Interleukin-21 (IL-21)+CD4+ T cells are involved in the immune response against hepatitis B virus (HBV) by secreting IL-21. However, the role of IL-21+CD4+ T cells in the immune response against chronic hepatitis C (CHC) virus infection is poorly understood. This study aimed to investigate the role of IL-21+CD4+ T cells in CHC patients and the potential mechanisms. The study subjects in-cluded nineteen CHC patients who were grouped by viral load (low, < 106 RNA copies/ml, n = 8; high, > 106 RNA copies/ml, n = 11). The peripheral frequency of HCV-specific IL-21+CD4+ T cells was higher in the low viral load group and was negatively correlated with the serum HCV RNA viral load in all CHC patients. Meanwhile, IL-21+ cells accumulated in the liver in the low viral load group. In vitro, IL-21 treatment increased the expression of proliferation markers and cytolytic molecules on HCV-specific CD8+ T cells. In summary, these findings suggest that HCV-specific IL-21+CD4+ T cells might contribute to HCV control by rescuing HCV-specific CD8+ T cells in CHC patients.
EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON SPONGE ALUMINUM ALLOY BY SUCTION CASTING PROCESS
Hua, Hua, Xiang,Wu, Wu, Binyao,Yan, Yan, Xiaolong 한국재료학회 1995 Fabrication and Characterization of Advanced Mater Vol.1 No.2
Spomge metal with 3-dimensionally interconnected fine pores is a kind of functional material used in the areas of shock attenuation, noise elimination, filtration, decoration, fire-proof, etc. Currently most of them are produced by penetrating casting process, limited shaping size due to its penetrating resistance and difficulties in controlling it's complicated procedure are two main problems. Using soulble granules as fillings, applying the suction casting method with self-made devices, the effect of preheating temperature of granules, pouring temperature metal and vacuum on the shaping size, porosity and the uniformity of pores at every distinct filling sizes are systematically investigated. Experimental results show tha the preheating temperature of granules is the key fat, while the e pouring temperature of metal and negative pressure are the second at a fixed grain size ; the nearer the preheating temperature of fillings to pouring temperature of the metal, the better the suction casting moulding. For the eurectiv Al-Si alloy, a speong-like cylinder, with the porosity of 70-80%, 200mm in height and 120mm in diameter, can be formed when the temperature of liquid metal gets 750 centigrade and preheating temperature reaches 420 centigrade. The Minimum size of the proes reaches ${\phi}0.05mm$.
A Study of the Efficiency of Futures Research Institutes of China
WU, Guo-Hua,YAO, Tian-Yin,ZHANG, Bao-Ping Korea Distribution Science Association 2020 The Journal of Asian Finance, Economics and Busine Vol.7 No.12
The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of research institutes of futures companies, and to promote the development of futures market and real economy. This study employs DEA-solver software to conduct super-efficiency data envelopment analysis (SE-DEA), and also selects 40 representative futures research institutes in China as decision-making units (DMUs). For data of input and output indicators, we collect from the China Futures Association, Futures Daily, Hexun.com and Webstock.com respectively, and the time duration is the 103 trading days between from October 2019 to February 2020. Then the indicator for the strategy accuracy rate is calculated separately by analyzing the strategies published by each DMUs in public media. In conclusions, most institutes have excessive investment in human resources, and also have insufficient strategy accuracy rate and insufficient published research reports. The findings of this study suggest that Chinese futures companies need to improve the efficiency of research institutes, and better meet the demand of the financial market. In fact, the analysis of the efficiency of the futures company research institute has not been found in the literature worldwide, Application of DEA model in efficiency analysis of securities and futures research institutions and establishment of indicators are the innovations of this paper.
Impulsive Functional Observers for Linear Systems
Wu-Hua Chen,Dan-Xia Li,Xiaomei Lu 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2011 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.9 No.5
The impulsive functional observer design problem for linear systems is addressed. Piecewise differentiable Lyapunov functions are introduced to analyze the stability of the error dynamics. Sufficient conditions for the existence of the impulsive functional observers that are capable of expo-nentially estimating any given function of the state vector are derived. Numerical examples are pre-sented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.
PROGRAMMABLE INDUCTANCE AND CAPACITANCE GENERATOR
Hua, Shang Qing,Hua, Wu Li,Sheng, Qu Yan,Jian, Ma Huai 대한전자공학회 1992 HICEC:Harbin International Conference on Electroni Vol.1 No.1
This paper introduces an impedance converter principle of simulated pure inductance and capacitance by using operational amplifiers, in addition, it provides the circuitry configurations according to this principle. The generator can produce equivalent inductance from 0.1H to 6553500H or equivalent capacitance from 10^(-10) F to 65535 × 10^(-7) by programming control. Its circuit is very simple, this generator can be programmed control conveniently and integrated easily. It especially has certain advantages in simulating large inductance or capacitance and programming control.
Soft Hemirings Related to Fuzzy Set Theory
Wu, Hua-Jun,Zhan, Jianming Department of Mathematics 2012 Kyungpook mathematical journal Vol.52 No.1
In this paper, we investigate soft hemirings by fuzzy theory. Some characterizations of hemirings are introduced by means of soft sets. In particular, the $h$-hemiregular hemirings and $h$-intra-hemiregular hemirings are also characterized.

Background: Previous studies on the association of oral contraceptives (OC) use and lung cancer generated inconsistent findings. The aim of this study was to confirm any definite correlation between OC use and lung cancer risk. Methods: Publications were reviewed and obtained through PubMed and EMBASE databases literature search up to November, 2013. Reference lists from retrieved articles were also reviewed. The language of publication was restricted to English. A meta-analysis was performed to evaluate the association by calculating pooled odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Results: A total of 14 studies consisting of 9 case-control studies and 5 cohort studies were finally included in this meta-analysis. There was no significant association observed between OC use and lung cancer risk in the overall analysis (OR=0.91; 95% CI=0.81-1.03). There was a significant protective effect in Europe (OR=0.74; 95% CI=0.60-0.91) and a borderline significant protective effect with an adenocarcinoma histology (OR=0.90; 95% CI=0.80-1.01) in subgroup analyses. No association was observed for methodological quality of study, study design, smoking status and case number of study. Conclusion: This meta-analysis suggests that OC use is not likely to be associated with the risk of lung cancer at all. While a significant protective effect of OC use on lung cancer was observed in Europe, interpretation should be cautious because of the potential biases of low-quality studies. At the same time, more attention should be paid to the possible association of OC use with adenocarcinoma of lung. Our findings require further research, with well-conducted and large-scale epidemiological studies to confirm effects of OC use on lung cancer.

The aim of this study was to produce caffeic acid derivatives from adventitious root cultures of Echinacea purpurea, which are of high pharmaceutical value. The effects of both media optimization and replenishment strategies were adopted to achieve improved production of E. purpurea adventitious roots and caffeic acid derivatives. Of the different media strengths (0.25 MS, 0.5 MS, 0.75 MS and 1 MS) tested for the culturing of adventitious roots in 5 L bioreactors, 0.5 MS medium was found to be most suitable for the growth of adventitious roots. The optima accumulation of biomass (73.6 g $L^{-1}$ FW and 10.03 g $L^{-1}$ DW), phenolics (61.14 mg $g^{-1}$ DW) and flavonoids (38.30 mg $g^{-1}$ DW) were achieved in this medium. Furthermore, fed batch cultivations (media replenishment with 0.25 MS, 0.5 MS, 0.75 MS and 1 MS at the end of $2^{nd}$ and $3^{rd}$ weeks) to further enhance the production of adventitious root biomass and metabolites were also attempted. High adventitious root biomasses (83.1 g $L^{-1}$ FW and 15.30 g $L^{-1}$ DW) were achieved with feeding of the 0.5 MS medium at the end of $2^{nd}$ week. This led to slight decreases in the total production of phenolics and flavonoids; however, this feeding was responsible for increases in the accumulation of caftaric acid (5.76 mg $g^{-1}$ DW) and cichoric acid (26.12 mg $g^{-1}$ DW).
