한국에서 분리된 Streptococcus mutans의 분자 역학 및 특성

Objectives: We investigated the characteristics of Streptococcus mutans in the national culture collection from Korea. Twenty-nine (dental plaque, n=27; endodontic infections, n=1; blood, n=1) isolates were included in this study. Methods: Antimicrobial susceptibilities were tested using the disk diffusion test. Multilocus sequence typing (MLST), serotyping, and collagen-binding genes were used for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and direct sequencing. A collagen-binding (to assess the adhesion properties) assay was performed. S. mutans demonstrated high susceptibility to antimicrobial agents. Differences in collagen-binding abilities of the cnm-positive and -negative groups were compared using the Mann-Whitney U test (P<0.05). Results: MLST analyses revealed 25 sequence types (STs), 17 of which (ST213-ST229) contained new alleles. The strains were classified into four serotypes with the c type encompassing 79.3% of all strains, while the e , f , and k types representing 6.9% each. Analysis of the cnm and cbm genes, which encode the two surface adhesin components of S. mutans , revealed three cnm -positive strains, each displaying greater adhesion ability than those of the cnm -negative strains. Conclusions: This study highlights the presence of a wide variety of S. mutans genotypes in Korea. These findings may provide useful information regarding the pathogenesis of infectious diseases, such as dental caries.

체육지도자 자격 제도 개편에 따른 장애인스포츠지도사 양성 가능성 탐색

본 연구는 2015년부터 시행될 ‘장애인스포츠지도사’양성 자격제도에 대비하여 현재 특수체육관련 학과의 교과과정을 기반으로 장애인스포츠지도사 양성을 위한 가능성을 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 전국 8개 특수체육교육과와 2개의 특수체육학과(부) 등 총 10개 특수체육 관련학과의 교과과정을 분석하였고, 2013년 장애인스포츠지도사양성 공청회자료집에 제시된 법정이수과목과 2013년 교원자격검정실무편람에 제시된 체육 분야 기본이수과목을 비교하였다. 또한 일반체육학과에 개설된 특수체육 관련 수업을 찾기 위하여 전국 262개 전문대학 체육계열 학과와 439개 대학교 체육계열 학과 등 총 701개의 체육 계열 학과 중 지역별, 학교별(2·4년제)로 임의표집한 17개대학교의 교과과정을 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 그 동안 특수학교 체육교사 양성에 관심을 가졌던 특수체육교육과의 교수 및 학생들이 장애인 전문·생활체육 분야의 지도자로 진출할 수 있도록 교육과정이 개선되어야 한다. 이를 위하여 학과별 교과과정 개편을 위한 협의, 장애인스포츠 현장 관련 실기 교과 및 현장 지도 강화, 장애인체육행정조직 등의 외부 단체와의 연계 등이 필요하다. The purpose of this study was to ascertain the capability on training the disability sports instructors based on curriculum of the department of special physical education in nation to prepare for training the disability sports instructors enforcing in 2015. For the completing of this purpose, curriculums from 10 departments of special physical education in nation and 2 departments of kinesiology including a special physical activity program have been analyzed and compared to subjects of completion in documents on a public hearing regarding disability sports instructor. Findings showed that professors and students in the university focusing on the training to be a special physical education teacher should extend the range of students` job recruiting for the students to develop the elite sports for the disabled and sports for all. Therefore, the curriculum model in the department of the special physical education in universities should be mended. Findings also showed that there were several improvement suggestions including the discussion for amendment of curriculum in the department, intensifying of activity classes and teaching in the field of disability sports, and improving the connection to the outside groups such as the administrative organizations for disability sports in nation.
