A Moving-Belt Type Electrostatic Precipitator (MBEP) proposed by one of authers has been improved by introducing systematic control concept for the diesel soot particulates from diesel engine exhaust. The proto type MBEP was designed without helping of any precharger or precoagulator of the soot particles, and so it is too large for equipping to the vehicles. The improved one is designed as a systematic control device consisted of a precharger and a MBEP. This systematization makes it possible miniaturizing the size of MBEP without any drop of its collection performance by enhancing the corona field intensity and current density in the collection space concurrently obtained by reducing the interelectrode spacing of corona electrode to collection electrode. As a result, the collection efficiency of present MBEP system, which is reduced by ca. 1/2 in volume to the proto type MBEP, amounts to 82% at the gas velocity of 1.0m/s (this nearly equals to the gas exhaust of a 2000 cc diesel powered vehicle) and gas temperature of ca. 50℃ for the simulated soot particles ranged in size from 0.005μm (mass median diam is 1.0 μm). The collection efficiency of the improved MBEP system of 82% is higher enough to the US EPA regulation limit of 70% of the year of 1985 for the diesel powered light-duty trucks and passenger cars.

해수중 우라늄 회수를 위한 Acrylamidoxime섬유의 합성과 특성

A fibrous adsorbent containing amidoxime groups for the recovery of uranium from seawater was synthesized through the amidoximation of polyacrylonitrile fiber with hydroxylamine. The infrared spectra of the fiber showed the characteristic absorption peaks of amidoxime, i.e. -OH stretching at 3200∼3400㎝-¹, =C=N- stretching of the hydroxylimino group at 1650㎝-¹and =N-O- stretching of hydroxyimino group at 930㎝-¹. Amidoxime groups containing in the fibrous adsorbent determined by elemental analysis were 2.8 meq/g-Ad. Uranyl ions were not adsorbed on the amidoxime fiber from acidic solution below pH 2. However, when PH of the solution increased to over 3, uranyl ions were adsorbed. The increased in temperature and flow rate of seawater in the adsorption process were effective in increasing the amount of adsorbed uranium. The minimum immersion time to obtain equilibrium desorption in 1N-H₂SO₄is estimated to be 30 min. The concentration factors for uranium and transition metal were in the order of 10, while those for alkali metals and akaline earth metals were in the order of 10∼10¹.

"나", 그리고 사물에 대한 사랑 : 릴케와 윤동주 Eine vergleichende Studie u¨ber Rilke und Yoon, Dong-Ju

Bisher ist die Dichtung des koreanischen Dichters Yoon, Dong-Ju von manchen Literturkritkern ohne Zweifel als Poetik der Scham definiert worden. Und diesen Ausdruck der Scham in seiniem Werk hat man meistens als Resultat sienes innerne Widerstnads gegen die japanische Herrschft auf der koreanischen Halbinsel betrachtet. Aber kann man diese Behanptung unbedingt ejahen? Also, es geht in dieser Arbeit um eine neue Erhellung diese ausdrucks der Schanm, und zwar unter Beru¨cksichtigung von Rildes Einflu¨ssen auf Yoons literarisches Schaffen. Ende der 30er Jahre sind einige Werke Rilkes ins Koreanische u¨bersetzt worden. Diese Arbeit hat vor allem Park, Yong-Chul, der in Japan Germanistik studiert hat, in Angriff genommen. Und er hat Rilkes Schaffensweise der sogenannten poetischen Verkla¨rung auf seiner literarischen Ebene angewandt. Insbesondere hat er Rilkes Gedichte 「Gebete der Ma¨dchen zur Maria」 u¨bersetzt. Vermutlich hat Yoon die Weltanschauung aus diesen Gedichten Rilkes u¨bernommen. Diese Vermutung begru¨ndet sich auf der Tatsache, dass die meisten Grundzu¨ge des Ma¨dchens in Rilkes Werk mit denen des lyrischen lchs von Yoon u¨bereinstimmen. Das Ma¨dchen erscheint in Rilkes Werk als Inbegriff von Scheu gegenu¨ber der Welt, weil es nicht welterfahren ist. Trotzdem fu¨hlt es sich gross, weil es eine ebenso groβe Zukunft haben wird, wie sie die bibilische Maria vor sich hatte. Seine Erfu¨llung besteht darin, dass es als erwachsene Frau wie Maria ein Kind geba¨rt. Diese Grundzu¨ge kann man auch in dem lyrischen Ich von Yoons Werk finden. Das lyrische Ich von Yoon benimmt sich sehr ma¨dchenhaft. Dies erkla¨rt sich aus der Tatsache, dass Yoon damals als junger Student noch auf seinem Bildungsgang war. Deswegen fu¨hlte er sich immer noch scheu gegeu¨ber der frmden Welt. In dieser Scheu ist auch die Frommheit gegenu¨ber allen Dingen auf dieser Welt ehthalten. Deshalb kann man in seiner Scham als Christ auch einen Liebesausdruck finden. Allerdings is tes sehr schwer, direkte Einfu¨sse Rilkes auf Yoons Werk Festzustellen, weil nur an einer Stelle in Yoons Werk, in 「Eine Sterne aufza¨hlende Nacht」 Rilkes Name erscheint. Aber man kann sicher sagen, dass Yoon vielerlei aus Rilkes Werk u¨bernommen hat. Es bleibt noch ein japanisches Exemplar von Rilkes 「Die Weise von Lieve und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke」, in dem Yoons Name aufgeschrieben ist. Yoon, der gut japanisch lesen konnte, hat immer seinen Namen aufgeschrieben, wenn er sich ein Buch neu gekauft hat. Und er hat dieses Werk einige Monate vor 「Eine Sterne aufza¨hlende Nacht」 gekauft. In einiger Hinsicht ist die Geba¨rde des Ichs in 「Eine Sterne Aufza¨hlende Nacht」 und in 「Die Weise von Lieve und Tod des Cornets Christoph Rilke」 sehr a¨hnlich. Eine ganz auffa¨llige A¨hnlichkeit ist, dass das Icn in beiden Texten gegenu¨ber den Liebenden eine briefschreibende Geba¨rde macht, und zugleich thematisch Liebe und Tod besingt. Als Ju¨ngling will das Ich nach dem entbrannten Leben seinen eigenen Tod aufnehmen. Das lyrische Ich in Yoons Werk spricht sein Gebet und seinen Wunsch ra¨umlich an einer niedregen Stelle nach oben wie die Ma¨dchen in Rilkes 「Gebete der Ma¨dchen zur Maria」. Und die pflanzen-Metapher in Yoons Werk Werk hat die Bedeutung von Wachstum - ebenso wie das Ma¨dchen. Alle diese Aspekte kann man auch in Rilkes fru¨hem Werk feststellen. Konsequenterweise kann man sicher von Rilkes Einflu¨ssen auf Yoon, Dong-Ju ausgehen.

The image with non-contact and non-destructive measurement methods, might provide advantage to analyze and evaluate the condition of crops. It is necessary to develop a device for monitoring crops under the vinyl mulch which was protected from wild bird and weed control. Using digital image processing, the monitoring device for crops under the vinyl was developed. The monitoring system measured temperature distribution between soil and crops using an infrared temperature sensor. Based on the measured data analysis, the location of the crop under the vinyl mulch were estimated.

Recently, cities are to be a new limelight in developing countries. Because, They have performed important roles in promoting and spreading economic and social development of the country. This study is concerned with all cities in Korea, and has three main purposes. First one is to select the general analysis variables affecting urban growth from existing theoretical literatures. Second one is to identify the dominant factors and their changes for the growth of cities in Korea through the analysis of correlation with growth rate. It could be done by case study of growth trends of all existing cities for analysis period. The last one is to find out a formula to estimate the future growth of cities in Korea. The results of this study could offer much suggestions to establish the development strategies of cities in Korea.

광주광역시 도시공간구조 변화에 관한 연구

The purpose of this thesis is to inspect the step of spatial structure varied with the urban growth in place of Kwang-ju, to analyze the developing step of urban growth on the basis of the variety of shape-index and function-index on urban from 1930 to 1992 each year, to predict the variety direction of urban spatial structure for the concentrating and efficient urban function and to grope for the prospects of urban : what is the municipal concept in the land use, the variety of population, the change of traffic system, the change of urban planning zone, the change of executive zone, the transition of spatial structure on the basis of urban growth in Kwangiu. Considering the advent of subway in 1990, Pyoung-Dong industrial block, to work out these factors, the urban pattern in Kwangiu would be developed and established in aspect of long-range planning. The size of population, the changing pattern of land use planning and zonning are compared and analyzed to justify the relation with the urban comprehensive planning circulation planning.
