<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A headspace solid-phase micro extraction (HS-SPME) and gas chromatography-tandem mass spectrometric (GC-MS/MS) method is described to detect hydrazine after derivatization with 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedione (1,1,1-TFPD) to 3-methyl-5-(trifluoromethyl) pyrazole in industrial waste water. The following optimal HS-SPME conditions were used: 85 μm-carboxen-polydimethylsiloxane fibre, 100 mg L<SUP>−1</SUP> TFPD, saturated NaCl, an extraction/derivatization temperature of 80 °C, a heating time of 40 min, and a pH of 9.5. Under the established conditions, the detection and quantification limits were 0.002 μg L<SUP>−1</SUP> and 0.007 μg L<SUP>−1</SUP> by using 5 mL of waste water and the intra- and inter-day relative standard deviations were less than 10.2% at concentrations of 0.02 and 0.1 μg L<SUP>−1</SUP>. The calibration curve showed good linearity, with <I>r</I> <SUP>2</SUP> = 0.998; the accuracy was in the range of 98.0–103%; and the precision of the assay was less than 10.2% in industrial waste water. Hydrazine was detected over a concentration range of 0.011–0.074 μg L<SUP>−1</SUP> in 5 of 20 waste water samples.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> New single peak derivatization method of hydrazine with 1,1,1-trifluoro-2,4-pentanedione in wastewater for HS-SPME. </LI> <LI> Easy manipulation and amenable to automation. </LI> <LI> This method requires no solvent for sample extraction and is environmentally friendly. </LI> <LI> This method shows low interference due to the use of HS-GC-MS/MS. </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

Purpose: This study examined the baking quality, quality characteristics, and acceptance of yellow layer cake as a model of batter type cakes according to different mixing methods. Methods: Yellow layer cakes were manufactured using different mixing methods: the single stage method (S), creaming method (C), blending method (B1), and modified blending method (B2). The specific gravity and microscopic observations were used to investigate the condition of batters. The quality characteristics of the yellow layer cake samples were determined by the volume, specific volume, baking quality, texture analysis, staling property, and acceptance. Results: Observations of the batter condition with the specific gravity and microscopic photographs revealed that S to capture the least amount of air while B1 captured the most (p<0.001). The volume of cakes was the highest in C and lowest in S (p<0.01). S also showed the lowest specific volume (p<0.05) and volume index (p<0.001). Although the batter captured the most air, B1 showed a smaller volume than C. B2 showed a high volume similar to C. S showed significantly higher hardness and chewiness than other samples (p<0.001). Springiness was the lowest in S and highest in C (p<0.05). B2 showed the highest acceptance of taste (p<0.05), texture (p<0.05), and overall acceptance (p<0.01). After storage for 5 days, C and B2 showed low staling rates (p<0.001). Conclusion: The cake made by blending method with longer mixing time showed a higher volume, low staling rate, and high acceptance in taste, texture, and overall acceptance.

본 연구는 뷰티 로드샵의 카카오톡 플러스 친구의 일반적 특성과 이용 브랜드 특성이 상품 구매의도에 미치는영향을 살펴본 연구이다. 본 연구는 10대부터 30대까지 뷰티 로드샵 카카오톡 플러스 친구를 친구로 등록하고있는 여성 소비자를 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 203부가 최종분석에 이용되었다. 연구결과를 살펴보면 첫째, 일반적 특성인 정보제공, 오락성, 보상의 순으로 상품 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나났다. 둘째, 카카오톡 플러스 친구의 이용 브랜드 특성인발송시기, 브랜드 신뢰, 사회적 영향의 순으로 상품 구매의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 뷰티 로드샵의 모바일 마케팅에 실직적인 도움을 줄 것으로 예상한다. This study investigates the effect of characteristics of KaKaoTalk plus friends and brand characteristics on purchase intention. The questionnaire consists of general characteristics, characteristics of brand and purchase intention. Respondents are limited to females 10s, 20s and 30s years old who have added KaKaoTalk plus friends of beauty road shop. A total of 203 samples were used for the final analysis. Cronbach’s alpha, factor analysis, and regression analysis were utilized in this study. The results are as follows. First, general characteristics of KaKaoTalk plus friends: information offer, entertainment and benefit had a significant influence on purchase intention. Second, brand characteristics of KaKaoTalk plus friends: brand trust, social influence and Sending seasonally property positively influenced purchase intention. This results will offer strategic marketing method.

In order to obtain the cellulolytic bacterial consortia, sediments from Great Basin hot springs (Nevada, USA) were sampled and enriched with cellulosic biomass as the sole carbon source. The bacterial composition of the resulting anaerobic ethanol-producing celluloytic bacterial consortium, named SV79, was analyzed. With methods of the full-length 16S rRNA librarybased analysis and denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis, 21 bacteria belonging to eight genera were detected from this consortium. Clones with closest relation to the genera Acetivibrio, Clostridium, Cellulosilyticum, Ruminococcus, and Sporomusa were predominant. The cellulase activities and ethanol productions of consortium SV79 using different agricultural residues (sugarcane bagasse and spent mushroom substrate) and energy crops (Spartina anglica, Miscanthus floridulus, and Pennisetum sinese Roxb) were studied. During cultivation, consortium SV79 produced the maximum filter paper activity (FPase, 9.41 U/ml), carboxymethylcellulase activity (CMCase, 6.35 U/ml), and xylanase activity (4.28 U/ml) with sugarcane bagasse, spent mushroom substrate, and S. anglica, respectively. The ethanol production using M. floridulus as substrate was up to 2.63 mM ethanol/g using gas chromatography analysis. It has high potential to be a new candidate for producing ethanol with cellulosic biomass under anoxic conditions in natural environments.

A method based on the TMS derivatives and acidic hydrolysis was developed for the simultaneous determination of free and conjugated steroidal hormones in surface water. A silylation of five natural and two synthetic steroidal hormones was achieved with N-methyl-N-(trimethylsilyl) trifluoroacetamide/NH_4I (1000:3)under catalysis of dithioerythritol for 60 min at 80 ^oC. TMS derivatives of the steroid hormones containing multifunctional groups offer a single derivative product under this condition. The accuracy of the analytes was in the range of 87 to 110% at a concentration of 20 and 50 ng/L with relative standard deviations of less than 10%. The method detection limit was in the range of 0.01 to 0.02 ng/L for surface water. Natural steroidal hormones were detected in a concentration range of 0 to 1.03 ng/L in free form and 0 to 14.6 ng/L in conjugated form, respectively. We found that most of the natural hormonal steroids exist in conjugate forms (43 to 100%)in river water.
