Paulo Freire emphasized the importance of developing as an independent learner by taking critical views through literacy class participation which may help enhance an individual’s thinking and action process. The purpose of this study is to suggest a new direction in literacy class that develops an individual learner’s self-reflective and independent thinking ability by reconstructing the contents of the literacy class which takes Freire’s perspectives on literacy education into account. The findings will serve as the first step in addressing the limitations of accredited literacy education, which tends to focus on functional education. In addition, this study provides a foundation that help literacy education learners develop independent and critical skills.

미취업 노인의 건강 개선 교육 프로그램의 개발 방향 탐색

본 논문은 취업이 노인의 건강상태에 긍정적인 영향력을 미치고 있다는데 착안하여, 건강상의 이유로 취업하지 못한 대다수의 노인에게 취업자와 동등한 건강 상태를 유지할 수 있게 하는 건강 개선 교육 프로그램을 제안하고자 하는 목적을 가지고 시행되었다. 따라서 취업한 노인의 건강상태를 미취업자 노인과 비교해보고 이를 바탕으로 미취업자에게 시행되어야 할 교육 프로그램의 내용을 설정하여, 향후 건강에 관련한 평생교육 프로그램이 지향해야 할 방향을 제시하고자 하였다. 분석결과, 영양 상태와 일상생활 수행능력의 차원에서 취업자가 더 긍정적인 건강 상태를 보였으며 인지력 (지남력, 주위집중, 일상인지)과 삶의 만족도 부분에서 취업자가 더 활성화 되어있는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 안전교육과 건강습관 개선교육, 인지활성화를 통한 수행능력 개선 교육, 사회적 교류 제공을 통하여 미취업자 노인의 건강상태를 발전시키고자 하였으며, 여가적 차원에 머물러 있는 노인 평생교육프로그램의 전문성을 확보하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 제안하고 있는 프로그램은 미취업 노인들이 성공적 노화의 핵심인 취업과 동등한 효과를 얻을 수 있도록, 교육을 통하여 다양한 사회적 상호작용의 기회 등을 제공받아 건강을 유지하게 함으로 노인들의 삶의 질을 큰 폭으로 개선할 수 있을 것이며, 더 나아가 추후에 노인들의 사회적인 역할을 넓힐 수 있는 밑바탕을 제공해줄 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study is to propose a health improvement education program for the majority of elderly people who could not work due to health issues. This study focused on the fact that employment has a positive influence on the health outcomes of the elderly. The paper compares the health outcomes of employed elderly versus that of the unemployed, and suggests directions for future lifelong education programs related to health for the unemployed elders. The study results show more positive health outcomes for employed elders in terms of nutrition status and ability to perform daily tasks. Furthermore, their cognitive ability was more active (orientation, peripheral concentration, awareness of daily life) and their overall quality of life. Therefore, the study aims to develop health outcomes in the unemployed elderly population through safety education, improving health habits, performance improvement education via cognitive activation and socializing, and to secure the professionalism of lifelong education programs for the elderly which is currently only seen as a leisure activity. The object of the proposed program in this study is to maintain health by providing opportunities employment - a core component of successful aging - and relevant social interaction. This will greatly improve the quality of life of the elderly and provide a basis for widening the social role of elderly people in the future.

공공기관 해양공간정보 서비스 기반 데이터 처리 시스템 구축 가능성 연구

웹 기술이 발전함에 따라 정부에서는 열린 정부 정책인 정부 3.0 의 일환으로 각 공공기관에서 취득한 데이터를 공개하여 민간인들이 이를 활용할 수 있도록 하였다. 이러한 데이터는 정형화되지 않은 원시 데이터이기에 사용 목적에 맞게 가공이 필요한데, 본 연구에서는 공공 데이터 중 해양 공간정보 관련 데이터를 가공하는 처리 시스템 구축에 대한 타당성을 분석하고, 향후에 보완 및 추가적으로 연구해야 할 점들을 기술하였다. 분석을 위해 해양공간정보를 기반으로 하는 서비스 중 한 사례로 해양 민감 자원 표출 시스템을 적용하였다. As web technology improves, Korean government decided to open government data into public so that people can use the government data for various purposes. To use those open data, those data must be refined to meet the system’s own purpose. This paper presents a feasibility study of developing data preprocessing system of marine geospatial open government data and presents the future studies in conclusion. To analyze our approach, we applied the marine environmental sensitive data viewer system as a case study.
