This study investigates the durability of the radiator and cooler of a laptop through a thermal analysis. In the result of this study, the maximum deformation happened at the part holding up the support stand at the radiator and cooler. The maximum thermal stress of the cooler was 60.939 ㎫, as low as that of the radiator. In addition, the safety factor of the cooler was 1.64 times as high as that of the radiator. The radiator of the laptop was less durable than the cooler. The result of this study could help with designing a laptop model with a durable radiator and cooler.
CES함수를 이용한 사립대학 부가가치세 조정세율 결정에 관한 연구

본 연구는 사립대학의 재정확충을 위한 방안의 하나로 CES함수를 이용하여, 사립대학의 부가가치세 감면에 대한 세율조정 모형을 개발하고 조정세율을 구하였으며, 조정세율을 활용하여 사립대학의 재정확충 효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 이를 위한 분석대상 세목으로는 2002학년도 우리나라 4년제 일반대학 137개교의 부가가치세를 사용하였다. 그리고 재정배분의 효율성을 측정하기 위한 지수로는 CES함수를 사용했으며, 재정지표로는 학생 1인당 장학금과 기자재구 입비 지표를 이용하였다. 이러한 원자료를 이용해서 모의실험을 통해 조정세율을 확인하였으며, 이때 도구로는 JAVA언어를 사용하였다. 실험결과 CES함수를 이용한 효율성의 측정가능성을 확인하였으며, 그리고 정부가 효율성 향상을 위해 부가가치세의 세율조정을 한다면 조정세율은 4.7%~5.0% 사이에서 결정하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 부가가치세 조정세율을 적용하여 세율감면이 이루어진다면 상당규모의 감면액을 사립대학에 환급하게 되고, 그 결과 실질적인 재정확충 효과는 물론 재정지표의 개선이 이루어지는 것으로 나타났다. This study developed a negotiable value added tax rate model for private university with the application of CES utility function as one of private university financial improving plans, and then produced Negotiable Value Added Tax Rate by using the negotiable value added tax rate model, and analyzed out the effect in private university finance improvement. The value-added taxes levied on 137 private universities in 2002 were employed as the analyzing data, And the applied index was CES utility function in order to measure the efficiency of finance distribution. Scholarships and teaching aids cost per student were chosen as the financial indexes. A mock experiment was carried out by using CES utility function with the terms of all the data mentioned above, and negotiable tax rate was produced in JAVA Program. The experiment carried out by CES utility function resulted in the possibility of measuring efficiency. The study tells us it might be desirable that the adjusted tax rate {or Negotiable Value-Added Tax Rate} range from 4.7% to 5.0%. And then the application of the Negotiable Tax Rate{Negotiable Value-Added Tax Rate} proved that quite a bit amount of tax return would be deducted from current taxation. And it confirmed that not only the fairly practical improvement of the private university finance but also its financial indexes might be realized.

This study aims at the structural analysis of vibration and fatigue according to the tie rod configuration. The maximum displacement amplitude is happened at 156Hz by harmonic vibration analysis, this tie rod model can be broken as the weakest state. Among the cases of nonuniform fatigue loads, "SAE bracket history" with the severest change of load becomes most unstable but "Sine wave" becomes most stable. In case of "Sine wave" with the average stress of 0MPa and the amplitude stress of 570MPa, the possibility of maximum damage becomes 70%. This stress state can be shown with 140 times more than the damage possibility of "SAE bracket history" or "SAE transmission". The structural result of this study can be effectively utilized with the design on tie rod by investigating prevention and durability against its damage.

In this study, 2 kinds of twist run models as exercise equipments are compared by durability analyses of fatigue and vibration. Maximum equivalent stresses are shown as 3.3 MPa and 16.6 MPa at the parts of stress concentrations at models 1 and 2. As the values becomes much lower than yield stress of this models, these models are shown to be safe designs. Model 1 becomes stronger than model 2 at natural frequency analysis. Fatigue lives become lowest at four axis parts and one axis part respectively in cases of models 1 and 2. Maximum damage probability at fatigue is shown to be 2.4% near the average stress of 0 in case of model 1 but this probability becomes 0.6 % in case of model 2. Model 1 has the maximum damage possibility 4 times more than model 2 at these states. As the result of this study is applied by the design of twist run, the prevention on fatigue damage and the durability are predicted.

In this study, the deformation and stress were analyzed by structural analysis based on modal and harmonic response at resonance on suspension part. The load case is applied with upper middle face, maximum equivalent tress or total displacement becomes 2 or 3 times respectably as much as the case of lower middle face. The six mode of natural frequencies was below 5,000 Hz. The maximum equivalent stress and total displacement at harmonic response of suspension were shown as 1.9542 x 10(11) Pa and 0.059868 m on 1,300 Hz. This frequency is nearly the same as that of the 1316.7 Hz. at Mode 2 of natural vibration. The comfortability of passenger can be effectively utilized at suspension part by use of this design model.
