      • 鋼部材 필렛鎔接 및 홈鎔接 連結部의 疲勞擧動에 關한 硏究

        . Fabrication by welding may result in stress concentration regions in the joints and it may be caused by weld imperfections or geomatrical discontinuities. Thus, fatigue strength of welded details was essential for fatigue design of bridge components. In this study, constant amplitude fatigue tests on load-carrying, nonload-carrying fillet welded specimen and transverse groove welded specimen were carried out, and fatigue strength was evaluated. the effects of curvature radius ρand tangential angle θof fillet welded toe were also investigated. From the result of this study, fatigue strength of nonload-carrying fillet welded specimen was higher than that of load-carrying specimen, and smoothing weld surface in the transverse groove welded specimen improved fatigue strength. The smaller ρand θ, the higher probability of fatigue crack occurance. Thus, the effect of weld toe shape was play a role in fatigue strength and fatigue crack initiation.

Then the fundamental data needed to trace the relationship between macroscopic and microscopic views and the data for fracture control of steel manufactured in domestic are represented.

        For resonable curriculum modification and development corresponding with training to competent high-level, engineering as educational object of industrial university this research was carried out as following process ; 1. Collection and analysis of present curriculum in civil engineering department of domestic industrial university including the curriculum of foreign industrial university. 2. Organization of advisory committee for insustry school cooperation and visiting insustry and interview. 3. Organization of all Korea Civil Engineering Department chief committe. 4. Result of research through the questionnaire for all Korea representative industry and academic could be summarized as follows : 1) Wide contact between college education and industry field should be strengthened, and field experiment education was strengthened to consider of ability, and construction management was edited compulsory major. 2) For the adapting trend of variety and subdivision of construction skill EDPS education was edited compulsory 3) The curriculum was endeavoured to fundamental science. 4) The curriculum enlarged the range of the optional subject which is able to manage the flexible curriculum for characterization of each local industrial university and endeavoured consideration of field adapting ability by classifing the civil design into Construction design and integration, Hydraulic design and integration, Earth design and integration. 5) The curriculum of academic theories and experiments were unificated into single subject for the purpose of flexible management 6) The curriculum was edited in the ration which is 20 to 80 between liberal and majoring arts in presentation on the basis of all accounts of opinion from the academic and field worker, and emphasized the importance of language education editing industrial English conversation because of demand of much ability along with foreign advance of construction technique. 7) The curriculum was emphasized in the necessity of the field experimental trained based on the information by all opinion. By operationg this curriculum, it is expected that the relationship between industry and academic will be efficiently considered.

      • 레일鋼의 샬피擧動 및 破壞靭性 評價

        Quantitative evalution of the fatigue and fracture in rail steel is made the basis for predicting fatigue life and making a decision of exchange interval. In this study, tharpy V-notch behavior and fracture toughness KIC were evaluated by using of the analysis data from tharpy V-notch Test. From the results of this study. It was shown that there is no any probability of ductile fracture, but quite probability of brittle and fatigue fracture. On the other hand, fracture toughness is decreased by increasing the service year and it is not consitent in evaluation of fracture toughness for the proposed equation by pre-researcher.

        As a long-span bridge we may discuss truss bridge, Arch bridge, suspension bridge and cable-stayed bridge. Among these bridges, suspension bridge are adopted as a longer-span bridge which has more than 400m span. By comparing these two styles of bridges each other, I hereby have comparatively discussed the superior aspects of cable-stayed to those of suspension bridge in view of its stiffness and stiffness and its necessary steel material.

      • 老朽單純橋梁의 振動擧動에 關한 硏究

        When the load acts dynamically, the deflection, the bending moment and the shearing force increase more than it acts statically. Accordingly the effect of dynamic load in design is considered by the mothod of progressive impact factor. However, it is hard to examine closely the exact valadity of that method. We developed the theory of vibration on the basis of general elasticity assumption to the vibration behavior of simple steel bridge, and calculated the deflection and the section force of each point of the beam in dynamic ioad acting on the middle of the beam. We compard these values with those from the method of progressive impact factor and those of survey to make clear the valadity of the method of progressive impact factor.

        A Suspension bridge is an economical bridge which is constructed in case of the long span. Theoretic ally the author tried to determine the shape of cable, the stress, the deformation, which are the main members of this bridge ; and then in three hinge high-strength reinforce truss, one of the suspenison bridge styles, the author described to determine at what point the moment and shearing force reach the maximum, when the load act on the bridge.

      • 橋梁의 振動擧動에 關한 基礎的 硏究

        When we design a bridge if we use the desing live load indicated in specifcation, it is considered to be in safety side. However, the large sized and high speeded vehicles have caused over-vibration of a bridge and the changing compass of its stress wave leaves a big problem. In this paper, the writer developed the theory of vibration based on general elastic assumption to the vibration behavior of a bridge, and tried to seek not only vibration behavior with frequency of vehicle and the change of speed by using Ragrange's equation of motion but also dynamic response by using matrix structural analysis.

        On the safety in building bridges Almost all of the accidents in building a steel bridge will happen at the time fo its construction. Therefore it is necessary to investigate the safety at the time of bridge building. In the light of the impotrance of this fact, the author investigated the safety of bridge construction by examing the materialson the construction of steel bridge,especially the examples of the accidents happened under the construction of bridge, the conditions fo construction and the other problems.
