Droplets from a Thin Plate Nozzle Fabricated by Electroforming

Disintegration phenomena of thin liquid jet were investigated with optical instruments and thin planar nickel plate nozzles fabricated by electroforming process. The thickness of the nozzle is 0.02mm. Nozzle hole diameter Dn is 0.01, 0.02, 0.04mm for single hole nozzle and Dn is 0.01mm for 16 holes nozzle. Ion exchanged water is sprayed vertically downward into static atmospheric air from small holes of thin plate nozzle. Injection pressure Pi is from 0.1 to 1.0MPa. Water jet already disintegrates into small droplets array where distance from the nozzle hole exit Lx is 8mm. The interval of the droplets array becomes larger with Lx. Average velocities of droplets of spray are larger at higher injection pressure and decrease gradually with increase of Lx. Average velocities of droplets of spray from a multi-hole nozzle are larger than those from a single-hole nozzle. SMD with a single hole nozzle mainly increase gradually with Lx. In the several cases, fine droplets are observed and SMD varies complicatedly with Lx. On the other hand, in the case of a multi-hole nozzle, SMD increases monotonously with Lx. The modal diameter based on volume monotonously increases with Lx.

In this paper the real life operation of ULCS (Ultra Large Container Ships) is presented from the point ofview of shipmasters. The paper provides interpretation of results of questionnaire filled by masters of large containerships during Tools for Ultra Large Container Ships (TULC) EUI FP7 project. This is done in a way that results ofquestionnaire are further reviewed and commented by experienced master of ULCS. Following phenomena are subjectof questionnaire and further discussed in the paper: parametric rolling, slamming, whipping, springing, green waterand rogue waves. Special attention is given to the definition of rough sea states as well as to measures that ship masterstake to avoid them as well as to the manoeuvring in heavy seas. The role of the wave forecast and weather routingsoftware is also discussed.

DRM (Digital Rights Management)은 디지털 컨텐츠의 불법 사용방지를 위한 기술로서 인터넷과 같은 전송 매체를 통해 디지털 컨텐츠가 배포될 때 DRM의 복제 방지 기능을 사용해서 디지털 컨텐츠의 안전한 배포 및 판매를 촉진시키기 위한 기술이다. 이러한 DRM 환경 하에서 디지털 컨텐츠 저작권자의 가장 큰 요구 사항인 저작권 보호와 컨텐츠 보호를 위한 핵심 기능을 수행하는 DRM Client 시스템은 신뢰할 수 없는 사용자 환경에 설치되어 향후 배포되는 디지털 컨텐츠들에 대한 확인 및 플레이(실행)를 지속적으로 처리하게 되며, 이러한 처리 과정 중에 DRM Client 시스템은 사용자에 대한 인증이나 암호화된 디지털 컨텐츠 데이터의 복호화 및 디지털 컨텐츠 사용규칙을 명시한 라이센스에 관한 데이터를 처리하며 이러한 데이터는 사용자가 접근 못하도록 안전하게 보호되어야 한다. 본 논문은 이러한 사용자 인증키, 암호키, 라이센스 데이터를 DRM Client 시스템 하에서 안전하게 보호할 수 있는 Secure Storage Device (SSD)를 구현하여 소개하는데 그 목적이 있다. DRM is the ability to brand digital contents with features that ensure copy protection and affect the way in which digital contents are played back. DRM is a technology that enables the secure distribution, promotion, and sale of digital contents on the Internet. The DRM Client System that operates on the untrusted user environments has to meet the requirements of the contents owner, including copyright and contents protection. After the DRM Client System is installed on the untrusted user environments, it verifies and plays digital contents. With these procedures it carries out user authentication, contents decryption, and license management. During these procedures, the sensitive data, including authentication information, decryption data and license data, must be secured against any illegal access from users. The goal of this thesis is to introduce the implementation of Secure Storage Device which can protect user's authentication key, cryptographic key, and license data in safe where the DRM Client System is running.
