        The purpose of this study was to find if degrees of R.I is related to the grade of school work in senior high school boys. 246 senior high school students were selected and tested, for ten months, from May, 19 81 to Februrary, 1982. This study shows that most of senior high school students with good marks in their school work belong to a low and poor group of R.I.

      • Biochemical composition of Neocalanus cristatus(Copepoda; Calanoida) in Oyashio and Kuroshio currents;evidence for southward submergence : 남하침강 증거

        A typical subarctic copepod, Neocokanus cristatus copepodite stage V (CV), of three body types, occurred in the mesopelagic layer (500 to 1000m) of the Kuroshio area and Sagami Bay, central Japan. Three types(opaque type with conspicuous amount of lipids and rigid musculatumre, transparent type with poorly developed musculature and no lipids, and intermediate type with conditions between opaque and transparent types) specimen were collected September 1989 to September 1991 in Sagami Bay, and September 2 to 11, 1991 in the Oyashio current, the confluence of the Oyashio and Kuroshio current, and the Kuroshio current including Sagami Bay. First types (transparent) of N. cristatus CV were distributed from 0 to 500m in the Oyashio current, from 250 to 700m in the confluence of the Oyashio and Kuroshio currents. and from 500 to l000m in Kuroshio current and Sagami Bay. Second types(opaque) CV copepodites(50.0~60.5%) were distributed from 500 to 1000m in the Oyashio current. from 750 to 1000m in the confluence, the Kuroshio current and Sagami Bay. Epipelagic transparent type CV copepodites from the Oyashio current could not attain the adulthood in Sagami Bay. However, the opaque type and some of the third(intermediate) type CV copepodites originating in mesopelagic water of the north did molt to adult. and they also succeeded in spawning in Sagami Bay around November.

      • 충주 지역에서 10년간 급성심근경색의 임상관찰에 대한 연구

        Background: The current treatments of acute myocardial infarct(AMI) Include noninvasive method using thrombolytics and invasive methods such as primary percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty(PTCA) and coronary artery bypass graft(CABG)surgery. Although there are many studies comparing the effectiveness of noninvasive and invasive methods, when large clinical centers, 20% of totar hospitals, were excluded, most middle-sized hospitals lacked personnels and facilities for the invasive methods. Thus they opted for the noninvasive methods. Therefore, in this study, the clinical characteristics of AMI patients and the results of thrombolytic & conservative treatment were observed. Method: 137 patients with acute myocardial infarct, who visited KonKuk University Medical Center, ChoongJu Hospital during Sept. 1990 to Sept. 1999 were analysed retrospectively using medical records. Result: The sexual compositions of patients were 63.5% male, and 36.5% female. The mean age for male patients were 56±12.9, and for female patients 68.7±9.6 (p<0.05). The mean age for female patients was significantly older than male patients. The patients in the thrombolytic treatment group had mortality rate of 6.25% which is lower than that of the conservative treatment group at 12% (p>0.05). Conclusion: Although in our study, small number of acute myocardial infarct patients caused the statistical insignificance, rapid revascularization by thrombolytic therapy within 6 hours of onset of symptoms improved mortality rate and early ambulation. And we had good results on AMI with thrombolytic agent in ChungJu including near rural area as primary emergency hospital. Therefore a prospective research with greater number of subjects is needed to develop better treatments for AMI.

      • 놀래기류에 기생하는 기생성 요각류, Caligus chanos에 관한 연구

        The parasitic copepod. Caligus chanos parasitized on labridae fish around MunSum. Cheju Island, have been basically studied form Sep.. 1996 to Aug.. 1997. Parasitic pattern and water temperatures have a close relationship. which is high in June and low form Feb. to Apr.. Fishes of main hosts were Pseudolabrus japonicus and Pteragogus Ragellifer. Parasitic copepods prefer the body and tail of the host to the head, and prefer adult host to juveniles or older one.

      • ABC에 의한 마케팅 豫算 시스템에 대한 硏究

        Many firms use broad strategic approaches for estimating cash flows that are not closely tied to detailed tactical assumptions about future operations. These forecasts may not be very reliable because cash flow projections of new products can have a 30% to 40% margin of errors. Using ABC for marketing budgeting ,which has been definrd as providing economic information for management decision making. ABC model (with benchmarking)forecasted business processes, activities, revenues, operating costs. The ABC analysis provided an understading of projected business processes and activities that allowed senior management to have more confidence in the detailed tactical ABC forecasts, rather than the initial , broad strategic forecasts. ABC system is not only an accounting system but also a management information system that helps manager gain competitive advantage in strategic decision-making process. And through the analysis of company's activities, every employee would understand the company in terms of process. So, reliability of the company's cost information through ABC system enables organization members to focus on the responsibility accounting system. This pro forma ABC approach also is logical next step for companies currently using ABC and benchmarking to understand existing business processes and activities.

      • 서귀포産 자리돔의 漁獲改善 및 適正利用을 위한 資源生物學的 硏究-1. : 生活週期와 産卵 Life Cycle and Spawning

        제주도의 主要水産生物인 자리돔에 있어서 成長過程, 産卵期, 生活史등의 硏究가 西歸浦沿岸에서 이루어졌다. 生殖巢의 熟度指數 및 組織學的觀察에 의하면, 本種의 産卵盛期는 5월下旬∼8월下旬까지의 3個月間이며 雌雄 모두 體長 60㎜ 以上이면 再生産活動에 參與하나 主産卵群은 體長 70∼90㎜의 個體群이다. 本種의 卵巢內 最大卵 은 0.60∼0.75㎜의 範圍이고 抱卵數는 10,000∼90,000 個程度의 폭넓은 變化를 보였는데, 同一體長의 個體中에서도 體重과 生殖巢重量이 모두 높은 成熟個體일수록 抱卵數가 많은 特性을 나타내고 있었다. 여름철에 産卵된 卵은 부화되어 後期仔魚時期에 이미 表層 가까운 곳으로 浮上하고 빠른 성장을 나타내어 가을철에 體長 40㎜까지 자라고, 겨울철을 넘긴 後 翌年 늦은 봄철이 되면서 成熟하여 再生産에 參與한다. 이들 成魚의 成長速度는 産卵期동안 極히 느리지만 계속적으로 成長한 結果 부화後 2年째 여름철에는 體長이 80㎜ 以上에 달하면서 다시 한번 再生産活動에 參與한 후 死亡한다고 推定된다. 이것은 本種의 壽命이 2年이라는 것을 가리키고 있다. 서귀포沿岸에서 採集된 자리돔의 最大體長 및 體重은 各各 121㎜, 72,68g이었다. Many Chromis notatus(TEMMINCK et SCHLEGEL), one of the most abundant inshore-rocky fish in Jeju Island, have been collected near Seogwipo on the southern part on Jeju province, Korea. These collections have provided some information regarding the growth pattern, life history, and breeding season of this species. On the basis of the gonad index and the histological observation of gonads, it is shown that the main breeding season for this fish is from late May to late August, when most of the males and females are longer than the 60mm standard length(SL) at maturity. The main breeding group of this species is the population within the 70 to 90 mmSL. The long axis of the largest egg ranged from 0.6 to 0.75mm. the fecundity ranged from about 10,000 to 90,000 eggs, indicating a great variation among the number of eggs produced. the number of eggs increased with the females having heavier body and gonad weights. The postlarvae migrated toward the surface water after hatching in summer and grew rapidly to about 40 mmSL until autumn. They maintained constant growth until the following spring when the specimens over 60 mmSL matured during the summer. The growth rate of the mature individuals gradually decreased during the breeding season. However, they eventually grow to over 80 mmSL 2years after hatching. They died after reproducing one more time, indicating that the life span of the species is estimated to be at least 2 years. The maximum standard length and the body weight of this species were 121mm and 72.68g, respectively.

      • 쪽거리 차원을 통한 다공질규소의 미세구조 분석

        p형 단결정 규소 웨이퍼를 불화수소 용액속에서 전류밀도와 양극반응 시간을 변화시켜 다공질규소를 제작하고, 그 질량을 측정한 후 이 값으로부터 다공도와 쪽거리(fractal)차원을 계산하였다. 그 결과 양극반응 시간이 일정한 경우 다공도는 전류밀도에 비례하였다. 그리고 전류밀도가 일정한 경우 여러 양극반응 시간의 데이터로부터 얻은 쪽거리 차원은 일정하였다. 또한 쪽거리 차원은 불화수소의 농도 증가에 따라 감소하였다. 이같은 실험 결과를 퍼짐한계침전(diffusion limited deposition) 모형으로 계산된 2차원 컴퓨터 시늉내기(simulation) 결과와 비교 분석하였다. 시늉내기 결과 다공도는 퍼짐거리에 비례하였으며, 쪽거리 차원은 퍼짐거리와 반비례하였다. 이때 퍼짐거리는 전류밀도에 비례하고 불화수소의 농도에 반비례하는 물리량이므로 정성적으로 실험 결과와 일치하였다. 그러나 쪽거리 차원이 증가함에 따라 다공도가 감소되는 결과는 실험결과와 상반되었다. Porous silicon layers were fabricated with various conditions of HF concentration and current density. And their masses were measured. From these data, the porosity and fractal dimension were estimated and analyzed. We found that the porosity was proportional to the current density when the anodic reaction time was fixed and the constant values of fractal dimension could be estimated from a series of data with fixed HF concentration. The values of fractal dimension were decreased with increasing HF concentration. The obtained porosity and fractal dimension were compared with the 2-dimensional computer simulation based on diffusion limited deposition model. According to the simulation, the porosity was proportional to the diffusion length and the fractal dimension was inversely proportional to the diffusion length. Since, the diffusion length is proportional to current density and inversely proportional to base concentration, our experimental data qualitatively agreed with the results from the simulation. The porosity obtained by experiments, however, was not consistent with the results by simulation.
