문자인식 즉 OCR(Optical Character Recognition)기술은 광학적으로 인식할 수 있는 문자를 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있도록 하는 기술을 뜻한다. 문자인식의 근간이 되는 방법은 스트링 매칭 기법이 사용되어 왔지만 한글의 경우 자음, 모음, 자음 조합으로 만 가지 유형이 넘고, 더욱이 상용한자와 영어를 섞어 쓰기 때문에 오인식되는 경우가 많다. 본 논문에서는 한글이 수직선, 수평선, 사선과 같이 방향성이 강한 선소들로 구성되어 있다는 점을 이용하여 한글의 인식률을 높이는 방법을 제안하였다.

상악 견치의 매복은 소아치과 의사가 흔히 접할 수 있는 맹출장애이며, 이를 방치하였을 경우 인접치의 치근 흡수, 낭종 형 성 등의 임상적인 문제점을 유발할 수 있다. 이에 대한 치료는 간단한 유치 발치에서부터 매복치아의 교정적 견인, 외과적 자 가이식 등 다양한 방법을 고려할 수 있다. 이 중 자가 이식은 매복치아가 교정적 견인술을 시행하기 어려운 위치에 존재하거나 재위치 시키는데 실패했을 경우에 매 복치아의 발거에 앞서 고려할 수 있으며, 그 예후는 치근의 완성도, 환자연령, 외과적 술식, 근관치료 시기, 치아고정 기간 등 에 의해 결정된다. 본 두 증례들은 혼합치열기 말기에 상악 견치가 매복된 환자에서 그 매복 위치가 자발적인 맹출 유도나 교정적 견인 및 배 열이 어렵다고 판단된 경우이며, 자가 이식 후 근관치료와 교정 치료를 시행하고 현재까지 성공적으로 유지되고 있어 보고하는 바이다. Maxillary canine impaction is a common eruption problem in children. Impaction frequently involves further complications such as root resorption of adjacent teeth, cyst formation and migration of the neighboring teeth, etc. Various treatment modalities include extraction of preceding deciduous canine, orthodontic traction, and surgical extraction followed by immediate replantation of the extracted tooth at the proper position(autotransplantation). Autotransplantation is considered as the treatment of choice when surgical exposure and subsequent orthodontic traction are difficult or impossible due to unfavorable impacted position. The prognosis of autotransplantation is affected by the degree of apex formation, surgical procedures performed, timing of root canal treatment, and length of stabilization period. In these two cases presented, the patients with unerupted maxillary canine were treated with autotransplantation. One case was thought that guidance of eruption by orthodontic traction was difficult because of its unfavorable impacted position. In the other case, parents didn’t agree to treat by orthodontic traction, therefore autotransplantation was done. In both cases, autotransplantation was carried out following root canal treatment and orthodontic treatment, and both cases have demonstrated to be successful to this day.
