긴장재 배치에 따른 PT슬래브공법의 효율성에 관한 연구

The post-tension (PT) method is generally regarded as a good alternative to solve out the excessive deflection problem in reinforced concrete (RC) structures. Despite this good advantage, however, the application of PT method has been very limited in domestic market due to the unfavorable circumstances such as cost increase, technical problems, and lack of experiences in domestic construction. For the expansion of application of PT method in domestic market, therefore in this research, the influences of structural members and tendon directions on the effective prestress were analyzed, and the efficiency of deflection control by various tendon layout was evaluated. Also, the best layouts of tendons for a construction project was derived and the economic efficiency of PT method was evaluated considering the cost of marterials and construction. In this study, it is confirmed that PT method is very efficient for reducing both deflection and member size. The results of this study also indicated that the partial PT method with top anchorage can be very useful for deflection control, with reasonably small cost increase, in the part of span where large deflection is anticipated.

Current codes of practice have specified the minimum and maximum shear reinforcement ratio to prevent the brittle shear failure of reinforced concrete members. These limits on shear reinforcement, however, are significantly different, and cannot consider the effect of longitudinal reinforcement ratio and shear span ratio on the shear reinforcement limits. Thus, this study proposed the minimum and maximum shear reinforcement ratio considering these influencing factors, and compared to test data from previous studies and other approaches. The analysis results imply that the proposed limits on shear reinforcement are very rational and proper for reinforced concrete members having various concrete compressive strengths and longitudinal reinforcement ratios.
Bacillus sp. snu-7에 의한 Inulin Fructotransferase의 생산

A bacterial strain, producing extracellular inulin fructotransferase which converts inulin into di-D-fructofuranose 1,2':2,3' dianhydride(DFA III), was isolated from soil and presumed as Bacillus sp.. The highest production of the enzyme was obtained by using medium containing Jerusalem artichoke extract as carbon source, peptone as organic nitrogen source, and $NH_4H_2PO_4$, as inorganic source. Under optimum condition, the enzyme activity of the culture broth supernatant reached maximal 2.61 units/ml after cultivation for 45 hrs. Inulin을 가수분해하여 di-D-fructofuranose dianhydride(DFA)를 생성하는 inulin frucroransferase를 분비하는 균주를 토양으로부터 분리하였으며, Bacillus sp로 동정하였다. 본 효소에 의하여 생성되는 DFA는 TLC 와 HPLC로 분석한 결과, fructose 두 분자가 ${\beta}\;1,2':{\alpha}2,3'$ 결합을 한 DFA III로 동정되었다. 본 균주는 탄소원으로 1.5% 돼지감자즙, 유기 질소원으로 1.0% peptone, 무기 질소원으로 $0.27%\;NH_4H_2PO_4$를 사용했을 떼 효소 생산이 2.709 units/ml로 최대였으며, inulin을 탄소원으로 사용할 경우는 1.0% yeast extract, $0.2%\;NaNO_3$를 첨가했을 때 효소 생산이 2.245units/ml로 최대를 나타내었다. 본 균주를 최적 액체 배지에서 72시간 배양한 결과 배양 45시간에 2.61 units/ml 최대 활성을 보였다.
한국인 결절홍반, 경화홍반 환자들의 IGRA 양성률 조사

Background: Erythema nodosum (EN) and erythema induratum (EI) are similar inflammatory diseases of the lower extremities. Several factors (infections, drug hypersensitivity, inflammatory diseases, etc.) have been suggested as the cause of these diseases. Among them is Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) infection. However, there is still a lack of evidence supporting this finding. Objective: This study aimed to confirm whether Korean patients with EN/EI will exhibit positive interferon-gamma release assay (IGRA) results and determine the association of these disease with tuberculosis. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the clinical characteristics and IGRA test results of 62 patients (46 with EN and 16 with EI). Results: A total of 22 of 44 EN patients (50%) had positive IGRA test results, except for two with “undetermined” results, and 12 of 16 EI patients (75%) had positive test results. This result was higher than that of the control group (15.5%, 292/1887) and showed a statistically significant difference (each p=0.000). Moreover, the proportion of EI patients with positive test results was higher than that of patients with severe psoriasis (35.6%, 112/315; p=0.001). Among EN/EI patients with positive IGRA test results, those treated with antituberculosis therapy (HREZ) showed good response rate. The response rate was 85.7% (6/7) for patients with EN and 90% (9/10) for those with EI. Conclusion: High IGRA positivity was found in Korean EN/EI patients. This finding suggests a significant association between these diseases and tuberculosis. (Korean J Dermatol 2020;58(1):14∼19)
