Schiff Base 리간드의 몰리브텐(0)- 니트로실 착물 합성과 분광학적 성질

Molybdenum(0) - nitrosyl complexes of Schiff bases derived from salicylaldehyde, 3-methoxysalicylaldehyde, 5-nitrosalicylaldehyde, 5-bromosalicylaldehyde, 5,6-benzosalicylaldehyde, and 2-aminobenzenthiol have been prepared in one step by the reaction of [Mo(NO)₂(acac)₂](acac = acetylacetone) and the Schiff bases. The infrared spectral absorptions at ~1760cm-¹ and ~1640cm-¹ indicated that the nitrogene monoxide groups were coordinated as NO+ and were cis to each other. The ¹H-NMR spectral studies were also presented. The analytical and spectral data suggested that the complexes are of the type [Mo(NO)₂(LH)₂](LH=Schiff bases) in which Schiff bases behave as monobasic bidentate ligands and coordinate to molybdenum through the azomethine nitrogen and phenolic oxygen of the saicylaldehyde moiety.
쌀, 옥수수에 대한 솔잎 Polyphenols 처리가 Aflatoxin 생성 저해에 미치는 영향

쌀과 옥수수를 온습도의 조절 없이 상온에서 90일간 장기저장하며 aflatoxin 생성 정도를 측정해 본 결과 쌀과 옥수수에서 공통적으로 저장 30일 이후 각각 0.1, 0.3 ppb의 aflatoxin이 검출되었다. 그러나 저장 온도 및 습도가 상승할수록 aflatoxin 생성 정도는 비례적으로 급속한 증가추세를 나타내어 이들 시료에서 aflatoxin 생성 최적 온습도는 각각 25∼30℃, 80% 내외인 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 동일한 조건하에서 상대적으로 쌀보다는 옥수수에서 그 생성 정도가 심각함을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편, aflatoxin 생성 최적조건인 온도 30℃, 습도 80%의 조건하에서 쌀과 옥수수에 대하여 MeOH 추출물과 polyphenol성 물질들을 각각 0∼0.05% (w/w) 단독처리하여 저장기간에 다른 aflatoxin의 생성량을 측정한 결과는 다음과 같았다. 즉, 전체적으로 그 처리량이 증가할수록 상대적으로 aflatoxin 억제능은 상승하는 것으로 나타났으며, 종류별로는 catechin (CT) < MeOH extract <polyphenol(PP) < flavonoid (FN)의 순으로 나타났다. While rice and corn were stored at room temperature for 90 days the degree of aflatoxin production was measured without humidity and temperature control. The amount of aflatoxin production of rice and corn after 30 days was 0.1 and 0.3 ppb, respectively. The degree of aflatoxin production increased rapidly with increasing storage temperature and humidity. The optimum conditions of aflatoxin production were 25∼30℃ and 80% humidity. The degree of aflatoxin production in corn was higher than in rice under the same conditions. Rice and corn were treated with 0∼0.05%(w/w) of methyl alcohol (MeOH) extract and polyphenol (PP) group materials individualy respectively under the optimum conditions. As the result, the inhibition effect of aflatoxin production increased with increasing the amount of treatment. It appeared as follows: catechin (CT) < MeOH extract < PP < flavonoid (FN).
How To Prepare For Retirement? Optimal Saving, Labor Supply, and Investment Strategy

In this paper we study consumption-labor supply decision of an agent who prepares for retirement at a known time in the future. The agent is assumed to have a preference which is represented by a von Neumann-Morgenstern utility function in which the felicity function has constant relative risk aversion over the composite of consumption and leisure. The composite is obtained by a Cobb-Douglas function. A general problem has been studied by Bodie, Detemple, Ortuba, and Walter (2004). We contribute to the literature by deriving Slutsky equations and conduct comparative statics. In particular, we show that the wealth effect can exhibit interesting property depending upon the time until retirement, as the interest rate increases.

<P><B>We Are Stardust</B></P><P>Most of the universe's chemical elements were produced in stars, with the heaviest elements being produced when stars explode. <B>Barlow <I>et al.</I></B> (p. 1343) used the Herschel Space Observatory to obtain submillimeter spectra of the Crab Nebula, the remains of a stellar explosion that was witnessed on Earth in 1054 AD, and detected the first evidence of a noble gas-containing molecular ion in space—<SUP>36</SUP>ArH<SUP>+</SUP>. <B>Koo <I>et al.</I></B> (p. 1346) obtained near-infrared spectroscopic observations of the remains of another stellar explosion, Cassiopeia A, with the Palomar 5-m Hale telescope, and found evidence that a substantial amount of phosphorus was formed in the explosion. Among the six elements essential for life (hydrogen, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, phosphorus, and sulfur), only the origin of phosphorus remained to be confirmed by observation.</P>

<B>ABSTRACT</B><P>Intraembryonic hematopoiesis occurs at two different sites, the floor of the aorta and subaortic patches (SAPs) of the para-aortic splanchnopleura (P-Sp)/aorta-gonad-mesonephros (AGM) region. Notch1 and RBP-jκ are critical for the specification of hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) in Notch signal-receiving cells. However, the mechanism by which Notch signaling is triggered from the Notch signal-sending cells to support embryonic hematopoiesis remains to be determined. We previously reported that Mind bomb-1 (Mib1) regulates Notch ligands in the Notch signal-sending cells (B. K. Koo, M. J. Yoon, K. J. Yoon, S. K. Im, Y. Y. Kim, C. H. Kim, P. G. Suh, Y. N. Jan, and Y. Y. Kong, PLoS ONE 2:e1221, 2007). Here, we show that intraembryonic hematopoietic progenitors were absent in the P-Sp of <I>Mib1</I><SUP>−/−</SUP> embryos, whereas they were partly preserved in the <I>Tie2-cre</I>; <I>Mib1</I><SUP><I>f</I></SUP><SUP>/<I>f</I></SUP> P-Sps, suggesting that Mib1 plays a role in the endothelium and the SAPs. Interestingly, <I>dll1</I> and <I>dll4</I>/<I>Jag1</I> are expressed in the SAPs and the endothelium of the AGM, respectively, where <I>mib1</I> is detected. Indeed, Notch signaling was activated in the nascent HSCs at both sites. In the P-Sp explant culture, the overexpression of Dll1 in OP9 stromal cells rescued the failed production of hematopoietic progenitors in the <I>Mib1</I><SUP>−/−</SUP> P-Sp, while its activity was abolished by Mib1 knockdown. These results suggest that Mib1 is important for intraembryonic hematopoiesis not only in the aortic endothelium but also in the SAPs.</P>
