This report is the result of cellular phone market research in China, which is the biggest potential market for cellular phones in the world. The purpose of this 。∞world Best Strategy。± is to promote Samsung Electronics’cellular phones that were presently ranked in the third place in the world market and make them number one by the year 2010. As a part of the TCD, the project was intended to balance the of new product development and package design. One aspect of the research was to analyze trends, and additionally, develop and action plan based on the trend research and divide it into three essential concepts. These three aspects were further subdivided into nine segments, and on the basis of design value innovation, nine plans were suggested. (The scope of this report was limited to the 9 segments in order to protect the proprietary operation fo Samsung Electronic). The three concepts are listed below: 1) High End products: High quality brand 2) Fashion products: Fashionable brand 3) Business/technical products: Business type technical/cyber brand These plans were geared to promote the production and sales of highly profitable products. In order to achieve the objection, the planes were designed to apply the TCD to not only advertisement, promotion and product image but also packaging to create synergetic effects. Also, through analyzing new ideas that came out of this project and by systematically applying them in the creation of products, it will produce differentiated, improved designs. The product marketing should be done at the local level of promotion and this goal will be made possible by using, expanding and managing the brands for Chinese market. By using a continuation of such methods, know how, building infrastructure, and obtaining the necessary materials and information, we could then firm up our position in Chinese market as a leader.
염용액으로부터 제조된 Cu/TiO<sub>2</sub>복합분말의 광촉매 특성

In the present study, $TiO_2$ imbedded copper matrix powders have been successfully prepared from the ($CuSO_4+TiO_2+Zn$) composite salt solution. The composite $Cu/TiO_2$ powders were formed by drying the solution at $200{\sim}~400^{\circ}C$ in the hydrogen atmosphere. Photocatalytic characteristics was evaluated by detecting TOC (total organic carbon) amount with TOC analyzer (model 5000A Shimadzu Co). Phase analysis of $Cu/TiO_2$ composite powders was carried out by XRD, DSC and powder size was measured with TEM. The mean particle size of composite powders was about 100 nm and a few zinc and copper oxide phases was included. The reduction ratio of TOC amount was 60% by the composite $Cu/TiO_2$ powders under the UV irradiation for 8 hours.

In this study, the process and the environment of a melting furnace, located in Workplace A in Chungnam Province was inspected, and the insulation resistances of electrical circuits and motors were measured, and their changes over five years (2017–2021) were analyzed. It was found that the exhaust fan, oil pumps #A and #B, and heater were installed in 2010. Their insulation resistances decreased from 2017. Specifically, the insulation resistance of Oil Pump #A decreased from 100 (㏁) in 2018 to 20(㏁) in 2021, an 80% reduction. The fast decrease in insulation resistance was due to the high temperature of the melting furnace affecting surrounding the electrical facilities. A safety management scheme on the electrical facility of the melting furnace was proposed.

For the development of quaternary ammonium salt cephalosporin antibiotics with improved antimicrobial activities, a series of 7β-[(Z)-2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-(methox yimi no) acetamido]-3-[4-alkyl (or aryl)-3- thiosemicarbazid-1- nicotinonium] methyl -3- cephem -4- carboxylate were synthesized. Antimicrobial activities of these new compounds were examined against Gram(+) and Gram(-)bacteria. It was found that the moiety synthesized cephalosporin derivatives were good antibacterial activities against Escherichia coli. Almost these compounds were more antibacterial activities than cefazoline. These new compounds showed lower activity than cefotaxime against Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
