An analysis of learning effect of finger's reaction time for middle and old aged

In this paper, a mathematical model of learning curve is proposed to study the fi- nger's reaction time. The model is a logarithmic linear type which represents a lear- ning curve appropriately, and parameters are estimated by the linear. The learning coefficient and percentage of a reaction time can easily computed in the mathematical model. This quantitative approach provieds an important information to be used fot the working capqbility qualification of re-employment as well as the adaptability estimation of aged workers.

This study is for analyzing the explosion accidents in the tunnels, roads, subways, streets and various kinds of building construction area with the use of Fault Tree Analysis(FTA). based on the police Department and Guns & Explosives Safety Technology Association's researching materials. the explosion accidents have been investigated and analyzed between 1988 and 1977. As the result, we can find out that the majority of the explosion accidents in Korea is the accidents by flown stones(45.7%), like in Japan. So we make the research chart which is needed for analyzing the explosion accident, and then analyze these accidents systematically. using the investigation codes of the industrial accidents. After that, the FTA was performed on the accidents by flown stones. They result fromm non-observance of the safety rules, and lees knowledge of the safety and so on. Moreover several causes are combined and then the accidents are apt to happen. So according to the results of this study, for the protection of the explosion accidents, the specialized safety education is badly needed and the enough investigation of the places before the work along with the management for safety in working must be planned.

This paper was analnzed the 1,622 traffic accidents of kyounbuk area provided by the police bureau in 1982 and showed the precautionary measures of traffic accidents by using data sheets. The population of aged people in industries has been increased remarkably due to the decline of birth rates and the increase of average life span. Also, the current automation trends makes aged people to work easy in industries since automation technologies help them to avoid physically hard tasks. Therefore the evaluation of aged workers' adaptability would be an important research topic. In the study, the mean and standard deviation of the reaction time are calculated to see the differences with four lamps's types and ages. It is found that the mean reaction time and the standard deviation are increased with the the increase of age. The quantitative approach provides an important information to be used not only for the adaptability estimation of aged workers but also for the working capability qualification for re-employment.

In the previous report, the auther reported on the kinetic finger function analysis. This study aims at examining the controllable aspects of human finger function using lifting control, transfer timing and hands coordination tester. Four characters-melancholic, sanguine, phlegmatic and choleric temperament-were divided by the working-character tester of Yuhata Kohata. And five men were selected in each character by random sample. The result was that the choleric temperment by hands coordination tester had the most effect on the working though the difference between characters was not in the tests of lifting control and transfer timing.

Folk lift trucks are widely used in many industrial fields, and accidents relating to the operation of folk lift trucks have been frequently happening due tol ack of safety measures. Among the factors of folk lifttruck-related accidents, collision and contact were the most frequent. The arm fatigue of operators who manipulate the steering wheel of the folk lift truck for a long time may be another factor that may cause a greater accident. This study was conducted to analyze and compare through Biodex system 3 the fatigue degree of an operator’s arm when steering wheel bar is used in the fork lift truck ornot. It was shown that when the steering wheel bar was used, the maximum muscle power, the total work load, and the average power of operator were low. Therefore, the use of steering wheel bar needs to be taken into consideration with more interest.
작업장에서의 요통재해 발생 원인과 인간공학적 대책에 관한 연구

The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors related to the occurrence of the low back disorder in the workplace, and to establish an appropriate intervention. As a method of study, research on actual state of back pain among workers of P manufacturing company was carried out. Data from the research was analyzed. For human engineering analysis, the form, the content and the frequency of work was surveyed. The result of this study, which contains the research on the actual state of back pain and the precise on the work process, could be used to reduce the low back disorder.
