      • A Study on the Effect of Brand Globalness and Green National Image on Customer Satisfaction and Repurchase Intentions based on the Effect of Green Marketing - Chinese Consumers

        In the recent years while the globalization process continues in its full speed across the world, aforementioned environmental problems have started to come to the agenda more and more then people have started to probe into these negativities. Consumers have worry about the future of the world, as results mostly prefer environment-friendly products. In order to cater to these attitudes of consumers, companies have started to considering the environment problem and form their marketing strategies so as to work in with the increasing green awareness all over the world. We should find out how importance the green marketing can be influenced the consumers decision then prove the relation with green marketing, brand globalness, brand image and they will influenced the consumer’s satisfaction and repurchase intentions of Chinese consumer. In order to find out the difference of Chinese consumer between with high green consciousness and low green consciousness this thesis divided consumers to 2 groups. This thesis will also make Demographic characteristics analysis, reliability analysis, feasibility analysis and especially hypothesis verification for twice for finding the difference between high green consciousness consumer and low green consciousness consumer’s attitude on enterprise’s green marketing. This paper is expected to make a contribution to the enterprise who want to increase the ability of green marketing to get a direct strategy on Chinese consumers.

        Anisotropic In-plane Resistivity and Magnetoresistance of the Detwinned BaFe2As2

        We have measured the electrical resistivity and the magnetoresistance of detwinned BaFe2As2single crystals in fields up to 16 Tesla. The temperature dependence of the resistivity shows acounterintuitive anisotropic behavior in the ab-plane, likely arising from the effect of the nematicsusceptibility. Little magnetoresistance is observed at temperatures above the structural/magnetictransition, below which a huge in-plane magnetoresistance with an anisotropy is detected.

        Numerical investigations on cavitating flows with thermodynamic effects in a diffuser-type centrifugal pump

        A cavitation model with thermodynamic effects for cavitating flows in a diffuser-type centrifugal pump is developed based on the bubble two-phase flow model. The proposed cavitation model includes mass, momentum, and energy transportations according to the thermodynamic mechanism of cavitation. Numerical simulations are conducted inside the entire passage of the centrifugal pump by using the proposed cavitation model and the renormalization group-based k −ε turbulent model coupled with the energy transportation equation. By using the commercial computational fluid dynamics software FLUENT 6.3, we have shown that the predicted performance characteristics of the pump, as well as the pressure, vapor, and density distributions in the impeller, agree well with that calculated by the full cavitation model. Simulation results show that cavitation initially occurs slightly behind the inlet of the blade suction surface, i.e., the area with maximum vapor concentration and minimum pressure. The predicted temperature field shows that the reduction in temperature restrains the growth of cavitating bubbles. Therefore, the thermodynamic effect should be treated as a necessary factor in cavitation models. Comparison results validate the efficiency and accuracy of the numerical technique in simulating cavitation flows in centrifugal pumps.

      • Prognosis of Eight Chinese Cases of Primary Vaginal Yolk Sac Tumor with a Review of the Literature

        Background: Primary vaginal yolk sac tumor is a rare malignancy in the pediatric population, and a diagnostic challenge and appropriate initial treatment remains unsolved. The aim of this study was to investigate the clinicopathologic features, treatment and prognosis of this tumor. Materials and Methods: Eight cases of primary vaginal yolk sac tumor were reported with a literature review. Results: There were 4 pure yolk sac tumor cases and four mixed germ cell tumors containing yolk sac tumor element, including two cases with embryonal carcinoma and two cases with embryonal carcinoma and dysgerminoma. Partial vaginectomy was performed in four cases and all patients received chemotherapy. 85 cases in literatures were reviewed and 9 cases were misdiagnosed. Follow-up data was available in 77 cases and 5-year overall survival rate was 87.6%. 5-year survival rate of biopsy with chemotherapy, conservative surgery with chemotherapy and radical surgery with chemotherapy was 91.1%, 100% and 28.6%, respectively (p<0.001). Compared to cases without relapse or metastasis after initial treatment, patients with relapse or metastasis had a shorter overall survival (35.6% vs 96.6%, p<0.001). Conclusions: Mixed germ cell tumor containing yolk sac tumor element was not uncommon and partial vaginectomy may be a good choice for primary vaginal mixed yolk sac tumor type to eradicate local tumor cells and provide complete information for pathological diagnosis and postoperative adjuvant therapy.

        Impact of Dissection after Drug-Coated Balloon Treatment of De Novo Coronary Lesions: Angiographic and Clinical Outcomes

        Purpose: Dissection after plain balloon angioplasty is required to achieve adequate luminal area; however, it is associated with ahigh risk of vascular events. This study aimed to examine the relationship between non-flow limiting coronary dissections andsubsequent lumen loss and long-term clinical outcomes following successful drug-coated balloon (DCB) treatment of de novocoronary lesions. Materials and Methods: A total of 227 patients with good distal flow (Thrombolysis in Myocardial Infarction flow grade 3) followingDCB treatment were retrospectively enrolled and stratified according to the presence or absence of a non-flow limiting dissection. The primary endpoint was late lumen loss (LLL) at 6-month angiography, and the secondary endpoint was target vesselfailure (TVF, a composite of cardiac death, target vessel myocardial infarction, target vessel revascularization, and target vesselthrombosis). Results: The cohort consisted of 95 patients with and 132 patients without a dissection. There were no between-group differencesin LLL (90.8%) returning for angiography at 6 months (0.05±0.19 mm in non-dissection and 0.05±0.30 mm in dissection group, p=0.886) or in TVF (6.8% in non-dissection and 8.4% in dissection group, p=0.799) at a median follow-up of 3.4 years. In a multivariateanalysis, the presence of dissection and its severity were not associated with LLL or TVF. Almost dissections (93.9%) were completelyhealed, and there was no newly developed dissection at 6-month angiography. Conclusion: The presence of a dissection following successful DCB treatment of a de novo coronary lesion may not be associatedwith an increased risk of LLL or TVF (Impact of Drug-coated Balloon Treatment in de Novo Coronary Lesion; NCT04619277).

      • Curcumol Induces Apoptosis in SPC-A-1 Human Lung Adenocarcinoma Cells and Displays Anti-neoplastic Effects in Tumor Bearing Mice

        Curcumol is a sesquiterpene originally isolated from curcuma rhizomes, a component of herbal remedies commonly used in oriental medicine. Its beneficial pharmacological activities have attract significant interest recently. In this study, anti-cancer activity of curcumol was examined with both in vitro and in vivo models. It was found that curcumol exhibited time- and concentration-dependent anti-proliferative effects in SPC-A-1 human lung adenocarcinoma cells with cell cycle arrest in the G0/G1 phase while apoptosis-induction was also confirmed with flow cytometry and morphological analyses. Interestingly, curcumol did not display growth inhibition in MRC-5 human embryonic lung fibroblasts, suggesting the anti-proliferative effects of curcumol were specific to cancer cells. Anti-neoplastic effects of curcumol were also confirmed in tumor bearing mice. Curcumol (60 mg/ kg daily) significantly reduced tumor size without causing notable toxicity. In conclusion, curcumol appears a favorable anti-cancer candidate for further development.

      • Highly conducting multilayer films from graphene nanosheets by a spin self-assembly method

        <P>This article reports a simple, versatile approach to the fabrication of high conducting multilayer films composed of alternating graphene (G) nanosheets and poly(sodium 4-styrenesulfonate) (PSS) using an electrostatic spin self-assembly technique. G nanosheets were prepared from natural graphite by oxidization, expansion, exfoliation, reduction and modification with cationic surfactant cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (C<SUB>16</SUB>TAB) and anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS). The growth process of the (PSS/G<SUB>+</SUB>/G<SUB>−</SUB>)<SUB><I>n</I></SUB> multilayer films was characterized by UV-vis spectroscopy. Absorbance plotted against the number of bilayers exhibited a linear dependence, indicating a progressive and uniform deposition process of the multilayer films. Higher rotation speeds (<I>ω</I>) can be used to fabricate thinner films, and the G content is in direct proportion to <I>ω</I><SUP>−1/2</SUP>. The prepared (PSS/G<SUB>+</SUB>/G<SUB>−</SUB>)<SUB><I>n</I></SUB> multilayer films exhibit an attractive electrical conductivity in the range of 80–110 S cm<SUP>−1</SUP>. When the film thickness overcomes the effect of surface roughness and film morphology, a percolation effect is observed at the percolation threshold. The effects of the number of bilayers on the electrical properties of the ultrathin films are investigated in detail. The results show that the conductivity and percolation threshold can be controlled by adjusting the PSS/G<SUB>+</SUB>/G<SUB>−</SUB> ratio, rotation speed, and size of G nanosheets.</P> <P>Graphic Abstract</P><P>The conductivity and percolation threshold of the conducting multilayer films can be controlled by spin speed and number of bilayers. <IMG SRC='http://pubs.rsc.org/services/images/RSCpubs.ePlatform.Service.FreeContent.ImageService.svc/ImageService/image/GA?id=c0jm04055j'> </P>
