based on the program plans and systems engineering management plan (SEMP) to the connection with the program management system and the policy directives. In this paper, a systems engineering based requirement management scheme and guidelines for writing requirements are proposed. is proposed.

A structural modelling for study on dynamic characteristics of tapered composite aircraft wings in the form of thin-walled beam is presented. The proposed structural model includes effects of transverse shear flexibility exhibited by the advanced composite materials and warping restraint characterizing elastic anisotropy and induced structural couplings. The complex effects of these factors could have a role in more efficient analysis on those structural models.
소형 무인기 개발 사업에서 시스템엔지니어링 프로세스의 적용 사례

An application case of systems engineering (SE) processes for the small unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) development project, which was funded by the Korean government during June 2017 ~ August 2020, is briefly presented in this paper. From the beginning to the end of the project, SE processes had been applied and managed by simple and intuitive aspects for the small/medium business companies joined with insufficient experiences of SE. And the specific considerations of the processes were focused to the missions of disaster and public safety purposes required from the government, such as identification, patrol, fire, rescue, etc. As a result, the project applied by the tailored SE processes had been rated of a good and higher accomplishment on the final evaluation, and then the related several programs were prepared successively for the other opportunities.

본 논문은 Circumferentially Uniform Stiffness (CUS) 형상의 복합재료 얇은 벽 보로 모델링한 항공기 날개의 에일러론 역전 특성에 대해 해석적인 연구를 수행하였다. CUS 복합재료 날개의 에일러론 역전 특성을 연구하기 위해, 신장-비틀림 구조 연성, 날개의 가로세로비, 에일러론 대 날개의 시위비 및 길이비, 초기 받음각, Sweep 각 등을 고려하여야 한다. 얇은 벽 보의 항공기 날개에 대한 보다 더 효과적인 설계를 위해, 에일러론 역전 특성과 관련한 연구 결과는 매우 중요한 역할을 담당할 수 있을 것이다. This paper deals with an analytical study on the aileron reversal characteristics of anisotropic composite aircraft wings modelled as thin-walled beam and having extension-twist structural couplings caused by Circumferentially Uniform Stiffness (CUS) layup scheme. For a study on the aileron reversal of CUS composite wings, it is essential to consider the following effects such as extension-twist structural coupling, wing aspect ratio, and ratio of span-wise and chord-wise length of aileron to wing, initial angle of attack, and sweep angle, etc. The results on the aileron reversal could have a significant role in more efficient designs of thin-walled composite wing aircraft for which this aeroelastic instability is one of the most critical ones.

스마트무인기 기술개발사업단에서 개발 중인 틸트로터 스마트무인기의 드라이브장치 개발과 관련하여, 주요 구성부품의 설계와 해석을 중심으로 개발 결과를 기술한다. 스마트무인기의 로터 구동을 위한 드라이브장치는 매우 정밀한 고난이도의 시스템으로서 국내 개발 경험이 전혀 없는 기술 분야의 하나이다. 따라서 드라이브장치의 개발을 위해서 미국의 선진업체(EATI)와의 공동연구개발을 수행하였다. In this technical paper, summarization of developmental results for the tilt-rotor SUAV Drive System being developed in the Smart UAV Development Center is carried out in view of design and analysis for the major components. The Drive System driving for the Rotor System of the SUAV is composed of very precise and advanced equipments, and also the applied technologies for development of the system had not ever experienced in the Korea. Therefore the collaboration study with an advanced company (EATI) in the USA performed in order to develop the SUAV Drive System.

대한민국 정부는 재난 현장에서 운용 가능한 재난치안 임무용 멀티콥터 무인기 기체 및 운항에 필요한 통신 수단, 안전 운항 핵심 기술, 무인기 운용 및 관리 체계 개발로 국민 안전을 제고하기 위해, 2017년도에 다부처 사업으로 “국민안전 대응 무인항공기 융합시스템 구축 및 운용사업”을 착수하였다. 이 논문은 기획 연구 및 개념 연구 과정에서 다양한 임무 시나리오를 중심으로 수요 부처와 협의를 통해 식별한 개발 대상 무인기의 운용 개념을 제시한다. A program funded by the several organizations of Korea government, named as“Establishment and Operation of Integrated Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) System for Public Safety”, has launched in 2017, which is to develop multicopter UAVs in order to improve the public safety in various disaster and public safety environments through the development of the necessary platforms, communications, safety flight, and operation and management of the UAVs. The concept of operations of the UAVs based on the mission scenarios discussed with the associated government stakeholders in the feasibility and conceptual study phase are presented in this paper.

The Korea space launch vehicle-II (KSLV-II) program aims at developing a national launch vehicle system capable of launching 1.5 ton satellite into a sunsynchronous orbit. It is the succeeding program to the Naro launch vehicle program. The KSLV-II is a large-scale complex system which requires a systematic approach to all parts of the program. The KSLV-II program is currently developing a tailored systems engineering process for its need. It references practices and lessons learned from developing Naro launch vehicle. Standardized NASA processes and INCOSE processes were also referenced and compared during development of the process framework. This paper introduces the systems engineering processes developed for the KSLV-II program.
