李元求,徐洪烈 全北大學校 1991 論文集 Vol.33 No.-
This study was carried out to investigate Korean Conifer Aphids which live on Coniferate. Collections were made through examining foliages and stems of 21 kinds of Coniferae from April, 1987 to June, 1988. As a result of this study, the following 12 species of 3 genera in 2 families were identified. Family Lachnidae * 1. Cinara fresai Blanchard, 1939 * 2. C. juniperi (de Geer, 1773) 3. C. laricicola (Matsumura, 1917) 4. C. laricis (Hartig, 1839) 5. C. louisianensis Boudreaux, 1948 6. C. pinidensiflorae (Essig et Kuwana, 1918) 7. C. piniformosana (Takahashi, 1929) 8. C. tujafilina (Del Guercio, 1909) 9. Eulachnus agilis (Kaltenbach, 1843) *10. E. brevipilosus Bo‥rner, 1940 11. E. thunbergi Wilson, 1919 Family Mindaridae 12. Mindarus japonicus Takahashi, 1931 And of which listed above, 3 species with asterisk are newly recorded from Korea. Because 17 species of 4 genera in 2 familites were known from Korea previously, Conifer Aphids in Korea are summed up 20 species, 4 genera, 2 families at present. In addition, the relationships between Conifer Aphids and host plants were investigated and established.

The genus Maculolachnus Gaumont, 1920 (Sternorrhyncha: Aphididae) has been known poorly in Korea. The alate of Maculolachnus paiki Seo, 1994 is redescribed and illustrated for more taxonomic information. The alate of Maculolachnus paiki Seo, 1994 is similar to Maculolachnus submacula (Walker, 1848), but differs from latter by just 3-4 of secondary rhinaria on antennal segment III. A key to known the alate of the genus Maculolachnus from Korean peninsula is given.

The Ministry of Environment in Korea published 'The Compilation of National List of Indigenous Insect Species of the Korean Peninsula' in 1996 including 11,853 species. The National Institute of Biological Resources (NIBR) originally compiled the national species list of insects to establish a national inventory of endemic biological assets with the joined efforts from all distinguished Korean taxonomists since 2008. For the convenience of scores of professional taxonomic groups participating in the project concurrently, the NIBR has developed the NIBR inventory description method and inventory system from 2008 to 2016. For nine years in this study, the NIBR has established the national insect inventory of 16,558 species including Collembola. The insect fauna of the Korean Peninsula comprises 565 families from 30 orders. The largest orders are Coleoptera (110 families, 4,318 species), Lepidoptera (67 families, 3,733 species), Hymenoptera (61 families, 3,151 species), Hemiptera (88 families, 2,013 species) and Diptera (79 families, 1,944 species). The fractions of the main insect orders in the fauna of the Korean peninsula correspond to those in the Holarctic temperate zone. And totally 13 volumes of national list of insect species in Korea were published.

New record of family of arhynchobdellida leeches (Orobdellidae) from Gageodo Island is presented. We have surveyed for land leeches in Korea from July to September in 2011 and found 1 species. This is Orobdella tsushimensis Nakano, 2011, reported for the first time in Korean Peninsula. This species gets the following characteristics: IV unianulate; 1/2+5 annuli between gonopores; bottle-shaped gastroporal duct; and epididymides in XVII–XIX. According to their morphological features, the diagnosis of O. tsushimensis is slightly emended. Phylogenetic analyses using mitochondrial COI, tRNACys, tRNAMet, 12SrDNA, tRNAVal and 16SrDNA markers show that the Orobdella specimen from Gageodo Isl. and O. tsushimensis from Tsushima Island, Japan, form a monophyletic clade and also confirm the identification of the Orobdella specimens from Gageodo Isl.

The oviparous female and male of Stomaphis betulidahuricae Zhang and Qio, 1999 (Aphidoidea: Lachninae) are described and illustrated in detail for the for the first time. Notes on distribution, biology and host plants are presented. Also, the morphology of the male genitalia are illustrated.

The genus of Cinara (Aphididae: Lachninae) live on the roots, trunk, branches, twigs, shoots or foliage of Coniferae and can be easily distinguished in having the very big body, apterae up to 5-6 ㎜ in length and short antennae which are shorter than half the body length. Most of species are monoecious without host alternation and attended by ants. Based on body appearance and COI gene sequence, we report Cinara cuneomaculata (Del Guercio) on Larix kaempferi, C. largirostris Zhang G. & W. Zhang on Pinus thunbergii and P. dnesiflora, C. smaragdina (Pashtshenko) on Abies holophylla and C. piceae on Juniperus rigida, for the first time in Korea.
