환경지각적 특성을 고려한 가로환경 평가에 관한 연구 : 국제금융거리 가로환경을 중심으로

도시의 공공 공간은 인간과 인위적 환경의 상호작용으로 생기는 환경의 한 단위이다. 특히, 가로는 사람과 물자의 이동이 이루어지고 건물과 사람, 사람과 사람의 정보와 의사가 교환되는 곳이며 사람의 활동, 지각, 의미, 기억 등을 담아내는 도시의 중요한 공공공간이다. 그러나 이러한 도시공간은 과거 성장위주의 도시화에 밀려 기능적, 마적 가치를 인정받지 못하고 있었다. 그러나 최근 환경에 대한 인식이 새로워지면서 가로공간의 디자인 역시 재조명 되고 있다 최근 서울시에서도 ``디자인 서울`` 거리 조성에 심혈을 기울이고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 디자인 서울 거리조성 사업의 결과로 새롭게 설치된 각종 도로시설물에 대한 실효성을 조사하고자 한다. 연구를 위하여 우선 가로가 갖는 의미를 고찰하고 가로에서의 환경지각에 관하여 연구하여 환경지각적 측면을 바탕으로 가로환경을 평가할 수 있는 도구를 마련한다. 다음으로 디자인에 적용된 요소들이 가로환경 개선에 어떤 영향을 미쳤는지를 판단하기 위하여 ``디자인 서울거리`` 2차 사업 대상지였던 여의나루길을 대상으로 사용자 설문조사를 실시한다. 그 결과 새롭게 조성된 ``국제금융거리``는 사람들에게 정보를 전달하여 목적지로 쉽게 이동할 수 있도록 하는 정보전달 기능은 약하였으나 해당 거리를 이전보다 쾌적하게 느끼도록 하였다. 본 연구는 기존 가로특성에 대한 판단은 물론 나아가 새로운 가로 조성 사업에 대해 사용자 만족도를 높이기 위한 사전조사 도구로 사용될 수 있다. A public space is one of environmental units made by interaction between human and human-made environment. In particular, a street is the most important public and living space where people and goods pass, information and communication are interchanged, and human perception, memory, and activity exist Despite this importance of a street, its aesthetic value has not been recognized while pushed back of the past urbanization aiming at economic growth. However, with new awareness of environments and public spaces, a design for the urban street is being reinterpreted and the Seoul Metropolis government devotes itself to build the ``Design Seoul Street``. This study examined effectiveness of the street furniture newly installed as one of projects of ``Design Seoul Street``. At first, precedent study has been conducted focusing on the meaning of the street and the environmental perception on the street. Based on this precedent study, the assessment model for street environment has been developed. For the next step, the survey has been conducted targeting pedestrian passing through Yeouinaru street the selected street for Design Send Project Ⅱ. the survey focused on amenities and the street furniture in Yeouinaru street. As a result of the survey, it became to be dear that ``The International Finance Street`` is not very effective at providing information of destination but fresher than before. This study would be utilized for assessing previous design Seoul street projects, furthermore, would be used for coning street renovation project to improve users` satisfaction.
