The aim of this study is to provide basic data needed for beauty creators to grow into professionals. In terms of interest in beauty videos, ‘convenience’ was the highest, followed by ‘excitement’, ‘usefulness’, ‘interest’, ‘direct experience of cosmetics’ and ‘interactivity’. According to an analysis on beauty creator reliability, ‘expertise’ was the highest, followed by ‘intimacy’, ‘reliability’ and ‘objectivity’. The cosmetics purchase intention scores were 3.73 on average. According to an analysis on the correlations among variables, ‘excitement’, ‘convenience’, ‘direct experience of cosmetics’ and ‘interactivity’ revealed a statistically significant positive relationship with cosmetics purchase intention. In beauty creator reliability as well, ‘expertise’, ‘intimacy’, ‘reliability’ and ‘objectivity’ had a statistically significant positive effect on cosmetics purchase intention. To test the effects of interest in beauty videos on cosmetics purchase intention, a multiple regression analysis was performed. The results found that ‘excitement’, ‘direct experience of cosmetics’ and ‘interactivity’ are critical factors in customers’ purchase of cosmetics. In terms of the effects of beauty creator reliability on cosmetics purchase intention, ‘expertise’, ‘intimacy’, ‘reliability’ and ‘objectivity’ revealed a significant effect on cosmetics purchase intention.

NCS 기반 교육과정에 대한 미용교사의 인식

This study found that cosmetology teachers’ awareness of the effects of an NCS-based curriculum on cosmetology education was ‘more than average’. In particular, the awareness was high in Gangwon-do, Jeju-do, Seoul, Gwangju and Jeolla-do. With the introduction of an NCS-based curriculum, ‘teachers’ ability to evaluate practical fields’ was the highest. In addition, the ‘importance of existing teachers’ ability’ was relatively high. According to analysis of the awareness of teachers’ ability, ‘ability to teach theory’ was the highest. In manicurists, awareness of teachers’ ability was relatively high. This study attempted to analyze cosmetology teachers’ awareness of the equipment and facilities of schools that have adopted an NCS-based curriculum. According to the analysis, ‘Current cosmetology high school equipment and facilities should be upgraded to a reasonable level’ was the most responded. In Gwangju, Jeolla-do, Gangwon-do and Jeju-do, awareness of school equipment and facilities was high. In terms of differences in cosmetology teachers’ awareness of factors affecting an NCS-based curriculum by general characteristics, a statistically significant difference was observed by region. In Gwangju, Jeolla-do, Gangwon-do, Jeju-do and Seoul, awareness of the factors having influence on NCS-based curriculum was high.

거세비육 한우의 방광 내 결석 존재와 방광염 발생

한우 사육은 소비자의 요구와 동시에 농가의 소득을 향상시키기 위하여 고급육 생산을 목표로 사육되고 있다. 하지만 오랜 기간의 사양기술의 발전에도 불구하고 아직까지 거세비육을 하는 농 가에서 요로결석 발생으로 인한 피해가 종종 발생하고 있다. 요로결석은 비육후기 복통 및 배뇨장 애에 의한 스트레스로 인한 증체량 감소뿐만 아니라 심한 경우에는 폐사에 이르기도 한다. 본 연 구는 국립축산과학원에서 동일한 연령과 사양 프로그램으로 사육되던 거세비육우 22개월령 24두 중 1두에서 이상증상이 발생하여 수의사가 현장에서 진단을 하였다. 해당 가축은 전형적인 요로결 석 증상을 보였으며 배뇨를 못하는 요도폐색 증상을 나타내어 긴급도축을 하였다. 그러나 긴급도 축 2주 후 나머지 23두 중 1두에서 동일한 증상이 추가로 발생하여 긴급도축을 하였으며 수의사 가 도축장에 동행하여 방광과 요도내에 결석유무를 확인하여보았다. 해당 긴급도축우의 방광을 확 인하여 본 결과 방광근육 출혈 및 방광내에 결석존재와 결석으로 인한 요도폐색을 직접 확인하였 다. 2두의 긴급도축 후 남은 22두의 거세 비육우에서는 30개월령 출하 시기까지 더 이상의 요로결 석 임상증상이 발생하지 않았다. 하지만 동일 연령과 사양 프로그램으로 비육된 축군에서 방광 내 결석이 존재할 수 있다는 가정하에 나머지 22두의 출하시에 도축장에 동행하여 방광 내 결석유무 를 확인하였다 22두 중 개체에 따라서 결석 크기와 형태 및 양에서 차이가 있었지만 11두(50%)에 서 방광 내 결석을 확인하였다. 결석 성분분석결과 Carbonate apatite 20%, Magnesium Ammonium Phosphate (struvite) 80% 성분으로 이루어진 결석과 Calcium Oxalate Monohydrate 50%, Uric acid 50% 성분으로 구성된 2종의 결석을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 13두에서는 방광내에 혈액, 방광조직 출혈, 점막비후 등 육안적으로 이상소견을 확인 후 조직학적 검사결과 염증소견을 확인할 수 있었 다. 방광 내 결석이 발견된 11두 전 두수에서 방광염증이 확인되었으며, 방광내에 결석이 발견되 지 않은 11두 중 2두에서 방광염증이 확인되었다. 방광 내 결석존재와 방광염증 발생에 있어서 유 의성을 확인할 수 있었다.

미용 실습에 의한 접촉성 피부염과 특수 분장 재료에 대한 인식

According to analysis of contact dermatitis during Makeup training, 45.2% experienced the skin rash. Specifically, 35.7%, 40.5%, 13.1% and 7.1% suffered from the skin problem during special makeup training, esthetic training, hairdressing training and nail-care training respectively. Makeup and esthetic care revealed a statistically significant difference by training experience (p<.05). In Makeup, contact dermatitis often occurred during 6 to 12-month training. In esthetic care, on the contrary, the skin problem happened a lot among those aged 21 or older, compared to young people (age 20 or less). According to analysis on differences in the awareness of special Makeup products by general characteristics, a statistically significant difference occurred by sub-factor depending on the occurrence of contact dermatitis during special Makeup training (p<.05). The perception of the hazard of special makeup products was relatively higher among those with contact dermatitis (M=3.57) than among those without such skin trouble (M=3.31). In other words, the experience of contact dermatitis caused by special Makeup materials increased the awareness of their hazard. There would be further studies on how to reduce contact dermatitis during cosmetology training and component analysis for the safety of special Makeup products.

위장관 출혈을 동반한 위의 상피양 세포형 위장관 간질종양 1예

The stomach is the most frequently noted site (50∼60%) of gastrointestinal stromal tumor. This tumor is categorized into three subtypes (the spindle cell type, the epithelioid type or mixed type) according to the shape of the cells that make up the tumor. We herein report on a case of gastrointestinal stromal tumor with an epithelioid subtype in a 60-year-old male. On admission, the patient presented with epigastric pain and melena. Endoscopy revealed a submucosal tumor with a central ulcer at the gastric body. Gastric wedge resection was performed. The tumor cells showed a rounded shape and positive staining for CD117. Because the epithelioid type gastrointestinal stromal tumor is unusual in Korea, we report here on this case along with a review of the relevant literature. (Korean J Gastrointest Endosc 2007;35:87-90) 위장관 간질종양의 50~60%가 위에서 발생하며, 종괴를 구성하는 세포형에 따라서 방추형 세포형, 상피양 세포형 또는 혼합형으로 분류된다. 저자들은 위장관 출혈을 보인 60세 남자에서 상부위장관 내시경검사로 출혈성 궤양을 동반하는 위 점막하 종양을 관찰하고, 수술로 제거하여 면역조직화학 염색에서 CD117 양성인 상피양 세포형 위장관 간질종양으로 진단하였다. 국내에서는 비교적 드문 위장관 출혈을 동반한 위장관 간질종양의 아형을 경험하여 문헌고찰과 함께 보고한다.

We observed the external genitalia and uterus of a 24-month-old freemartin Hanwoo. The vulva was smaller than observed in a normal female Hanwoo, while the clitoris was larger in the freemartin. The angle between the external genitalia and the perineum also varied. Upon internal genital examination, the uterus of the freemartin was a thin tube approximately 18 cm in size and had not differentiated into a normal uterus and uterine horns.
