        Enhancing EFL Learners’ English Reading Performance through the Diagnostic Feedback of CDA

        Cognitive Diagnostic Assessment (CDA) enhances the value of assessments by accurately diagnosing learners’ strengths and weaknesses in specific fields. It provides an invaluable opportunity for individualized teaching and targeted remediation. The primary objective of this paper is to enhance the reading section of the College English Test Band Four (CET-4) in China by incorporating the G-DINA cognitive diagnostic model and proposing a comprehensive teaching framework to effectively address students’ weaknesses. To achieve this objective, diagnostic information is obtained using the G-DINA cognitive diagnostic model, specifically from the reading section of CET-4. In order to integrate the diagnostic information into the classroom setting, a novel strategy instruction framework is proposed. To assess its effectiveness, a comparative teaching experiment is conducted. The findings of the study highlight that the reading section of CET-4 serves as a powerful tool for identifying learners’ weaknesses in reading. Furthermore, the proposed framework demonstrates significant improvements in students’ reading performance. These compelling results indicate that CDA outperforms other traditional assessment methods, showcasing its superior instructive nature. Based on these insightful findings, this study suggests the adoption of CDA as a more comprehensive and impactful approach to assessment, as it not only diagnoses learners’ strengths and weaknesses but also provides valuable insights for personalized instruction and targeted remediation.

        Quantitative characterization and magnetic separation of copper pyrometallurgical tailing for molybdenum and copper pre-concentration and cleaning of environmentally hazardous elements

        The comprehensive and harmless utilization of copper slag flotation tailing (CSFT) is the key to a wastefreeand sustainable copper industry. Here, the mineralogy and molybdenum micro-dissemination inCSFT were quantified and characterized, and the feasibility of the comprehensive recovery of Mo, Cuand Fe resources from CSFT and hazardous elements fractionation behavior by magnetic separationwas discussed. To investigate the occurrence and abundance of Mo in each phase, CSFT was classified intofour types of phases, including magnetite/hematite (27.26%), silicate associations (43.37%), and metallicsulphides and oxides. Molybdenum distribution is closely related to magnetite/hematite-Fe and S. Themagnetic separation results indicated that Mo and Cu were enhanced in magnetic products by 34–41and 15–21%, respectively. Cleaner non-magnetic residues were found to decrease significantly by 37–44, 58–60, and 11–19% for Cu, As, and Cr, respectively. Mineral fractionation was observed instead ofchemical changes during magnetic separation. Despite a weak separation effect on magnetic and nonmagneticphases due to their close bonds and fine-disseminated minerals, the Fe-silicate associationswithout magnetic phases were well separated into non-magnetic residues. The enrichment of Ca, Mgand separation of an iron-silicate component in non-magnetic residues enhanced the cementitious propertyand allowed the development of more pathways of reutilization.

        One-pot synthesis of high fructose corn syrup directly from starch with SO42−/USY solid catalyst

        An efficient process was developed for the conversion of starch directly into high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) by using SO4 2−/USY solid catalyst in water. The SO4 2−/USY catalyst was found to act as a bifunctional catalyst with high activity for both hydrolysis of starch and isomerization of glucose, achieving a one-step preparation path of HFCS from starch. An optimal HFCS yield, containing 58.34% glucose and 27.84% fructose (mass fraction), was obtained at 150 oC for only 1 h.

        CCAJS: A Novel Connect Coverage Algorithm Based on Joint Sensing Model for Wireless Sensor Networks

        This paper discusses how to effectively guarantee the coverage and connectivity quality of wireless sensor networks when joint perception model is used for the nodes whose communication ranges are multi-level adjustable in the absence of position information. A Connect Coverage Algorithm Based on Joint Sensing model (CCAJS) is proposed, with which least working nodes are chosen based on probability model ensuring the coverage quality of the network. The algorithm can balance the position distribution of selected working nodes as far as possible, as well as reduce the overall energy consumption of the whole network. The simulation results show that, less working nodes are needed to ensure the coverage quality of networks using joint perception model than using the binary perception model. CCAJS can not only satisfy expected coverage quality and connectivity, but also decrease the energy consumption, thereby prolonging the network lifetime.

      • Perovskite and Conjugated Polymer Wrapped Semiconducting Carbon Nanotube Hybrid Films for High-Performance Transistors and Phototransistors

        <P>Although organic-inorganic halide perovskites continue to generate considerable interest due to great potentials for various optoelectronic devices, there are some critical obstacles to practical applications, including lead toxicity, relatively low field-effect mobility, and strong hysteresis during operation. This paper proposes a universal approach to significantly improve mobility and operational stability with reduced dual-sweep hysteresis for perovskite-based thin film transistors (TFTs) by coupling low-dimensional lead-free perovskite material (C<SUB>6</SUB>H<SUB>5</SUB>C<SUB>2</SUB>H<SUB>4</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>)<SUB>2</SUB>SnI<SUB>4</SUB> (hereafter abbreviated as (PEA)<SUB>2</SUB>SnI<SUB>4</SUB>) with embedded conjugated polymer wrapped semiconducting carbon nanotubes (semi-CNTs). In (PEA)<SUB>2</SUB>SnI<SUB>4</SUB>/semi-CNT hybrid TFTs, semi-CNTs can provide highway-like transport paths, enabling smoother carrier transport with less trapping and scattering. We also demonstrate the performance of (PEA)<SUB>2</SUB>SnI<SUB>4</SUB>/semi-CNT hybrid phototransistors with ultrahigh photoresponsivity (<I>R</I>) of 6.3 × 10<SUP>4</SUP> A/W and detectivity (<I>D*</I>) of 1.12 × 10<SUP>17</SUP> Jones, which is about 2 or 3 orders of magnitude higher than that of the best devices available to date. The results indicate promising potentials for solution-processed perovskite/semi-CNT hybrid platforms, and the developed strategy can be applied for high-performance perovskite nanomaterial optoelectronics.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

        EBKCCA: A Novel Energy Balanced k-Coverage Control Algorithm Based on Probability Model in Wireless Sensor Networks

        In the process of k-coverage of the target node, there will be a lot of data redundancy forcing the phenomenon of congestion which reduces network communication capability and coverage, and accelerates network energy consumption. Therefore, this paper proposes a novel energy balanced k-coverage control algorithm based on probability model (EBKCCA). The algorithm constructs the coverage network model by using the positional relationship between the nodes. By analyzing the network model, the coverage expected value of nodes and the minimum number of nodes in the monitoring area are given. In terms of energy consumption, this paper gives the proportion of energy conversion functions between working nodes and neighboring nodes. By using the function proportional to schedule low energy nodes, we achieve the energy balance of the whole network and optimizing network resources. The last simulation experiments indicate that this algorithm can not only improve the quality of network coverage, but also completely inhibit the rapid energy consumption of node, and extend the network lifetime.

        Serum microRNA-381: A Potential Marker for Early Diagnosis of Gastric Cancer

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the potential early diagnostic value of serum microRNA-381(miRNA-381) inpatients with gastric cancer (GC). Materials and Methods: Patients with advanced gastric cancer (AGC) and early gastric cancer (EGC), as well as healthy individuals,were enrolled in this study. Expression of miRNA-381 in serum was detected using real-time quantitative PCR. Electrochemiluminescenceanalysis was used to investigate the expression of classic tumor markers, including carbohydrate antigen (CA) 199,CA724, and carcinoembryonic antigen. Finally, receiver operating characteristic curve and Kaplan-Meier analysis were used todetermine the value of miRNA-381 in clinical diagnosis of GC. Results: miRNA-381 was differentially expressed among the study groups. AUC analysis showed that the sensitivity and specificityof serum miRNA-381 in the diagnosis of GC were superior to those of other tumor markers. Furthermore, low levels of miRNA-381 expression were positively correlated with lymph node metastasis and AGC. Finally, Kaplan-Meier survival analysisshowed that down-regulation of miRNA-381 was associated with lymph node metastasis and the development of GC. Conclusion: miRNA381, which was down-regulated in GC, might be a novel early diagnosis marker for patients with GC.

      • Research on the Error Detection Technology of Complex Parts based on Improved Bee Colony Algorithm

        For Parts of complex structures with multiple characteristics, traditional methods are often difficult and inefficient, so the three-dimensional detection techniques have been developed. But the detection used for the complex structural components still get some problems, such as : it’s difficult to collect data of complex structural components in the data collection process, because of size is always limited ; features of parts retained difficultly in data processing; there are many iterations and calculations in the optimization algorithm of geometric error evaluation, and the search direction is blind. In this paper, the improved colony algorithm is used to get the cylindrical error by establishing the mathematical model with the point cloud data that has been processed. First, collect data acquisition of more structural parts with hand-held laser scanners; Secondly, denoise and streamline the raw point cloud collected before, and then make registration and alignment with the actual CAD model of part; Finally, according to the resultant point cloud data above, in accordance with the principle of minimum condition assessment, establish evaluation model of cylinder error based on improved bee colony algorithm. Experimental results show that for various structural parts, the precision of this detection method is high enough, and detecting speed is also fast.
