        A guideline to estimate cooling load has been developed for cool crop storage system design. Due to the lack of the guideline in practice so far, the cooling systems have been quite often oversized and therefore the energy consumed more than optimally design. Therefore, a reference guideline has been proposed and the effect of key factors such as store rate and pre cooling on cooling load has been quantified. This study indicated that well-guide crop storage system could save electrical load and energy very impressively.

      • 대전지방에서 제조된 시멘트 벽돌의 강도에 대한 종합 고찰(Ⅰ.Ⅱ.Ⅲ)

        시멘트 벽돌(Cement Brick)은 조적식 구조에 사용되고 있는 가장 대표적인 재료로서 여러 건축물에 관련되어 있는 중요한 건축재료인 것이다. 이런 점으로 보아서 시멘트 벽돌은 제작이 간단하고 용이한 것 같이 생각되지만 여러가지 복잡하고 아직까지 해결되지 못한 점들이 많이 남아 있는 것이다. 더욱이 요즈음 건축물에 가장 많이 사용되는 시멘트 벽돌이 매우 간단한 것처럼 생각하고 일부 몰지각한 업자들이 건축물의 "붐"을 틈타 마구 찍어만 내는 시멘트 벽돌을 50여개 장소에서 수집하여 KSF 4004(한국감정공업규격)에 어느만큼 도달하고 있는가를 토대로 삼아 지금까지 연 1회 3회에 걸쳐 즉 1차 1968년 6월, 제2차 1969년 7월, 제3차 1970년 7월에 실시한 압축강도에 대하여서 시험하고 분석된 것을 종합해서 발표하고자 한다. Some tests and experiments have been made on the cement bricks manufactured in the Tagjon area, of how much they are ex??t to the industrial standard, and of what influence they have on the coastruction, first in 1968, second in '69' and third in 70. The experiment of the pressure strength of the cement bricks made by the dozens of makers shows us that they are far below the standard, which demands for the awakening of the makers, the proper countermeasure on the deficiency of them, and at the same time presents the problems of the quality control and its execution, the executer supervision the enforcement of the industrial standard and its standardization, and the quality inspection, etc. As the quality control can't be executed without the preceding standardization of the articles, there must be the drive for the standardization first of all, some methods of which are illustrated in the following: 1. More interest must be taken in the standardized articks or the standardization, on the part of the highest managers and it must be enforecd more positively. 2. The positive cooperation, and the training or the education must be urged, to back up the enforcement of the nation's standardized or standardization. 3. The highesr managers must have constant concern, and estimate the result of the standardized articles or the standardization. The above-mentioned measures must be taken without cease, and if there were any managers who think or say. "It will do only to ?? the inspection." or "selling is all I can do," they must repent their thinking and try to improve the quality of their products.

      • 大田地方에서 製造된 Cement Brick(벽돌)의 强度에 對한 考察〔Ⅱ〕

        Now that the cement bricks play a great part in modern construction. brick makers are requested to make the ones proper for industrial standard, so that they can help develop the national construction project, a second five-year development plan. I have collected the cement bricks made by the thirty different makers in Taejon area, and some suggestions are made according to the data obtained through my experiment.

      • 석재오염의 외국실험 사례조사 및 촉진실험에 의한 새로운 접근방법에 대하여

        Granite has it own natural beauty, and it has been widely used as building cladding, flooring material of the ground, and stone are etc. However, various types of contamination on the granite have been developed and become a serious problem. The main contamination is caused by chemicals(sealant, detergent, spreading chemical for protection of the backside stone surface from mortar). And the other types of contamination on the surface granite come from undesirable carrying out and mis-handling of the stone by workers during construction. Therefore, mechanism of the stain/contamination of the granite should be investigated and new experimental approach was developed in this research. Foreign studies similar to this approach were reviewed, and related factors which determine the types of the stain/contamination are considered. The new developed experimental approach is accelerated testing method by spraying artificial acid rain in the inside of chamber. This equipment enable to create a stain/contamination in the inside the chamber within a short time instead of actual outdoor exposure study which takes much longer time.

      • 組立式 住宅의 部材斷熱 性能에 관한 硏究(Ⅰ)

        This study treated the thermal insulating performances of the building materials and structures. The author chose the S.P.System as a case study, and reviewed its performances of thermal insulation and its economic effects from the energy conservation and building techniques. The Adventages of S.P.System identified in this study can be summarized as follows 1) As the thermal insulating performance of the S.P. is better than any orther materials, We can get a lot of effects of energy conservation by using it. 2) As the roof is composed of the same material as the wall in this system, it gives additional effect to the thermal insulation and solar heart system can easily be applied to this system. 3) As the S.P.System is one of pre-fabrication system, we can save the considerable amount of the total cost and period in construction.

      • 建物에너지 性能基準의 改善方案 硏究

        Since the end of 1970s a lot of energy related regulations and measures for energy conservation of buildings was prescribed and abolished. But to ensure that the substantial energy conservation is accomplished, it is necessary to ensure that not only the regulations and measures have to be observed favourably but also they might be investigated through the process of post evaluation. The study for the purpose of post evaluation of present using regulations and measures could be summarized as following results. ·In the aspect of the performance standard against our component standard energy rating method of existing detached houses was suggested. ·Some fallacies on the calculation of annual heating and cooling load of apartments were pointed out and their improvements were presented. ·By the recent amendment of Code for design guideline of office buildings, unreasonableness on the existing Code was analyzed and its improvements are prepared. ·Unreasonableness of Energy Performance Index as a energy evaluation tool of buildings was investigated and analyzed.

        시멘트벽돌(Cement Brick)은 組積式構造에 使用되는 材料로써 諸 建築物에 關連되어 있는 主要한 建築材料이다. 이런점으로 보아서 Cement Brick은 簡單하고 容易한것 같으나 여러가지 複雜하고 아직까지 解決되지 못한 점들이 많이 남아 있는 것이다. 이러한 점을 생각해서 이 地方에서 製造되고 있는 Cement 벽돌을 20餘個~場所에서 蒐集하여 KS F_4004(한국감정공업규격)에 어느만큼 到達하고있는가를 土台로 삼아 壓縮强度, 吸水率, 形狀과 規格 等을 試驗하고 分析 檢討하고저한다.
