This research aimed to determine what effects the dancing learning of primary school students had on the development of their emotion quotient. Thus, in surveying their EQ, the research polled 293 primary school students who enrolled with private dancing institutes in Gwangju City and South Jeolla Province. It came out with the following conclusion. First, the EQ of primary school students who participated in dancing learning was normal. Also, of lower variables, the ability to express emotion was low, while abilities of emotion recognition, emotion control, empathy and emotion utilization were normal. Second, of primary school students participating in dancing learning, compared to high graders, low graders had high-level abilities of emotion recognition, while high graders had high-level abilities of emotion utilization and emotion expression. Third, the ballet-learning group had high-level abilities of emotion control and emotion recognition, while the Korean dancing-learning group had a high-level ability of empathy. Compared to those with no experience in winning prizes in dancing contests, prize-winners had higher-level abilities of emotion control, empathy, emotion utilization, and emotion expression. Particularly, earnest learners had a higher-level ability of emotion utilization than those who participated in dancing without enthusiasm. Fourth, participation types of dancing learning had effects on empathy, and participation attitude of dancing learning had effects on emotion utilization. Also, an experience in winning prizes in dancing contests had negative effects on emotion expression and empathy abilities, but positive effects on emotion control and emotion utilization abilities
Prediction Abilities vs. Content Schema in Explaining Korean EFL Learners’ Reading Comprehension

As research evidence for the facilitative effects of reading strategies on reading comprehension has been accumulating, research and pedagogical interests in pre-reading strategies such as prediction and schema activation are increasing. Yet, little research evidence of how actual performance on such tasks may be related to reading comprehension is sparse. This study explores whether prediction abilities and content schema are related to Korean middle school EFL learners’ reading comprehension abilities in English, and whether such potential relations may differ for factual and inferential comprehension. The study participants were one hundred thirty-seven Korean seventh grade students, and their performance on schema activation, prediction, and reading comprehension abilities was investigated, while controlling for their overall language proficiency and literacy skills. The findings indicated that although both prediction abilities and content schema facilitated reading comprehension, prediction abilities were a relatively stronger predictor of both factual and inferential comprehension. The results further suggest the need to provide effective trainings on pre-reading strategies.
3D 변형 공정 지도 기반 AISI 4340 소재의 열간 단조 온도 및 변형률 속도 제어

This paper investigated the hot deformation behavior of an AISI 4340 material through high-temperature compression experiments. The compression tests were performed to obtain stress-strain curves at processing temperatures of 900, 1,000, 1,100, and 1,200oϹ, and the strain rates of 0.01, 0.1, 1, and 10 s-1 up to a true strain of 1.0 in the high-temperature compression mode of Gleeble® 3,500. A novel 3D processing map, constructed through power dissipation efficiency and Ziegler's instability criterion, is proposed. The deformation behavior was analyzed by observing changes in the microstructure from the high-temperature compression tests. Electron back scatters diffraction (EBSD) was used to characterize the microstructures for various processing parameters. The process workability of finite element analysis (FEA) was examined in the deformation flow instability map in the three-dimensional space for each strain. As a result, each particle's strain rate and temperature of FEA data can be observed in a three-dimensional flow instability map to control the temperature and process speed to avoid unstable zones.

In this paper, we describe the implementation of the configuration platform (LonWare) based on Linux for LonWorks which is one of the popular standard of home control network. LonWare consists of three modules NMML, Lonware API, LonWare DB, and it provides semantically well-defined APls for application device developers to easily access and control. And, LonWare DB is not needed to be located the outside of home, so the security-safe configurator can be made. 본 논문에서는 홈 제어 네트워크의 대표적 표준으로 자리잡고 있는 LonWorks 시스템의 구성관리 소프트웨어의 플랫폼(LonWare)을 리눅스기반에서 구현한 내용을 기술한다. LonWare는 NMML, LonWare APl, LonWare DB의 3개의 모듈로 이루어져 있고, 응용 프로그램 개발자에게 LonWorks 시스템을 쉽게 접근 및 제어할 수 있는 인터페이스를 제공한다. 또한, 가정 내의 디바이스 네트워크 DB를 가정 내 홈 서버에서 관리하므로 보안상의 단점을 보완할 수 있다.
