Peak temperature arising during the joining of metals by friction stir welding (FSW) needs to be investigated along with other process parameters of FSW to understand their inevitable impact on joint quality. This investigational and experimental analysis aims to determine the impact of pin geometry and its rotational speed by formulating thermic mechanical process-based models to anticipate peak temperature and to compare it with actual values. Three distinctive pin geometries rotated at three speeds were used while other parameters were unchanged. The fitness and suitability of the model were verified by comparing the anticipated values with the experimental values. Macrographic and micrographic observations revealed that flawless joints with improved mechanical properties were fabricated at a peak temperature of 616 K (80 % melting temperature) when a taper cylindrical pin with a rotational speed of 818 rpm was employed. In addition, SEM analysis of the fractured specimen confirmed that failure of the defect free weldment occurred in brittle mode, indicating that preferred fusion of grains and their constituents occurred during the joining process.

Myofascial pain syndrome (MPS) is one of the common musculoskeletal conditions of the shoulder which may develop sensory-motor and autonomic dysfunctions at the various level of the neuromuscular system. The pain and dysfunction caused by MPS were primarily treated with physical therapy and pharmacological agents in order to achieve painfree movements. However, in recent years intramuscular electrical stimulation (IMES) with conventional electrode placement was used by researchers to maximise therapeutic values. But, in this study an inverse electrode placement was used to deliver electrical impulses intramuscularly to achieve neuro-modulation at the various level of the nervous system. Nine patients with MPS were treated with intramuscular electrode stimulation using inversely placed electrodes for a period of three weeks. All nine subjects recovered from their shoulder pain and disability within the few weeks of intervention. So, this inverse electrode placement may be more appropriate for chronic pain management. IMAGE ENCRYPTION USING NONLINEAR FEEDBACK SHIFT REGISTER AND MODIFIED RC4A ALGORITHM

In the proposed paper, a new algorithm based on Nonlinear Feedback Shift Register (NLFSR) and modified RC4A (Rivest Cipher 4A) cipher is introduced. NLFSR is used for image pixel scrambling while modified RC4A algorithm is used for pixel substitution. NLFSR used in this algorithm is of order 27 with maximum period 2<sup>27-1</sup> which was found using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA), a searching method. Modified RC4A algorithm is the modification of RC4A and is modified by introducing non-linear rotation operator in the Key Scheduling Algorithm (KSA) of RC4A cipher. Analysis of occlusion attack (up to 62.5% pixels), noise (salt and pepper, Poisson) attack and key sensitivity are performed to assess the concreteness of the proposed method. Also, some statistical and security analyses are evaluated on various images of different size to empirically assess the robustness of the proposed scheme.
