복합지반에서의 쉴드 TBM 커터헤드의 회전속도에 따른 커터비트 손상에 관한 실험적 연구

본 논문은 복합지반에서 쉴드 TBM 커터헤드의 회전속도 제어에 관한 실험적 연구이다. 복합지반에서는 암반을 굴착하는 디스크커터와 더불어 커터비트의 절삭 성능이 매우 중요하다. 이 연구에서는 특히 풍화토와 풍화암으로 이루어진 복합지반의 커터비트의 성능평가에 초점을 두었다. 이 연구를 위하여 실험실용으로 개발된 쉴드 TBM 커터비트 평가 장비를 이용하여 실내시험을 실시하였다. 복합지반은 공학적 상사성을 고려하여 조성하였다. 조성된 복합지반에서 쉴드 TBM 커터헤드 회전속도를 2, 3, 4 rpm으로 적용하여 각 커터비트에 작용하는 절삭력을 측정하고 회전에 따른 절삭력의 변화를 분석하였다. 실험결과로 부터 커터비트에 작용하는 절삭력은 지반경계부에서 급상승하는 경향을 보여주었다. 또한 이러한 상승되는 절삭력의 크기는 쉴드 TBM 커터헤드의 회전속도가 클수록 크게 나타났다. 이러한 결과로부터 복합지반에서 쉴드 TBM 커터헤드의 회전속도를 빠르게 할 경우 커터비트에 가해지는 위험요소가 더 크다는 것을 보여주고 있다. 따라서 복합지반조건에 현장 TBM 굴착 시 회전속도의 제어가 필요한 것으로 나타났으며 감속시키는 것이 비트에 가해지는 리스크를 저감시킬 수 있을 것이다. This paper presents the cutter bit damage due to the rotation speed of shield TBM cutter head in the mixed ground. The efficient of cutter bits and disk cutter are very important for tunnelling in mixed ground. In particular, this research is focused on the performance of cutter bits during excavation in mixed ground which is consist of the weathered soil and rock formation. In order to carry out this research, the experimental works are prepared performed by using the scaled shield TBM cutter bits evaluation machine developed. The mixed ground is prepared considering with a scale effect of tunnel size. Three different rotation speeds of shield TBM cutter head (i.e. 2, 3, 4 rpm) are applied in the experimental work. The drag forces acting on the cutter bits are measured at each cutter bit during rotation of cutter head. It is also analysed the variation of drag forces due to the rotation speed of shield TBM cutter head. The results of this research are clearly shown that the drag forces acting on the cutter bits are jumped up at the boundary between weathered soil and rock. It is also indicated that the jamping drag forces are increased with increasing the rotation speed of the cutter head. It is found from the research that the higher rotation speed of shield TBM cutter head will be high risk in the mixed ground. It is, therefore, suggested that the use of lower rotation speed of shield TBM cutter head is recommended for reducing the cutter bit damage in practice.

역사소설은 신문사의 상업적 전략과 함께 발달해왔다. 따라서 역사소설에 대한 대중의 기대지평을 만족시키기 위한 서사전략이 기획단계부터 적용되었다. 그리고 여기에 추가하여 이병주는 역사성을 전달하고자 하는 작가의 기대지평을 드러내며 독특한 서사전략을 구사한다. 따라서 『바람과 구름과 비(碑)』에서 역사소설의 공식과 변주가 어떻게 이루어지고, 이병주만의 독특한 서사전략은 대중성과 어떤 접점을 이루고 있는지를 살펴보는 것이 본 연구의 목적이라 할 수 있다. 이 소설에서 대중들이 원하는 영웅 캐릭터가 등장하는데, 이는 토포스적 인물형상화에 해당한다. 토포스는 대중소설의 문학적 관습에 해당하며, 독자들이 익숙하고 편안하게 느끼는 전형적인 공식을 의미한다. 영웅들은 태생적 측면에서 비범함을 지니고 있어서 영웅의 전형성을 지니고 있다. 무협적 요소, 의적 모티프도 현실 세계의 어려움을 잊고자 하는 대중들의 지지를 받는 강력한 공식의 하나였다. 영웅의 무절제한 여성편력에 대한 묘사는 현실 세계에서 금기시되는 성에 대한 호기심을 채울 수 있는 소설적 공간을 제공함으로써 대중성을 확보했다. 남성중심적 성애묘사 역시 30년대 이후의 역사소설에서 흔히 볼 수 있는 일종의 공식이었다. 한편, 영웅형 인물이라는 도식성의 틀을 유지하면서도, 이 인물들에게 종래의 역사소설에서 볼 수 없는 개성있는 성격을 부여하고자 하는 공식의 변주도 나타난다. 소설 속 영웅형 인물들은 힘없는 백성을 보호하는 의로움을 지녔지만, 완벽하게 윤리적인 인간을 지향하는 인물들은 아니라는 점이 이런 맥락에서의 시도로 보인다. 이렇듯 이 소설의 대중성은 대중의 역사소설에 대한 기대지평을 만족시키는 토포스적 형상화에 있었다. 또한 역사소설의 공식이 허용하는 범위 안에서 인물에 개성을 부여하여 대중소설의 예술적 가능성을 시도하고자 하였다. 계몽성의 측면에서는 역사적 사실에 대한 기록과 비평이라는 사관적 서술전략을 적극 활용함으로써 대중들의 지적 욕망을 충족시켰다. 그러나 지나친 서술자의 개입은 루카치 식의 역사소설에 대한 비평적 기대를 충족시키지 못하는 한계를 지닌다. 또한 독자로 하여금 작가의 주관적 판단을 절대적 진리로 받아들이는 오류를 범하게 한다. 그리고 사실과 허구의 경계에 있어야 하는 역사 소설의 본질을 망각하게 하여 소설적 재미를 반감시킨다. 이러한 한계에도 불구하고 이병주는 조선 멸망의 원인을 독자에게 전달하고자 하는 기대지평을 갖고 계몽적 서사전략을 활용했다. 문학의 계몽성은 미학적 견지에서 부정적 요소를 함의한다. 그러나 대중의 입장에서 느끼는 적절한 계몽성은 오히려 독서에서 얻을 수 있는 지적 즐거움의 한 요소가 되기 때문에, 대중성 확보의 중요한 요소가 될 수 있다. 한시(漢詩), 가야금, 판소리, 시조창 등에 관한 묘사는 대중들로 하여금 상상적으로나마 문화적 즐거움을 향유토록 함으로써 대중성을 확보했다. 결과적으로 이병주 소설의 계몽성은 미학적 견지에서는 소설적 완성도를 저해하는 요소가 되었지만, 대중성의 측면에서는 대중들의 기대지평을 반영하는 작가의 서술전략의 일환이었다. Byeng-Ju Lee"s novels has both features of the popularity and the historicality. In our literary history, popularity have been understood as a vulgar cultural. So his novel"s popularity has also received negative evaluations. As popular literature started to be actively discussed recently, the popularity of literature began to be revaluated as the way of writer which communicates with readers in those days. In this regard, to expand the scope of the studies of his literature, which is one-sided in 『Jirisan』, I contemplated the popularity of 『The wind and cloud and tombstone』, the historical novel. In 1970s to 1980s, when 『The wind and cloud and tombstone』 was written, it was the era which critical expectation of historical novel in Lukács"s style - It has to be history and it also has to be meaningful fiction - and expectation of the public who want "fun and enlightening historical novel" were well-matched. I could confirmed he also tried such an attempt in this novel. First, in terms of amusingness, he created heroic characters. These heroes ensured the popularity because they had awaken familiar sentiment which has been felt in the classic novel. Moreover, the heroes in the novel fulfilled the desire that is unrealizable to the public through their activities, such as having an action, a chivalrous robber, unethical behavior, sexuality. In terms of enlightenment, it has fulfilled the intellectual desire of the public by using a narrative strategy like records and critique. This is positive because it plays a role of annotation that helps reader"s understading. However excessive intervention of the authorial narrator increases negative enlightenment. As a result, Byeng-Ju Lee"s novels has aesthetic limits of form and enlightenment. But on the part of the reader, it has familiarity and comfort. At this point, the popularity of Byeng-Ju Lee"s novels contains an undertone of positive meaning.
