        Parents play a very important role in propagating and utilizing of the traditional games for children, because the maximization of educational effect can be achieved when the traditional games are utilized in connection of infant education systems and homes. This study aimed at an inquiring of the parents' cognition and application about the Traditional Games for Children for the education connected with infant education systems and homes. This study was conducted by questionnaire which was answered by parents. The question papers were analyzed through SPSS 10.0 for Windows. The results of this research are as below. Af first, the results of the research about the parents' cognition and application about the Traditional Games for Children are as below. First, concerning the degree of interests and acknowledgements about the Traditional Games for Children, Parents regard the concept of the Traditional Games for Children as games which were passed on from ancient times and almost of them have interests of the Traditional Games for Children. Second, concerning the interests of the Traditional Games for Children in infant education systems, parents understand that traditional tales are most directed but the experiences of cultural remains are lacked. Third, most parents admit the necessity of the Traditional Games for Children because they think the Traditional Games for Children include our own traditional consciousness It indicates that parents are very interested in our own traditions. Fourth, concerning the interests of participating programs related with the Traditional Games for Children, 70% of answers admitted the necessity of them, and 60% of answers had experiences of participation programs. It means that infant education systems must give parents many chances of participating in the Traditional Games for Children and learning them. Secondly, the results of the research about the parents' application about the Traditional Games for Children are as below. First, concerning the kinds of the Traditional Games for Children which parents experience, Towel Turning Game(84.4%) is the highest, and Site Taking Game and Rubber Line Game are also high. They are the games which are enjoyed much today. Secondly, the kinds of the Traditional Games for Children which parents apply with their children, Hide-and-Seek is the highest in 72tradition games and the games answered above 50% are only 10 kinds. The interests of parents about the Traditional Games for Children are very high. Furthermore they not only think them very positively but also have very active intention of practical use of them. Therefore, the necessities of activating the Traditional Games for Children are verified through my research. Finally, 1 suggest that some programs connecting infant education systems and homes must be studied along with the parents' active interests and intention of practical use of the aditional Games for Children.
