Effect of Sophora flavescens on the pharmacokinetics of carbamazepine in rats

        Lei Shi,Xue-Liang Dang,Xin-You Liu,Hua-Mei Wei,Meng-Meng Yang,Yan Zhang 대한약학회 2014 Archives of Pharmacal Research Vol.37 No.12

Carbamazepine (CBZ), an antiepilepticwith narrow therapeutic window, is a substrate ofCYP 3A4 which metabolizes CBZ to carbamazepine-10,11-epoxide (CBZE). CBZE is an active and toxicitymetabolite, and it is a substrate of MRP-2. UsingCBZ for a long time can cause hepatic injury. Sophora flavescens (SF) is a medicinal herb used forthe protected hepatic injury. This study investigatedthe acute and chronic effects of SF on the pharmacokineticsof CBZ in rats. The concentrations of CBZand CBZE in plasma and tissues were determined byHPLC method. The results showed that SF whichsignificantly decreased the AUC0-t of CBZ, increasedCBZE conversely. Tissue analysis showed that theconcentrations of CBZ and CBZE in brain and liverwere decreased by SF. In addition, the distribution ofCBZE in kidney was reduced significantly, whichinfluenced the CBZE excretion and increased the drugtoxic potentially. Results in the current study suggestthat patients using CBZ might be cautioned in the useof SF extract or Sophora-derived products. Meanwhile, patients receiving drugs which are substrates ofCYP 3A4 and/or MRP-2 should be advised of thepotential herb–drug interaction to reduce the risk oftherapeutic failure or increased toxicity of conventionaldrug therapy.

A Discrete State-Space Control Scheme for Dynamic Voltage Restorers

Lei, He,Lin, Xin-Chun,Xue, Ming-Yu,Kang, Yong The Korean Institute of Power Electronics 2013 JOURNAL OF POWER ELECTRONICS Vol.13 No.3

This paper presents a discrete state-space controller using state feedback control and feed-forward decoupling to provide a desirable control bandwidth and control stability for dynamic voltage restorers (DVR). The paper initially discusses three typical applications of a DVR. The load-side capacitor DVR topology is preferred because of its better filtering capability. The proposed DVR controller offers almost full controllability because of the multi-feedback of state variables, including one-beat delay feedback. Feed-forward decoupling is usually employed to prevent disturbances of the load current and source voltage. Directly obtaining the feed-forward paths of the load current and source voltage in the discrete domain is a complicated process. Fortunately, the full feed-forward decoupling strategy can be easily applied to the discrete state-space controller by means of continuous transformation. Simulation and experimental results from a digital signal processor-based system are included to support theoretical analysis.

Energy-efficient Power Allocation based on worst-case performance optimization under channel uncertainties

( Xin Song Li Dong ),( Xue Huang Lei Qin ),( Xiuwei Han ) 한국인터넷정보학회 2020 KSII Transactions on Internet and Information Syst Vol.14 No.11

In the practical communication environment, the accurate channel state information (CSI) is difficult to obtain, which will cause the mismatch of resource and degrade the system performance. In this paper, to account for the channel uncertainties, a robust power allocation scheme for a downlink Non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) heterogeneous network (HetNet) is designed to maximize energy efficiency (EE), which can ensure the quality of service (QoS) of users. We conduct the robust optimization model based on worse-case method, in which the channel gains belong to certain ellipsoid sets. To solve the non-convex non-liner optimization , we transform the optimization problem via Dinkelbach method and sequential convex programming, and the power allocation of small cell users (SCUs) is achieved by Lagrange dual approach. Finally, we analysis the convergence performance of proposed scheme. The simulation results demonstrate that the proposed algorithm can improve total EE of SCUs, and has a fast convergence performance.

        Xue Fei,Ma Xin,Li Hongqiang,Zhang Di,Xu Hengshan,Zhou Lei,Wang Chao 대한전기학회 2022 Journal of Electrical Engineering & Technology Vol.17 No.4

On-board charger (OBC) is key part of electric vehicles. Limited to space and weight, design objectives of OBC are high power-density and high effi ciency. Two-stage circuit is commonly used for 3.3 kW OBC, interleaved power factor correction (ILPFC) is utilized for power factor correction and DC bus voltage regulation, LLC resonant converter is utilized for voltage and power regulations. In this paper, the relationships between the internal parameters and effi ciency of ILPFC are studied by discrete iterative method, and the internal parameters are optimized to improve ILPFC`s effi ciency. Meanwhile, the relationships between the resonant parameters and effi ciency of LLC converter are also studied by fundamental harmonic approximation method to optimize the effi ciency in wide charging voltage. A 3.3 kW OBC prototype is developed to verify the eff ectiveness and correctness of the optimal method, the power factor and total harmonic distortion at full-load state are about 99.99% and 2.98% with the charging voltage ranging from 230 to 430 V, respectively

Paint Removal of Airplane & Water Jet Application

Xue, Sheng-Xiong,Chen, Zheng-Wen,Ren, Qi-Le,Su, Ji-Xin,Han, Cai-Hong,Pang, lei Korean Society for Fluid machinery 2014 International journal of fluid machinery and syste Vol.7 No.3

The paint removal and recoating are the very important process in airplane maintenance. The traditional technology is to use the chemical way corroding the paint with paint remover. For changing the defects, corrosion & pollution & manual working, of the traditional technology, the physical process which removes the paint of airplane with 250MPa/250kW ultra-high pressure rotary water jetting though the surface cleaner installed on the six axes robot is studied. The paint layer of airplane is very thin and close. The contradiction of water jetting paint removal is to remove the paint layer wholly and not damage the surface of airplane. In order to solve the contradiction, the best working condition must be reached through tests. The paint removal efficiency with ultra-high pressure and move speed of not damaged to the surface. The move speed of this test is about 2m/min, and the paint removal efficiency is about $30{\sim}40m^2/h$, and the paint removal active area is 85-90%. No-repeat and no-omit are the base requests of the robot program. The physical paint removal technology will be applied in airplane maintenance, and will face the safety detection of application permission.

      • SERS study of surface plasmon resonance induced carrier movement in Au@Cu2O core-shell nanoparticles

        Chen, Lei,Zhang, Fan,Deng, Xin-Yu,Xue, Xiangxin,Wang, Li,Sun, Yantao,Feng, Jing-Dong,Zhang, Yongjun,Wang, Yaxin,Jung, Young Mee Elsevier 2018 Spectrochimica acta. Part A, Molecular and biomole Vol.189 No.-

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A plasmon induced carrier movement enhanced mechanism of surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SERS) was investigated using a charge-transfer (CT) enhancement mechanism. Here, we designed a strategy to study SERS in Au@Cu2O nanoshell nanoparticles with different shell thicknesses. Among the plasmonically coupled nanostructures, Au spheres with Cu2O shells have been of special interest due to their ultrastrong electromagnetic fields and controllable carrier transfer properties, which are useful for SERS. Au@Cu2O nanoshell nanoparticles (NPs) with shell thicknesses of 48–56nm are synthesized that exhibit high SERS activity. This high activity originates from plasmonic-induced carrier transfer from Au@Cu2O to 4-mercaptobenzoic acid (MBA). The CT transition from the valence band (VB) of Cu2O to the second excited π-π* transition of MBA, and is of b2 electronic symmetry, which was enhanced significantly. The Herzberg-Teller selection rules were employed to predict the observed enhanced b2 symmetry modes. The system constructed in this study combines the long-range electromagnetic effect of Au NPs, localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR) of the Au@Cu2O nanoshell, and the CT contribution to assist in understanding the SERS mechanism based on LSPR-induced carrier movement in metal/semiconductor nanocomposites.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> We designed a shell-dependent Au@Cu2O nanoshell for SERS study. </LI> <LI> SERS contribution enables us to understand the possible enhancement of hybrid nanostructures. </LI> <LI> LSPR-induced carrier movement in Au@Cu2O nanocomposites. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical Abstract</B></P> <P>We designed the shell-dependent Au@Cu2O core-shell nanoparticles (NPs) for SERS study. Experiment and bearing capacity analyses of dual-lintel column joints in Chinese traditional style buildings

        Jian-yang Xue,Linlin Ma,Zhanjing Wu,Lei Zhai,Xin Zhang 국제구조공학회 2018 Steel and Composite Structures, An International J Vol.28 No.5

This paper presents experiment and bearing capacity analyses of steel dual-lintel column (SDC) joints in Chinese traditional style buildings. Two SDC interior joints and two SDC exterior joints, which consisted of dual box-section lintels, circular column and square column, were designed and tested under low cyclic loading. The force transferring mechanisms at the panel zone of SDC joints were proposed. And also, the load-strain curves at the panel zone, failure modes, hysteretic loops and skeleton curves of the joints were analyzed. It is shown that the typical failure modes of the joints are shear buckling at bottom panel zone, bending failure at middle panel zone, welds fracturing at the panel zone, and tension failure of base metal in the heat-affected zone of the joints. The ultimate bearing capacity of SDC joints appears to decrease with the increment of axial compression ratio. However, the bearing capacities of exterior joints are lower than those of interior joints at the same axial compression ratio. In order to predict the formulas of the bending capacity at the middle panel zone and the shear capacity at the bottom panel zone, the calculation model and the stress state of the element at the panel zone of SDC joints were studied. As the calculated values showed good agreements with the test results, the proposed formulas can be reliably applied to the analysis and design of SDC joints in Chinese traditional style buildings.

Anti-Inflammatory Effect of Rosa rugosa Flower Extract in Lipopolysaccharide-Stimulated RAW264.7 Macrophages

        ( Xirali Tursun ),( Yong Xin Zhao ),( Zulfiya Talat ),( Xue Lei Xin ),( Adilatursun ),( Rahima Abdulla ),( Haji Akberaisa ) 한국응용약물학회 2016 Biomolecules & Therapeutics(구 응용약물학회지) Vol.24 No.2

Rosa rugosa Thunb, a deciduous shrub of the genus Rosa, has been widely used to treat stomach aches, diarrhoea, pain, and chronic inflammatory disease in eastern Asia. In recent years, our research team has extensively studied the Rosa rugosa flower extract, and specifically undertook pharmacological experiments which have optimized the extraction process. Our methods have yielded a standard extract enriched in phenolic compounds, named PRE. Herein, we expand our efforts and evaluated the antiinflammatory activity of PRE on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced inflammation in RAW 264.7 macrophages. PRE significantly inhibited production of nitric oxide (NO), prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), tumor necrosis factor (TNF)-α, interleukin (IL)-6, and interleukin 1β (IL-1β), as well as expression of their synthesizing enzymes, inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS) and cyclooxygenase2 (COX-2). Furthermore, PRE inhibited activity of mitogen-activated protein kinases (MAPK) as well as nuclear factor-kappa B (NF-κB) signaling pathway. Our findings are the first to explain the anti-inflammatory mechanism by PRE in LPS-stimulated macrophages. Given these results, we propose that PRE has therapeutic potential in the prevention of inflammatory disorders.

      • Trend-GRU Model based Time Series Data Prediction in Melt Transport Process

        Dongqi Zhao,Kuangrong Hao,Lei Chen,Bing Wei,Xue-Song Tang,Xin Cai,Lihong Ren 제어로봇시스템학회 2019 제어로봇시스템학회 국제학술대회 논문집 Vol.2019 No.10

Temperature and pressure are two important performance indicators during the melt transport of polyester fiber production, which can affect the overall properties of the melt. Therefore, the accurate prediction of these two indicators is crucial for the control of melt properties. This paper proposes a data prediction model, Trend-GRU (Gated Recurrent Unit), which can extract the feature of unstable change of the melt data. On the premise that the model is not over-complicated, a new structure is designed to extract the feature of unstable change to improve the prediction accuracy. Two data sets on temperature and pressure collected from the actual production process of a spinning factory are used for comparative experiments. The results show that the accuracy of the data prediction of the proposed model is better than the original one.
