The non - steady state plane strain rolling problem was solved by the rigid - plastic finite element method based on large strain formulation of plastic deformation. The velocity field in the deforming material and the external forces along the arc of contact were abtained. From these quantities, roll torque and roll pressure distributions as well as stress and strain fields, were calculated. A series of cases with different thickness reductions and friction were analyzed.
Circadian Rhythm 변화가 등속성 각근력 발휘에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of circadian rhythm on isokinetic muscular strength in lower limber. Ten adult men participated in this study and their muscular strength, the average power, the total work and the ipsilateral balance of lower limber were measured using the Cybex 770 system on various time in a day in KSSI. The summary of this results are as follows : 1. The extensor and flexor strength per body weight estimated as the peak torque for each time was the highest in the afternoon (3 pm) followed by before noon (10 am), at night (9 pm), and early in the morning (6 am) in order. 2. The average power and the total work of each time were the highest in the afternoon followed by before noon, at night, and early in the morning in order. And the two variables were significantly different between 6 am and 10 am, 10 am and 3 pm, and 3 pm and 9 pm (P < 0.001). 3. The ipsilateral balance by circadian rhythm was the highest in the afternoon followed by before noon, in the morning, and at night in order. The results showed that the isokinetic strength in lower limber was the highest in the afternoon and the lowest early in the morning indicating the influence of circadian rhythm. It is thought that these differences were due to changes in body temperature, the nerve transmission velocity, motor unit recruitments and the muscle joint flexibility. Therefore, it is recommended that the general population may not exercise vigorously in the morning. Rather should they exercise in the afternoon to maintain the best condition and cover a desired exercise volume. Also, it is recommended that the elite athletes should find an optimal exercise technique to match the game time after proper control of circadian rhythm. Additional measurements monitoring various other variables should be made for better understanding on athlete's performance.

Inflation is one of the serious economic issues that are faced in many countries. Also, much attention have been focused on inflation in that it is accompanied with the high unemployment rate and economic recession. This paper is intended to analyze the effects of budget deficit and grain management fund deficit on inflation and money supply. The estimation results show that effect of budget deficit on money supply are substantial and statistically significant. But its effect on inflation seems to be almost negligible and is not statistically significant. For the case of grain management fund deficit, the coefficient of money supply equation have some what power of explanation. On the other hand, effect of grain management fund deficit on inflation are statistically significant, but the size of coefficient is very small. So, it is hard to say that its effect on inflation is substantial. The reasons are that as the size of economy is continuously increasing, relative size of grain management fund deficit are decreasing. So, equations have to be estimated by the periods at the basis of the extent of expansion of economic size.
