Pd-TiO2, Photo catalysis, Water splitting, H2 production, Pd-impregnated TiO2
Sandip A. Sadaphal,Swapnil S. Sonar,Amol H. Kategaonkar,Murlidhar S. Shingare 대한화학회 2009 Bulletin of the Korean Chemical Society Vol.30 No.5
We have demonstrated a one-pot three component coupling of an aldehydes, an amines, and triethyl phosphite using 1-benzyl-3-methyl imidazolium hydrogen sulphate [bnmim][HSO4] as an efficient catalyst. All the reactions proceed under solvent-free conditions at room temperature. This methodology afforded the corresponding α-aminophosphonates in shorter reaction times with excellent yields.
Cloud-Enabled Data Center Organization using K-D Tree
Sandip Roy,Rajesh Bose,Tanaya Roy,Debabrata Sarddar 보안공학연구지원센터 2015 International Journal of Database Theory and Appli Vol.8 No.3
An efficient load balancing algorithm in the field of cloud computing is absolutely essential in order to have a cloud network with graceful performance satisfying user expectation. Inspite of the existence of handful lightly loaded data centers, numerous heavily overloaded data centers may lead to a performance degradation of overall cloud network. Proper workload distribution may improve the overall performance of the cloud system. Now a day’s eminent cloud division rules are highly demanding algorithm for distributing workloads among various cloud server nodes deployed in cloud-enabled data centers scattered over the geographical regions. For the researcher, cloud division rule and optimal cloud server node searching are the most demanding jobs in load balancing leading towards more efficient cloud network and improve users’ satisfaction. This paper presents an expeditious cloud division rule based on geographical location of the cloud-enabled data centers distributed over earth surface and builds a two-dimensional space partition k-d tree to partition them in order to search intended cloud server node efficiently. Our proposed organization scheme can be utilized for active monitoring load balancing algorithm to improve the resource utilization for high performance in present cloud computing environment.
Stabilizing Adaptive Controller for Uncertain Dynamical Systems: An LMI Approach
Sandip Ghosh,Sarit K. Das,Goshaidas Ray 제어·로봇·시스템학회 2009 International Journal of Control, Automation, and Vol.7 No.2
Adaptive stabilization of a class of linear systems with matched and unmatched uncertainties is considered in this paper. The proposed controller indeed stabilizes the uncertain system for any positive values of its non-adaptive gain that may be tuned to enhance dynamic response of system. The performance of uncertain system along with the Algebraic Riccati Equation that arises from the adaptive stabilizing controller is now formulated as a multi-objective Linear Matrix Inequality optimization problem. The decay rate and a factor governing the ultimate bound of the system states are considered to characterize the closed loop system performance. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed controller is illustrated via stabilizing a mass-spring system.
Prolonged Conflict and Reconciliation between India and Pakistan
Sandip Kumar Mishra 통일연구원 2019 International journal of korean unification studie Vol.28 No.2
The paper looks at the sources and trajectory of the conflicts between India and Pakistan which have colonial and post-colonial elements. The paper identifies religious identity, partition, border disputes, and Pakistan’s quest for symmetry with India through various arrangements as the primary causes of the India-Pakistan conflict. The paper also talks about various governmental and non-governmental reconciliation attempts between the two countries in the last seven decades. Although these reconciliation attempts have not been very successful, they have maintained some minimal exchange between the two countries. Finally, the paper analyzes the causes of the prolongation of the India and Pakistan conflict by enumerating various spoilers in the process. These spoilers have been the domestic politics of India and Pakistan, terrorist groups operating from Pakistan, the domestic political power structure of Pakistan, and the rise of Hindu nationalism in India along with economic backwardness. Finally, the paper concludes that the prospect for peace between the two countries in the short-term appears improbable.

Optically pure 3-aryloxy-1,2-propanediols are important intermediates in the synthesis of variouspharmaceutical compounds. This study reports the kinetics and mechanism of lipase catalyzedregioselective monoacetylation of 3-aryloxy-1,2-propandiols. Regioselective monoacetylation of 3-(2-methylphenoxy) propane-1,2-diol was chosen as a model reaction and various commercially availablelipases were screened as catalysts. Candida antarctica lipase B (Novozyme 435) was found to be the bestcatalyst among all considering the yield and excess of monoacetylated product. Important reactionparameters were optimized systematically to improve the rate of reaction and conversion, viz., speed ofagitation, reaction solvent, catalyst loading, reaction temperature and mole ratio. The study of initial rateand progress curve demonstrated that the reaction obeys the ternary complex mechanism and 3-(2-methylphenoxy) propane-1,2-diol inhibits the reaction at higher concentrations. Theoretical predictionsand experimental rates match very well based on non-linear regression analysis. Under optimizedreaction conditions the study was further extended to regioselective monoacetylation of a variety of 3-(aryloxy)-1,2-propanediols.
