본 연구는 19C 산업혁명 이후 대중사회에 중요한 미적 가치로 떠오른 키치의 특성을 블랙핑크의 메이크업 속에서 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 현대사회는 키치의 가장 본질적인 속성이라고 할 수 있는 ‘자기기만’의 해석이 게재된 모든 예술산물이 대중문화와 동일시되는 상황에 이르렀다(Moles, 1971/1995). 현재, 그 대중문화의 선두에는 한류가 있으며 한류의 중심에는 블랙핑크가 있다. 따라서 블랙 핑크의 메이크업에 나타난 키치 특성을 고찰하는 것은 현대 소비자의 욕구를 파악하는 데에 도움을 줄 것이다. 연구 방법으로는 문헌 연구를 통하여 키치의 특성을 분석하고, 이를 바탕으로 블랙핑크의 메이크업 중 키치 특성을 가진 사례를 고찰하였다. 본 연구는 키치의 대표적인 특성으로 유희성, 향수성, 관능성 세 가지로 분류하고 이에 따라, 블랙핑크의 메이크업들을 분석하였다. 블랙핑크의 메이크업 속에서 유희성은 고상하고 세련된 이미지보다는 사랑스럽고 귀여운 또는 소녀다우면서도 유치한 이미지를 나타낸다. 향수성은 히피나 보헤미안으로의 회귀, 또는 동양적인 선과 장식 및 컬러를 통한 민속적 이미지를 나타낸다. 마지막으로 관능성은 성의 양면적 가치표출인 혼돈과 에로티시즘의 형태로 나타난다. The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of kitsch, which emerged as an important aesthetic value in popular society after the industrial revolution of the 19th century, in Blackpink s make-up. Modern society has come to a point where all the art products in which the interpretation of self-deception , arguably Kitsch s most essential attribute, has been published have been equated with popular culture (Moles, 1971/1995). At present, at the forefront of its popular culture is the Korean Wave, and at the center of the Korean Wave is the Black Pink. Therefore, examining the kitsch characteristics in Blackpink s make-up will help to understand the needs of modern consumers. The purpose of this study was to examine the characteristics of kits, which emerged as an important aesthetic value of popular society after the industrial revolution of the 19th century, in Blackpink s make-up. This study is intended to examine research trends on the antimicrobial activity of natural extracts that have no adverse effects against dandruff bacteria and to provide basic data about the natural extracts that have antimicrobial effects. As a research method, the characteristics of kitsch were analyzed through literature study, and based on this, cases with kitsch characteristics among Blackpink s make-up were reviewed. In this study, the representative characteristics of kitsch were classified into three types: amusing feature, nostalgic feature, and sensuality feature, and Blackpink makeup was analyzed and classified accordingly. In Blackpink s make-up, the amusing feature represents a lovely and cute girlish and childish image rather than a noble and sophisticated image. The nostalgic feature represents a return to the hippie or bohemian, or a folk image through oriental lines, decorations and colors. Finally, the sensuality feature appears in the form of chaos and eroticism, which are two-sided values of sexuality.
