        남자고등학생들의 흡연 영향 요인 분석

        본 연구는 흡연에 영향을 미치는 요인과 그 영향력을 분석하고자 하였다. 연구결과를 토대로 다음과 같은 결론을 내릴 수 있다. 첫째, 남자고등학생들의 흡연율은 약 14% 정도로 10여년 전에 비하여 60~65%정도 감소되었으며 최초 흡연시기는 큰 차이가 없었다. 둘째, 인구학적 요인 중 학년, 용돈규모, 부모의 교육수준이, 가정환경요인 중 가족구성형태, 가족과의 친밀도, 부모 및 형제의 흡연유무, 가출경험이, 학교환경요인 중 학업성취도, 학교생활만족도, 교사와의 관계, 교사 흡연장면 목격정도, 금연교육효과, 교칙위반정도가, 또래집단 영향요인 중 친한 친구 수, 친한 친구 흡연, 친구와의 친밀도, 서클가입유무, 이성친구 유무, 동아리 활동 유형, 방과 후 활동유형 등이 흡연에 의미있는 변수로 나타났다. 이는 한 학생을 둘러싼 모든 요인들이 복합적으로 흡연행위에 작용하고 있음을 의미하고 있다. 셋째, 남고생들의 흡연지식과 태도는 5개 유형(담배의 유해성 인지, 흡연에 대한 유혹, 흡연의 습관성, 흡연통제선호, 잘못된 흡연지식)으로 세분되었다. 넷째, 흡연지식과 태도 유형들 및 모든 배경변수들(인구학적 요인, 가정환경, 학교생활, 또래집단, 흡연통제선호, 잘못된 흡연지식)의 흡연자와 비흡연자에 대한 구분력을 알아보기 위하여 logit분석 후 odds ratio로 살펴 본 결과 친구흡연, 흡연에 대한 호의적 태도, 서클가입, 가출, 아버지 흡연이 매우 큰 영향변수였고, 학년, 성적, 부모와의 상담정도도 영향 변수로 나타났다. 다섯째, 흡연자집단만을 대상으로 흡연영향변수와 영향력의 크기를 알아보기 위하여 회귀분석한 결과 어머니의 흡연이 가장 큰 영향력을 보였고 흡연의 습관성 인지 유형과 잘못된 흡연 지식 인지 유형이 비슷한 정도의 영향력을 나타냈다. The objective of this paper is to estimate the rates of smoking and other smoking behaviors among male high school students in Incheon area; and to examine the relationships of demographic, family, friends, school characteristics, and smoking knowledge and attitudes with their smoking behaviors. Data were collected from 1719 male high school students in Summer of 2004. Descriptive and multivariate statistical analyses(logistic & OLS regression, factor analysis) were performed to determine protective and risk factors in adolescent smoking. The main results are as follows; First, 48% of the male high school students in the sample ever smoked a cigarette and 14% of the sample was current smokers. Among ever-smokers, majority of them started smoking before high school. Second, principal component factor analysis generates 5 factors(smoking-health related knowledge, favorable attitudes smoking, smoking-addiction knowledge, restriction-prone attitudes toward smoking, incorrect knowledge about smoking and health), Third, logistic regression result showed that students having a father with higher education level and having a better school grade were protective against current smoking. Fourth, among those who were current smokers, health knowledge of smoking or favorable attitudes toward smoking did not significantly predict the number of daily cigarettes. although the directions were as expected. Having knowledge about addictive properties was associated with the increased number of daily cigarettes. Mother's current smoking was positively associated with the number of daily smoking.

        소비성향에 따른 화장품 소비자의 구매결정요인 분석

        본 연구는 화장품 소비자들의 소비성향을 규명하고 이에 따른 구매결정요인을 파악하고자 하였다. 조사 대상은 서울과 수도권에 거주하는 여성을 대상으로 표본 조사 하였다. 분석방법으로는, 소비성향에 대해서는 요인분석을 이용하였으며 구매결정요인을 알아보기 위해서는 t-test와 ANOVA로 분석한 후 DUNCAN의 사후검정을 하였고 수입 화장품 구매에 대한 변수들의 영향력 분석을 위하여는 logit 분석을 시행하고 odd ratio를 구하였다. 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 화장품 소비자의 소비성향은 5가지 성향(자원절약성향, 계획구매성향, 유행추구성향, 과시소비성향, 충동구매성향)으로 분류되었다. 둘째, 구매결정요인에서 의미 있는 인구통계학적 변수는 결혼여부, 연령, 직업, 1회 구입비용이었다. 소비성향에 따른 구매결정요인에 가장 큰 변별력을 보인 집단은 유행추구성향, 과시소비성향이었다. 국산 또는 수입화장품 사용 구매결정요인에서는 제품의 품질과 기능이 가장 중요한 것으로 나타났으며, 전반적으로 화장품 구매 시 수입화장품 사용 집단이 국산화장품 사용 집단에 비해 제품의 가격을 제외한 모든 구매결정요인에서 더 신중한 자세를 지니고 있음을 보였다. 셋째, 수입화장품 구매에 가장 큰 영향력을 보인 변수는 교육수준과 과시소비성향이었다. The objective of this paper is to find determinants of consumers" decision to purchase cosmetics by their consumption propensity. The data of the survey conducted in March, 2006 are collected from 303 female residents of Seoul and several metropolitan cities around Seoul. Descriptive and multivariate statistical analyses(ANOVA, factor analysis and logistic regression) were performed. The main results are as follows; First, principal component factor analysis generates 5 factors(resource saving, planned purchase, fashion consciousness, conspicuous consumption and impulsive buying) with consumption propensity. Second, marriage status, age, occupation and buying expenditure per once are significant determinant variables in cosmetics purchasing. Third, among consumption propensity groups fashion consciousness and conspicuous consumption groups are significant determinant variables. Fourth, logistic regression result showed that higher education level group(over college) and conspicuous consumption group are positively associated with purchasing imported cosmetics, especially over college group showed three times purchasing probability than lower education level group with odd ratio.

        노인들의 노동시장 참여형태와 동거유형이 건강수준 및 주관적 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향 연구

        older people face great disadvantages due to sudden illness or poor health and a lack of support from the younger generation. Furthermore, older women are suffering from a drastic deterioration of their economic status because of insufficient retirement savings. Examining the impact of labor force participation and living arrangement on health status and life satisfaction in later life, it is important to consider gender differences in context of social policies for the elderly. Using data based on a stratified national sample of the elderly by the Korean Longitudinal Study of Aging (KLoSA), multiple regression model were used to estimate the relationships between labor force participation and health status and subjective life satisfaction concerning the quality of their later life. The result indicates that good health status and high level of life satisfaction are associated with the type of paid work status for the elderly men, but those are associated with the type of non paid work, such as family businesses employees for the elderly women. Significant differences in chronic health condition and subjective life satisfaction by employment characteristics are found among the elderly. In addition, older women’s high level of life satisfaction was associated with the participation of the social activity. The major conclusion from these results should help us understand gender differences in the elderly and acknowledge further exploration of gender variations in these people’s later life.

        20~30대 인터넷 쇼핑몰 이용자의 강박적 구매성향과 인터넷 중독성향에 관한 연구

        Consumer researchers found that compulsive buying was a part of a category of compulsive consumption that was interrelated to addictive and repetitive behaviors. The present study empirically examined the co-morbidity of compulsive buying and Internet addiction among e-commerce users in terms of consumption disorders. Although the prevalence of Internet use and on-line sales remarkably increase in recent years, almost no study examines on-line compulsive buying behavior. This study explored the link between compulsive buying and Internet addiction among e-commerce users, and investigated the characteristics of on-line shoppers with respect to two forms of compulsive consumption, which were divided into compulsive buying and Internet addiction. Additionally, factors that related to compulsive buying behaviors among e-commerce users were also examined. The present research was conducted using a convenience sample of 394 young adults between the ages of 20-30, and the Faber and O`Guinn`s DSCB scale and the Widyanto`s Internet addiction scale (IA) were used. Confirmatory factor analyses were utilized to evaluate the structure of the DSCB and IA, and a Probit model was used to examine determinants for the compulsive buying behaviors of e-commerce users. E-commerce users were classified into four groups; high compulsion and high addiction, low compulsion and low addiction, high compulsion and low addiction, and low compulsion and high addiction. Consumers with high compulsion and high addiction spent higher amounts of money on their on-line purchases and were frequently connected with the Internet compared to the three other consumer groups. Consumers with compulsive buying behaviors were also found to have significantly greater Internet addiction tendencies than typical buyers. Compulsive buyers were more likely to engage in Internet addiction and the number of purchasing via on-line shopping mall, and had higher materialism. Policy implications and suggestions for consumer education programs were discussed.

        주부들의 생활양식유형에 따른 유기농산물 구매특성 분석

          본 연구에서는 서울과 수도권에 거주하는 유기농산물 구매경험이있는 주부들을 대상으로 생활양식 유형을 세분화 한 후 군집 분석하여 세분화된 유형별, 군집별 유기농산물 구매특성이 어떠한 차이를 보이는 지 알아보고자 하였으며 그 결과는 다음과 같다.<BR>  첫째, 유기농 구매주부들의 라이프스타일은 개성 및 유행추구형, 사회적가치 추구형, 전통적가치 추구형, 생활변화 추구형으로 세분되었으며 이를 다시 군집분석을 하여 구분하면 소비적 자기중심 생활형, 소극적 현실안주형, 서구적 실용추구형, 현실적 문화생활형 등 4개의 군집으로 구분되었다.<BR>  둘째, 각 군집별 인구 통계적 및 유기농산물 구매 특성은 다음과 같다.<BR>  소비적 자기중심형은 전체의 24.7%를 차지하며 30대 고학력, 중상위 소득자(300만원대)로서 유기농산물 구매 비중이 비교적 높았다<BR>  소극적 현실안주형은 전체의 31.9%로 40대, 교육수준이 높지 않으며 월평균 소득 200만원대의 전업주부 집단으로서 유기농산물 구매 비중이 상대적으로 적었다.<BR>  서구적실용추구형은 전체의 24.0%로 30, 40대와 월소득 300만원을 중심으로 연령, 교육수준, 소득수준 등이 골고루 분포되어 있는 집단으로서 유기농산물 구매 비중과 구입품목은 소극적 현실안주형과 유사한 집단이라 할 수 있다.<BR>  현실적 문화생활형은 전체의 19.4%로 40대, 교육수준이 아주 높지 않은 전업주부로서 월평균 약 300만원대의 소득수준을 유지하면서 유기농산물 구매 비중이 비교적 높았다.<BR>  셋째, 유기농산물 구매 패턴(다량구매, 소량구매)에 구분력을 보이는 변수들은 교육수준, 주부의 취업유무, 월소득, 라이프스타일 유형 중 생활변화 추구형 등의 순으로 나타났다. 이들 중 월 소득과 주부의 취업유무가 가장 큰 구분력을 보였다.   The goal of this study is to examine differences in patterns of purchase behavior of organically farmed produce among home makers in Seoul and its suburbs by their lifestyle characteristics. Cluster analysis was used to classify different lifestyles among home makers.<BR>  Our findings are as follows ;<BR>  1. Among home makers who purchased organically farmed produce, their lifestyles were characterized by pursuing: fashion/trend/popularism, social values and norms, traditional values and life changes. When they were classified into four groups, they were grouped as : (a) self-focused/consumption - oriented group, (b) passive/self-satisfied group, (c) active/western-or practical- value-oriented group, and (d) realistic life style group.<BR>  2. Characteristics of demographic profiles and purchasing behaviors of organically farmed produce were : (a) self-focused/consumption-oriented group (24.7%) was highly educated with middle-to-high income (~3 million won per month) in their 30s, and some of them were working for pay. They purchase a relatively high proportion of organically farmed produce. (b) passive/self-satisfied group (31.9%) was relatively low level of education with average monthly income about 2 million won. Most of them were full-time home makers. They purchased very little organically farmed produce. (c) active /western or practical-value-oriented group (24.0%) was mostly in their 30s and 40s. Their monthly income was about 3 million won. Their purchase behavior of organically farmed produce was similar to that of passive /selfsatisfied group. (d) realistic life style group (19.4%) was in their 40s with a relatively low level of education and their monthly income was about 3 million won. They purchased a relatively high proportion of organically farmed produce.<BR>  3. Factors that significantly influenced the level of organically farmed produce purchase were education, full-time home makers or not and income. Among life style characteristics, pursuing life changes was also associated with the level of organically farmed produce purchase. In particular, their monthly income and full-time home makers or not were strongly associated with purchasing organically farmed produce.
