Nylon resin reinforced with glass fiber or carbon fiber (which were surface-treated with silane as coupling agents to improve adhesion with polymer) was made according to weight percentage of glass or carbon fiber from 10 to 50 or 10 to 40 respectively. And the fiber reinforced composites were molded into three kinds of specimen for the purpose of the measurement of mechanical properties. The items of the measured properties were melt index, impact strength, flexural strength, hardness, tensile strength, elongation and heat deflection temperatures. The comparison of the mechanical properties of glass fiber reinforced composites with carbon fiber reforced ones was performed in order to clarify the differences between their respective mechanical properties. As the viscosity of the nylon and the amount of fiber increased, melt index decreased. In the most of the mechanical properties, carbon fiber-reinforced composites revealed better results than glass fiber-reinforced ones except melt index.
電動機 軸에 適用할 回轉式 HEAT-PIPE의 傳熱特性에 관한 實驗的 硏究
권중록,이종원 慶熙大學校 1995 論文集 Vol.24 No.-
The rotating heat pipe is a device which utilises a two-phase cycle of fluid. Rotating about the longitudial axis generates a cetrifugal force field and a component of this acting along the tapered wall pumps the condensate back to the evaporator. In this study, using the theory of rotating heat pipe, temperature discrepancy temperature distribution and heat transfer magnitude was simulated with the variety of revolution and working fluid. One proper rotating heat pipe was made to ascertain the truth of the theory. The comparision between the simulation results and experimental results is performed to verify the validity of the analysis on simulation program. Further work should be performed to improve upon the heat transfer characteristics of these devices, including a study of dropwise condensation and influence of noncondensible gases during rotating heat-pipe operation.
Country Images on South Korea from Foreign Workers’ Perspective : In an Exploratory Level
권중록 동북아관광학회 2020 동북아관광연구 Vol.16 No.3
The purpose of this study is to reveal how the images of South Korea have been composed from the foreign workers residing in South Korea. For the independent variables, seven country image variables have been chosen: economic conditions, conflict, political structure, vocational training, work culture, environment, and labor. Three dependent variables as macro country images were adopted: people, government, and country in general, with another three endogenous variables as micro country images were selected: entrepreneurs, products, and culture. LISREL (Linear structural relations) has been employed to reveal the relationships between all the variables. The results were as followed: the endogenous variables, "country in general" have been affected by the exogenous variables of "economic conditions", and "environment". The "culture" has been affected by "conflict", and "work culture". However, the variable "environment", has shown a negative relationship with the variable of "country in general". These relationships revealed in the study implicitly and/or explicitly show that the foreign workers residing in Korea, view Korea in the level of "image myopia" resulting from their cultural adaptation stress.
