Small-sized fans for cooling electronic components are usually produced by injection molding in unified form including blade and hub. However, in case of middle and large-sized fans, they deal in various products with varied numbers of blade or stagger angles after designing a single blade by molding or aluminum die casting. At this occasion, it is necessary to study design method for high-performance axial fans can. be operated with various numbers of blades or stagger angle using unique blade for specified conditions. Therefore, the goal in this study is developing a optimal design method which improves performance of axial fans within the large range of operating by single blade.

This thesis presents applications of three dimensional visualization technique based on shear-warp volume rendering to medical information. Volume rendering is compared to surface rendering and acceleration technique is also presented. The presented rendering techniques by using three-dimensional always of data are a widely used representation for computational fluid dynamics and geological structures as well as medical information.
Investigation of Temperature Rise in an Induction Motor Considering the Effect of Loading

<P>This paper presents an investigation into the temperature rise in induction motors used to power machine tool spindles by considering the effects of loading. To develop a second-order fitted power-loss distribution model for the constant-torque operating range of the induction motor, we employed the design of experiment and response surface methodology techniques. In particular, the way in which the temperature of the induction motor rises is calculated using an equivalent thermal resistance model. Finally, the analysis results were experimentally verified, and the validity of the proposed analysis method was confirmed.</P>
