As small industrial complex for rural area was established in all rural areas scatteringly, unproper treatment of waste water discharged from these complex directly give damage at farm land although quantity of waste waters are relative samll. For the purpose of proper design and construction of waste water treatment plant, it is very important to find characteristics of waste water about individual factories. Our investigation of waste water characteristics are as followings. 1) Quantity of sewage discharged by employee is average 104 lpcd. 2) Ratio to sewage and waste water appears 62% to 38% Characteristics of waste waters will be carefully applicated to each factory under consideration of kind of Factory, type of process and rate of work, etc. 3) Maximum load of waste waters appers at A.M 12, and peak factor is 3.6 4) Conversion rate of waste waters from water appears 0.84 5) Quality of sewage appear BOD 138, COD 56, SS 125㎎/l. Quality of industrial waste water have a bid differences according to king of factory. 6) Forecastion quantity of waste waters per area and number of employee could be calculated to following equations. · Quantity of waste water per working area Y=0.003597X+109 · Number of employee per working area Y Y=0.012468X+246(For minimum employees) Y=0.0170812X+637(For Maximum employees)
