A Comprehensive Review of Lipidomics and Its Application to Assess Food Obtained from Farm Animals
Yinghua Song,Changyun Cai,Yingzi Song,Xue Sun,Baoxiu Liu,Peng Xue,Mingxia Zhu,Wenqiong Chai,Yonghui Wang,Changfa Wang,Mengmeng Li 한국축산식품학회 2022 한국축산식품학회지 Vol.42 No.1
Lipids are one of the major macronutrients essential for adequate growth and maintenance of human health. Their structure is not only complex but also diverse, which makes systematic and holistic analyses challenging; consequently, little is known regarding the relationship between phenotype and mechanism of action. In recent years, rapid advancements have been made in the fields of lipidomics and bioinformatics. In comparison with traditional approaches, mass spectrometry-based lipidomics can rapidly identify as well as quantify >1,000 lipid species at the same time, facilitating comprehensive, robust analyses of lipids in tissues, cells, and body fluids. Accordingly, lipidomics is now being widely applied in various fields, particularly food and nutrition science. In this review, we discuss lipid classification, extraction techniques, and detection and analysis using lipidomics. We also cover how lipidomics is being used to assess food obtained from livestock and poultry. The information included herein should serve as a reference to determine how to characterize lipids in animal food samples, enhancing our understanding of the application of lipidomics in the field in animal husbandry.
Effect of Short-Time Carburizing Treatment on Microstructure and Mechanical Properties of M50 Steel
Yinghua Wei,Xingfu Yu,Shuai Wang,Xiangyang Shen,Wenzeng Zhao,Yong Su,Yu Yang,Xiaochuan Feng 대한금속·재료학회 2023 METALS AND MATERIALS International Vol.29 No.6
By using scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), X-Ray diffraction (XRD), and hardnessand rotational bending fatigue tests, the effect of short-time carburizing treatment on the microstructure and mechanicalproperties of bearing steel was studied. The results show that when the M50 steel is not carburized, the hardness is 750 HV,the rotational bending fatigue limit is 1100 MPa, and the impact absorption energy is 15.46 J. After short-time carburizationwith the carbon potential of 0.6%, the maximum hardness in the carburized area, the rotational bending fatigue limitand the impact absorption energy are all increased to be 807.7 HV, 1210 MPa and 16.72 J respectively. When the carbonpotential is further enhanced to be 0.8%, the maximum hardness of the carburized area of the steel is further enhanced to be813.4 HV, but the rotational bending fatigue strength and the impact absorption energy are both decreased to be 1125 MPaand 13.65 J respectively, which has close relations with the increasement of undissolved carbides and the precipitation ofacicular carbides.
Interference Cancellation Scheme for Three-hop Cooperative Relay Networks
( Yinghua Zhang ),( Lei Wang ),( Jian Liu ),( Yunfeng Peng ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2019 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.13 No.9
In this paper, we focus on interference cancellation for three-hop cognitive radio networks (CRNs) over Rayleigh fading channels. In CRNs, secondary users (SUs) are allowed to opportunistically utilize the licensed spectrum during the idle time of primary users (PUs) to achieve spectrum sharing. However, the SUs maybe power constrained to avoid interference and cover a very short transmission range. We here propose an interference cancellation scheme (ICS) for three-hop CRNs to prolong the transmission range of SUs and improve their transmission efficiency. In the proposed scheme, a flexible transmission protocol is adopted to cancel the interference at both secondary relays and destinations at the same time. And a closed-form expression for the secondary outage probability over Rayleigh fading channels is derived to measure the system performance. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can significantly reduce the secondary outage probability and increase the secondary diversity in comparison with the traditional cases.
EXISTENCE AND MULTIPLICITY RESULTS FOR SOME FOURTH ORDER SEMILINEAR ELLIPTIC PROBLEMS
Jin, Yinghua,Wang, Xuechun The Kangwon-Kyungki Mathematical Society 2009 한국수학논문집 Vol.17 No.4
We prove the existence and multiplicity of nontrivial solutions for a fourth order problem ${\Delta}^2u+c{\Delta}u={\alpha}u-{\beta}(u+1)^-$ in ${\Omega}$, ${\Delta}u=0$ and $u=0$ on ${\partial}{\Omega}$, where ${\lambda}_1{\leq}c{\leq}{\lambda}_2$ (where $({\lambda}_i)_{i{\geq}1}$ is the sequence of the eigenvalues of $-{\Delta}$ in$H_0^1({\Omega})$) and ${\Omega}$ is a bounded open set in $R^N$ with smooth boundary ${\partial}{\Omega}$. The results are proved by applying minimax arguments and linking theory.
EXISTENCE OF NONTRIVIAL SOLUTIONS OF A NONLINEAR BIHARMONIC EQUATION
Jin, Yinghua,Choi, Q-Heung,Wang, Xuechun The Kangwon-Kyungki Mathematical Society 2009 한국수학논문집 Vol.17 No.4
We consider the existence of solutions of a nonlinear biharmonic equation with Dirichlet boundary condition, ${\Delta}^2u+c{\Delta}u=f(x, u)$ in ${\Omega}$, where ${\Omega}$ is a bounded open set in $R^N$ with smooth boundary ${\partial}{\Omega}$. We obtain two new results by linking theorem.

In this paper, we propose a joint adaptive combining and variable tap-length multiuser detector (MUD) for amplify-and-forward (AF) underwater acoustic cooperative interleave-division multiple access (IDMA) communication system. The proposed MUD jointly realizes tap-length adjustment, adaptive combining, and multiuser detection. In contrast to the existing methods, the proposed detector can adaptively combine the received signals from different nodes at destination, and does not need the assumption that full and perfect channel state information (CSI) of all the links at the receiver is known. Moreover, the proposed detector can adaptively adjust the tap coefficient vector and tap-length of each branch according to the specific channel profile of each branch. Simulation results validate the feasibility and show the advantages of the proposed detector against existing counterparts.
