이상의 논의를 요약하면 다음과같다. 1.상허가 1950.5~1951.5월간에 쓴 6편의 미발굴 작품을 소개,그 내용을 검토하였다. 2.이 작품들은 남한측의 잔학성을 고발하는 한편 이를 통해 그들의 적극적인 투쟁의지를 고취한 내용으로 일관되어 있는데 특히 동란기의 작품에는 반미적인 성향이 강하게 나타나고 있다. 3.이 반미적 성향은 북의 체제에 부응한 불가피성 이외에 내재적인 요인,즉 상허 자신이 평소 지니고 있었던 서양인에 대한 부정적인 견해가 상당부분 작용했을 것으로 믿어진다. 4.반미사상과 남한에 대한 적개심으로 일관된 이 소설들은 북에서 적극 수용되지 못하고 오히려 정치적 소용돌이에 휘말려 비판 숙청되는 인간적 비극을 초래하였다.

In order to investigate how most Korean students spell words correctly according to the rules of orthographical (or the Spelling System), I let 175 students dictate 50 words in some schools in Kyunggi Province in June, 1979. According to the test result, it turns out that 36% of 175 students made many mistakes in dictation test: 34% in the sixth year of the elementary school, 47% in the third grade of a middle school, 38% in the second grade of a boys' high school, 34% in the third grade of a girls' high school, 34% in the freshman of the technical college, 23% in the junior of University, 18% in a graduate student. This report tells us that the more we receive a good education the more correctly we can write Korean. And it reveals that the person who have been taught for ten years can write words to 60% correctly. I insist that we should develop the current spelling system more easily and conveniently; First, abbreviate a number of consonant morphemes Second, make a thorough revision of a morpheme easily and conveniently Third, the sound of a Chinese character, '偈ㆍ憩' should be represented and unified as '계(ghe)'.

This study reviewed the novel "Imkkokcchong" by Pwokch'o Hong Myong Hee, which was released during the period of Japanese occupation, from the linguistic point of view, since this novel has been considered as a novel of fluent Korean vocabulary. As a result, the findings are as follow. First, in this work, Imkkokcchong frequently used the word of revenge in order to symbolize the spirit of anti-Japanese thought through this novel and second, the writer Hong wrote this novel as a away to enlight the Korean readers' willing to their national independence.

It is true that Korean popular songs invigorate the daily life of the ordinary people those who survived throughout the tunnels of Korean adverse modern history. However, it is also true that Korean popular songs were not properly evaluated in terms of its social role and contribution to the lives of the Korean. Therefore this paper examined the linguistic characteristics shown on the song words of Korean popular songs as a way to retrospect regarding the social as well as linguistic value of this song genre. The followings were found as a result. First, many compounded words, habitual expressions, Chinese words and proverbs were frequently used as the song words. The usage of such words in the popular songs was different from that of the Korean modem poetry. Second, among the compounded words, the words which represent natural phenomena were distinctively used. Third, as for the words represent color, the words of primary colors were the major compared to those of the mixture colors. Last, it was distinctively shown that the words of optimistic or positive view rather than pessimistic or negative view were more frequently presented in the Korean popular songs.

After studying "A REAL ESTATE AGENT", a short story of Sanghoo from many other standpoints, I come to the conclusion as follows; (1) "A REAL ESTATE AGENT" was published in the "Chokwang"(朝光) magazine. Afterwards, when he made a book, "A CROW", he adapted "A REAL ESTATE AGENT" for the first time. Afterwards in a collection of The MODERN KOREAN SHORT STORIES, not an adapted content of "A CROW", but the content in the "CHOKWANG magazine was written based on the original sentence in the "CHOKWANG" magazine. Therefore a separate volume published after the event has very different marks, contents and situations. Thus, there are some problems in finding out the original text. (2) Under the Japanese cruel control, the middle class Koreans with different class, character and thought lost the spiritual and economic foundation which they must have in the mind and the work expressed the destroyed and bended society through "A REAL STATE AGENT". (3) Sanghoo used pure Korean words and peculiar Chinese characters and many dialects which came from his own life. There-fore there are some peculiar points in expression.
