The technique that detects radiant energy from a flaming fire of fuels contained carbonaceous material can be applied to fast growing fires. This technique applied detectors are ultimately effective when early detecting fire alarm system is required or the smoke and heat detectors can not be applied. In Korea Fire regulation, a flame detector should be installed in case that the installation height is higher than 20 [m].Therefore it is really necessary that a flame detector has to be developed as soon as possible. The results of the research and development is as follows. With foundation technique of flame detector, ideal sensing element and stable circuit design, a trial UV flame detector is manufactured. UV radiant energy sensing device is developed through the modification and supplement of the structure and circuit. The R & D for the manufacture of an excellent flame detecting device is carried out with the establishment of technique for the mass production and the qualified manufacturing process.
월쉬함수에 의한 System Identification

This paper deals with the model reduction of the system in time domain. The error signals between the original and the simplified model is synthesised and the latter is estimated by the walsh function. It tries to minimise the errors between the time responses of the two systems. This method is compared with the existing method by means of a numerical of example. As a result, it can be applied for the simplification of higher order functions into lower order functions and for the design of control systems.

The orthogonal polynomials have been widely employed to solve control problems, but the LQG(linear quadratic gaussian) problem remains unsoloved. In this paper, we obtained the solutions of Riccati equation and covariance matrix Riccati equation by two point boundary problem and matrix fraction method using BPF(Block Pluse Function), respectively. This solutions are solved the problem of the LQG controller design.

It is difficult to analyze time delay system because the system is commonly expressed by high order equations. To avoid the difficulty, the undelayed linear formulations have been used. However, it is time consuming to directly analyze the undelayed linear formulations in case of complicated system. In this paper, to prevent disadvantage of time consuming, a proper solution technique having advantage of time saving is used to solve the system.

This paper established a clear procedure for the variational problem solution via the Walsh functions technigue. First the Walsh functions are introduced and their properties briefly summarized. Then an operational matrix is derived for integration use. The variational problems are solved by means of the direct method using the Walsh series. An illustractive example is included.
Microcomputer에 依한 直流電動機의 速度檢出에 關한 硏究

The writer adopted the Static Leonard Control System for speed detection of D.C. Motor using microcomputer. The writer detected the speed accuracy of 2-3% of D.C. motor by Idle Time of C.P.U. for control, and found out that the constant - value control of the same accuracy was possible. Though we could simplify the system costitution by omitting the Tach Generator of speed control system, however, there remained some problems to be solved in future on accuracy and so forth.
Thyristor 導通角 制御에 依한 誘導電動機의 運轉特性

In this research the adopted continuity angle control to get extensive speed control as a voltage control of induction motor using thyristor. The result of this experiment improved the speed-torque characteristic compared with firing angle control, and the writer defined the characteristic of induction motor by getting an equivalent circuit in consideration of speed voltage. However, it leaves a problem that there will be a delay of continuity angle as the feed back circuit is composed in thyristor continuity angel control. So it is desirable to make a through study of this problem.

This research used block pulse functions transformation method the linear time-varying systems. The method presented in this paper was introduced in an easier and more logical way by using the orthogonality of block pulse functions and integral operation matrix. This research therefore, showed its usefulness by developing easier method of analysis algorithm using block pulse functions, and also making it possible to calculate differential equation easily. This proposed method is applied to a linear time-varying systems as a simulation example. The method presented in the paper is simple and computationally advantageous.
측정오차와 외란을 고려한 유도전동기의 강인한 속도제어에 관한 연구

It is difficult to control industrial drive systems because of load disturbance, parameter variation and measurement noise. So a theorem is required to have robustness for the measurement noise and disturbance. This paper is among the researches of solving these problems. Sliding mode state observer is robust for measurement noise, modeling-error and load disturbance. The pole of sliding mode state observer can be placed at (0,0) in Z-plane for fast response. This method is, namely, deadbeat control. One side, sliding mode state observer output is discontinuous on a switching hyperplance, that causes harmful effects such as current harmonics and speed oscillation. In this paper, also the reducing method of the chattering of sliding mode state observer output is proposed. In this paper, the method of designing a robust sliding mode state observer taking account of the ability of disturbance and noise attenuation is proposed. Also, the proposed control system is digitally implemented with TMS320C31.
