최근 급격히 변화하는 경영환경 속에서 고객만족이 더욱 중요해지고 있다. 또한 미래의 기업간 경쟁은 조직간 경쟁이 아니라 공급체인 간의 경쟁이 될 것이다. 그 결과 공급체인관리(SCM)는 경영활동에서 주요한 전략과 이슈로 인식되고 있다. 본 논문에서 공급체인관리와 관련된 개념과 기법 및 SCM 발전단계에 대해 기술하고자 한다. 기존의 SCM 선행연구들은 이론적 연구, 수리적 연구와 사례연구 및 실증적 연구로 분류될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 다양한 선행연구들을 검토해 보고 이를 분석하고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 SCM 선행연구들의 성공요인변수들을 토대로 국내기업이 SCM을 도입하여 효율적인 성과를 얻도록 주요 성공요인 변수들을 제시하고자 한다. 본 연구의 결과 SCM의 도입 성공에 영향을 미치는 대표적인 요인은 기존의 다른 IT관련 논문에서처럼 최고경영자의 지원과 조직간 정보기술의 활용이 주요 성공요인 변수라 할 수 있다. Recently, the customer satisfaction is getting more important resulting from rapidly changing business environment. Also the competition of the future will not be organization to organization, but rather supply chain to supply chain. As the result, supply chain management(SCM) has become recognized as a major strategy and issue in the business activities. In this paper, some basic concepts and tools related to supply chain management are described, as well as the general history and definitions of SCM. Researches on SCM are categorized into review study, mathematical study, case study and empirical study. And various other researches are discussed in this paper. This paper introduce the success factor of supply chain management in Korean companies with those of other existing study of SCM. The result of the study indicate that the support of top management and the activities of information will positively impact supply chain performance. The support of top management is very important determinant as well as study of IT. Supply chains that use ERP, EDI and INTERNET to share information will achieve higher levels of performance when integrating the supply chain.
