        The propose of this thesis was to study the usage of the low-grade Vermiculite from the Chung Chong province and also to increase its Value-added. A series of experiments have been done for separation as well as heat-expansion characteristics of the Chung Chong Vermiculite some conclusions can be drawn as follows; 1. Vermiculite from Chung-Yang and Hong-Shung areas wear better than that from Palabora's mine in South Africa in terms of the usefulness for an organic fertilizer. 2. The ratio of the volume expansion of Vermiculite increased along with the temperature. 3. In general, the ratio of volume expansion of the vermiculite from Chung-Yang, Hong-Shung and Palabora's mine in South Africa increased with temperature. But it decreased temporarily in the vicinity of 850℃. The result seems to be due to temporary decrease in the latent heat as the crystal water in the crystals such as Ca_(10)(Mg,Fe)₂A1₄Si_(9)O₃₄(OH)₄, K(Fe,Mg)₃AlSi₃O_(10)(OH)₂and K (Fe,Mg)₃AlSi₃O_(10)(OH)₂evaporated. 4. Above 1050℃, the crystal structure began to change and resulted in partial destruction to produce some dusts. Finally sintering occurred.

        The dental high-speed handpiece is one of the most popular and important devices that has been widely used as the main means of cutting tooth structure and restorative materials in dentistry, In consideration of usage and marketability of the dental handpiece, it is obviously worthy of investigating it. In this paper, a high speed dendal handpiece is developed through reverse engineering with 3D X-Ray CT equipment and wire cutter for the Mark II model in NSK. The demension of the handpiece parts is obtained through this process, and 3D modeling is performed with CATIA V5. The interference between parts can be examined through the part assembly in CATIA, and the performance is finally compared with Mark II model in NSK.

      • 마이크로웨이브 밴드용 Rotary Joint 설계 및 구현

        Rotary joint is a rotating line minimizes the loss of electromagnetic wave between the fixed transmitter/receiver devices and continuously rotating antenna according to the azimuth and altitude in radar system or satellite communications systems. Rotary joint is implemented adaptively combining coaxial cable and rectangular/circular waveguide considering the feeding power and rotation speed. Therefore, it results in the junction of heterogeneous transmission lines and subsequently causes the discontinuity in the transmission medium. In this paper, we design and implement the dual channel rotary joint for microwave band (8.5GHz∼9.6GHz) and conforms its characteristics through experiments. Design are based on the optimal parameters obtained from the theoretical analysis and simulation results of the electromagnetic distribution, the transmission mode transition, and the mode matching at discontinuity point in the junction of two transmission lines having a different geometrical plane.

        As the development of scientific civilization and the complicatedness of social structure have been depended, during this century, sports and recreation for all movement has flourished all over the world. Recreation is concerned with those activities in which a person participates during hours other than work but conception of Korea-traditional leisure has two functions on "Recreation" and "Recreation" which that is worth through leisure and this is leisure through work. Today, inspite of important medium of the mass-culture, sport remains elite sports because of overdeveloping of competition. One way of resolving this problem makes everyone feel joy and happiness through the special character of amusement. When it is like that we can acquire noble humanity. We must develop the recreational functions of sports. That is, these functions become good use of leisure and humanity.

      • 저자계측정을 위한 종형 Hall 소자의 교류구동 원리

        In this paper, the vertical Hall device which is sensitive to the magnetic fields parallel to the surface of the chip, is fabricated and characterized. The Hall voltage was ±0.2[mV] in the range of ±100[Gauss]. The current-related Magnetic sensitivity(S_(H)) was about 55[V/AT]. With an increased I_(sup), the offset voltage was also increased. Alternating Current(AC) driving system was used to process the amplification of Hall voltage and the reduction of offset and noise by the AC driving of the vertical Hall device. When the AC driving system was operated, the output of the Hall voltage was ±74.0 [mV] in the low magnetic field ranges of ±100 [Gauss], The magnetic fields resolution was 0.74[mV/Gauss].

      • 질석을 이용한 음식물 쓰레기의 퇴비화

        Recently disposal of the garbage is getting attention as one of the most serious problems in the communites. A study has been attempted to use the garbage to make the organic fertilizer using vermiculite, which results not only effecive disposal of the garbage but also enormous economic production. 1) The garbage contains NaCl much higher than the night soil. 2) The garbage used the vermiculite as an additive and fertilized with micro-organism didn't smell stinking and the fermentation rate of it was faster than the others. 3) pH had been increased because the Ammonia(NH₃) was produced by the micro-organism reaction, activated from eluting Calcuim(Ca) and Magnesuim(Mg) in vermiculite at pH 3. 4) It has been confirmed that the compound of garbage with vermiculite could be transformed into very good compound organic fertilizer.

      • 잡음 및 오프셋전압 감소를 위한 종형 홀소자의 교류구동

        In this paper, the Alternating Current(AC) driving method of Vertical Hall Device(VHD) which is sensitive to the magnetic field parallel to the surface of the chip is presented. This system consists of the phase inverting circuit and Low Pass Filter(LPF) ect. for the amplification of Hall voltage and reduction of offset voltage and noise. When this system was operated, the offset voltage and noise could be reduced effetively. Also, the output voltage of VHD was ±74.0〔mV〕 in the low magnetic field ranges of ±100〔Gauss〕, the linearity of output voltage were good, and the magnetic field resolucation was 0.74〔mv/Gauss〕.

        A synthesis procedure is presented for dual-mode bandpass waveguide cavity filter. Orthogonal modes in circular waveguide are employed to enable negative coupling elements to be realized. Design information is provided by the realization of a 6-pole elliptic function bandpass filter with TE₁₁₃ mode operating in a 40-MHz bandwidth centered at 12.27 GHz for KOREASAT downlink frequency. To demonstrate the validity of the design procedure, a waveguide bandpass filter has been constructed and measured. Experimental results show good agreement with the designed specifications.

      • 오염된 토양으로부터 분리된 세균에 이한 2,4-Dinitrotoluene과 2,6-Dinitrotoluene의 생물학적 제거

        Dinitrotoluenes (e.g., 2.,4-Dinitrotoluene and 2,6-Dinitrotoluene) are the major impurity resulting from the manufacture of 2,4,6-trinitrotoluene(TNT) and are primary starting materials for the synthesis of toluenediisocyanate which are used in the production of polyurethane foam. Both 2,4-DNT(2,4-dinitro- toluene) and 2,6-DNT(2,6-dinitrotoluene) are recalcitrant and have been shown to be toxic to aquatic and terrestrial organisms in the environment. Because little information is available for the biological degradation of DNTs, they have has not been evaluated for the possible treatment processes of industrial waste streams where DNTs may represent a serious disposal problem. In the present work, we explored the feasibility using a bacterium for DNTs degradation, with the ultimate aim of application for the industrial treatment. A DNTs-degrading bacterium was isolated from soil samples collected from an explosive contaminated area. Complete degradation of 2,4-DNT at the initial concentration of 50 ㎎ 2,4-DNT per liter was achieved within 10 days of incubation in bench-scale bioreactors, whereas 2,6-DNT degraded completely within 14 days under the same conditions, respectively. The bacterium was able to utilize DNTs as the sole nitrogen source. Co-substrate was essential for the bacterial growth and DNTs degradation in the medium. Neither bacterial growth nor DNTs degradation were observed in the absence of co-substrate. The detection of the parent substrates and their intermediates were based on HPLC and GC-MS methodology.
