        人事考課 評價方案에 大한 硏究

        This Paper tries to reduce the evaluating bias, central tendency, leniency of the raters by using the statistical tool such as mean and standard deviation; Ⅰ.e., we ma the evaluating scores into standard normal distribution and transform the standard normal distribution to the normal distribution whose mean and standard deviation are determined, then every evaluation score group has the same mean and the same standard deviation, and the comparison and operation of the evaluated scores have the meaning in the personnel evaluation.

      • 복합자료형태에 대한 수요 예측기법

        The basic four types of observed data are horizontal data pattern, seasonal data pattern, cyclical data pattern. and trend data pattern. In mamy problems, the data that are most frequently encountered are complex data pattern of these four types. In this paper, we study the forecasting method of the complex data pattern which has the cyclical data pattern and trend one by using the autocorrelation analysis and the trend analysis. The algorithm of the forecasting for the complex data pattern is to seperate the trend component and cyclical component from complex data pattern at first and to forecost the future value of trend part and cyclical part seperately, and finally, to add future values of both data pattern.

        This paper study on lanes and signals in traffic safety symbols. In lanes the color and line are very important factors that give driver a direction and signal. Hence wrong-used color and line give driver confusion which cause traffic accident. According to this point at issue we deal with one way road, parking-stoping prohibition lane, lane change prohibition sign safety Zone and variable lane. In signals we have signal cycle improved so that fit continuous traffic flow and drivers can afford to cope with signal change, and deal with an yellow on-and-off light that stand on the intersection at midnight. The method is the analysis of the road traffic laws in force and questionaire for drivers in order to search the point at issue.

        Designing principles of the pavement traffic markings are proposed that are compatible with normal sence of drivers and social customs. The principles are 1) solid lines must not be violated in any cases, and 2) dotted lines may be crossed, but only in case safety is warranted. Several problems in current pavement traffic markings are uncovered and improved designs are suggested The proposed markings were designed such that they are subject to quick detection and easy recognition.

        Basic figures and colors of traffic safety symbols are designed with reference to the meaning of their colors and figures. For warning signs. we retained the current standard of yellow background on triangle. Regulatory signs are divided into prohibition sign and restriction sign. Both use red circle on white background on a round plate as the basic figure. However, restriction sign has oblique red line as a supplement to the basic figure. Guide signs use blue background in a rectangle with white hand. Supplemental signs use white background on a rectangle with black band. Pavement markings use solid lines and dotted lines. Solid lines indicate no trespassing across the other lines. Dotted lines allow crossing over when it is safe enough. Combination of solid line and dotted line should be interpreted as follows : if the lane is adjacent to dotted line with solid line, then the driver must follow the dotted line regulation and vice versa. No stopping and parking is allowed on the pavement markings, The color of lane line should he yellow if it means two way traffic, white if the traffic is in the same direction. Bus only lane use blue and white lines, locating blue line on the bus only lane. This paper also presents solutions to the problems inherent to the current safety symbols.

        An efficient method for the time -minimizing transportation problem(bottleneck transportation problem) is described. This method starts with any known basic fesible solution and the entering element is selected with the aid of a characteristics of base which are studied on the standard transportalion problem. The algorithm for this method is shown to be computational superior.

      • 교통사고 예방시설에 대한 연구

        The basic cause of traffic accident is the pressure that is exerted by the changes in the velocity of the vehicle. To prevent or reduce traffic accidents, various safety signs should be designed in such ways that they are accurates decision making. The designs should be simple and clear enough. Locations that are likely to cause traffic accidents should have safety signs installed in duplicate or triplicate such that drivers can take precautious actions for safety driving. It was noticed that some of the current traffic signs may lead to confusion and accidents. Corrective solutions were suggested with respect to warnig signs and regulatory signs. Major sugestions include the following : Pavement markings must follow the clear definition of colors, solid lines and dotted lines. Problems related to the current pavement markings were discussed and corectives solutions were presented. Green flickering traffic signal should be adopted in between the green signal and yellow signal in the intention to reduce the stress of drivers to stop or go.

        Bicriterion transportation problem for the total cost and transportation time is studied by Srinivarsan, V.-Thompson, P. L, [5] and Glickman, T. S.-Berger, P.D. [3] with the primal method of the standard transportation problem. In this paper, new algorithm of the bicriterion transportation problem is studied with the characteristics of the base in the standard transportation problem and the computing range of entering base and leaving base are reduced on each iteration by the result of it's study.

        Prediction Intervals to contain the Standandard Deviations of Future Samples

        In this thesis we extend several results on prediction intervals that were obtained under the assumption that the sample observations are independent and identically distributed as N(μ,σ^z). We assume that the samples are correlated with a prescribed correlation structure and show that many of the  results available for the independent case apply equally well for the correlated samples. The correlation structure assumed occurs in variance components models in Analysis of Variance and the results can also be applied to the case where the samples have an intraclass correlation(equicorrelated samples).
