      • Box Girder 의 應力解析과 그 實驗的 考察

        Box girder is the section type which is much adopted in the structures of the long span bridges, the elevated high bridges and the curved beam bridges in the cities and its feature is the strength to the torsion. According to its using materials its kinds are steel girder bridge, P.C. girder bridge or composited girder bridge which is combined steel and concrete, etc. As this box girder has much complexity in the stress analysis foretime its design has been largely depended on the simple analysis. But, these days, the appearance of the electric computer and the instruments which can measure the various actual stresses showed that the simple analysis is not suitable to the actual stress. And so its design urgently require any exact analysis. Therefore this paper is tried to discover the most approached design method to the actual stress. In order to achieve this purpose, we made a box girder model using methylmetacrylate and compared the theoretical values with the experimental valves by the experiment.

      • 時間履歷 解析法을 利用한 FAN型 斜張橋의 動力學的 特性에 관한 硏究

        This study analyzed dynamic responses of cable-stayed bridge under seismic loads using numerical integral methods. Both girder and towers were included in earthquake-proof analysis. The fan type of cable-stayed bridge were investigated. The earthquake-proof analysis was composed of static analysis and dynamic analysis, which is based on the static analysis. It was determined the influenec lines in the static analysis. For the dynamic anlysis, the cable-stayed bridges were regarded as the multi-degrees of freedom system by means of the lumped-mass method. Various earthquake responses such as dynamic deflection, bending moment, shearing force, cable tension were investigated by the dynamic analysis based on the time history analysis. The time history analysis used the mode superposition method.

        It is possible to analysis behavior of structure subjected dynamic affects by simple method based on Transfer matrix method consists of Field Matrix and Point Matrix. This study deals with the method for calculating eigenvalues and eigenvectors of girder bridge. Compared with results this method, this is good approximation.

      • 長大橋架設에 있어서 가장 經濟的인 新工法(平衡式)開發에 關한 硏究

        Recently, there is a tendency to build long-span bridges by the prestressed concrete design more than the steel structure. The record of the span length has been marked more than 200 meters in P.C. bridge. Such a lengthening of the bridge-span requires the development of the new method constructing it without timberings, instead of the conventional method using them. So, in this study efforts have been made on the development if the new construction method as a part of such a requirement, that is , the proposed method here is turning girders horizontally to match them to the other side, after constructing them on the convenient place of the construction site. A bridge model was build for this study and the results obtained has been better than expected. Consequently, it is considered that the above proposal is very simple and economic in applying it to the practical problem, compared with the conventional ones.

      • Olsen의 薄版理論에 依한 Slab橋設計의 解析的 考察 : Based on the Olsen's thin plate theory

        The structure of the slab bridge is the simplest of the many types of the briges. Its accurate analysis is considered very difficult, as the applied analytic theory is based on the thin plate theory. Because that bridge consists of the main plate and cantilever, and several sorts of loads is acted, it is all the more complicated to get a proper solutions. But if the figures and charts suggested by Olsen's thin plate analysis is utilized it becomes easy and accurate to get the solution. It is expected this paper whould make much contribution to the design of the slab bridge.

      • Truss構造物의 Suboptimization에 關한 硏究

        This study treated the optimization method of member section in order to make more ease the optimum design of the complicated truss structures. The section type of truss compression member was handled the box section. In Fig. 1, as the design variables are selected four sides these problems are positively non-linear. There are some methods to optimize the non-linear problems. But, of those, the sequential linear programming which is the most useful was selected in this study. In our country the study of this optimum design reached partly high level. But, unfortunately this study is progressing by minimum persons. Being a few consistent study data, in treating the optimum design method, the design engineers have much difficulties. Like this, in our country, one of the reasons for the poor progress of the optimum design study is considered that electric computers are not widely prevaleid. Under these conditions this study is one step of trial for getting the consistent design data.

      • 格子桁에 있어서 剛比가 荷重橫分配作用에 미치는 影響

        This study investigated the effects of the stiffness ratios of grid girder in three regions. The stiffness ratio is the one of the moment of inertia of the main girder to the floor beam, and the practical regions are as follows; J : J_Q=10 : 1, J : J_Q = 20 : 1 and J : J_Q=2 : 1 Using the method of Homberg's and Leonhardt's Grid Theory and of Guyon-Massonet's plate Theory, The section forces were determined under the different load conditions sperately and one of floor beam and two of it. On the result the following facts were found. That is, the three theoretical values were very close to each other, and according to load conditions there appeared two portions one of them is the part that the effects of stiffness ratio didn't influence, and the other is the one thae the difference of about 15% in section forces appeared in the portions which the effect of it is acute.

      • 薄版理論에 依한 中空 床版橋 設計 計算에 關한 小考

        It is a principle to analize the slab of reinforced concrete according to the thin plate theory. Accordingly the purpose of this paper lies in trying to make practical the chart which is made on the ground of Olsen's thin plate theory by applying it to the calculation of the circular hole slab bridge design. For the method to use Olsen's chart, we may use the applicable chart, because every influence value in case of ratio between span and bridge width L : b=1 : 1 or 2 : 1, 3 : 1 is recorded in the chart. As the example of this subject is L : b=2.64 : 1, we must make a new chart and calculate it by way of interpolation between 2.5 : 1=3 : 1 above-mentioned. As I mentioned such things as the advantages of the structure in the previous thesis, I should like to deal with B,M, chiefly, omissing the calculation of steel quantity and the section stress(Section calculation) and so on.
