병재배 폐톱밥을 이용한 양송이 복토재료 개발에 관한 연구

애느타리 병재배후 탈병한 톱밥을 3월 중순 퇴적하여 부숙시킨 결과 퇴적기간에 따른 폐톱밥의 부숙정도는 퇴적 30일이후에 가장 컸으며 부숙 소요일수는 최소 48일이었다. 퇴적 기간에 따른 폐톱밥의 pH 및 총 질소 함량은 부숙이 진전됨에 따라 증가하는 경향이었고 총 탄소 및 C/N율은 시간이 경과함에 따라 감소하는 경향이었다. 식양토에 부숙이 완료된 톱밥을 부피 비율로 10, 30, 50%씩 첨가하여 복토 재료로 사용한 결과 30% 첨가시 식양토 단용 처리보다 A. bisporus 균사 생장이 촉진되고 초발이 소요일수가 5일 빠르며, 수량에 있어서도 28% 증수되었다. After bottle culture of Pleurotus ostreatus, sawdust was taken out from the bottle and accumulated in the middle of March, and then composted. As the result, Y value was decreased rapidly 30 days after composting, and it was decreased slowly after 30 days. It is considered that 118 days is required for composting, however, it is possible to use for casing material after at least 48 days composting. The pH and total nitrogen content of sawdust based on composting period had tendency to increase as composting was processed. Total carbon and C/N rate had tendency to decrease as time went on. Based on the rate of 10, 30 and 50%, each sawdust was added to clay loam used as casing material for culturing A. bisporrus. Among various treatments, the mycelial growth of A. bisporus was more favorable in the treatment of 30% sawdust than in the single treatment of clay loam. Based on the date necessary for primodium formation of A. bisporus, the primodium formation in the treatment of 30% sawdust was reduced to about 5 days as compared with that of any other treatments When 30% sawdust was added to clay loam used as casing material for culturing A. bisporus, the yield of its fruiting body was increased to 28%.

Quantized Static Output Feedback Control For Discrete-Time Systems

<P>This paper investigates the problem of output feedback control for discrete-time systems with two quantized signals in measurement output and control input. Since the measurement output and control input are quantized by general quantizers before they are passed to the controller and the system, the closed-loop system will include the quantization error terms, which might lead to that the performance of the closed-loop system is not guaranteed. For this purpose, this paper proposes a novel quantized output control strategy such that the closed-loop system is asymptotically stable or satisfies the prescribed <TEX>$\mathcal {H}_\infty$</TEX> performance. The corresponding design conditions for the output feedback controllers and the quantizers’ dynamic parameters are presented in terms of solutions to a set of linear matrix inequalities. Finally, a simulation example is given to prove the effectiveness of the proposed design method.</P>

From Housewives to Activists: Lived Experiences of Mothers for Disability Rights in Taiwan

When a family has a disabled child, the mother usually takes on the caretaker role and also carries the social stigma associated with disability. Based on participant observation and in-depth interviews with members of the Parents Association for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities (PAPID), this article explores the meanings of activism for parents who participate in the disability rights movement. First, it shows the impact of disability stigma on family members, especially the mothers of disabled persons. Second, the study shows that the participants of this movement, mainly the mothers of intellectually disabled children, not only promote the welfare of their children but they also learn to confront social stigma and renegotiate their gender roles. Parents’ associations have become an important public space for these mothers to escape home confinement and enjoy civic life. In contrast, the fathers who were interviewed saw activism as an obligation and were less likely to show emotional attachment to the civic organizations. Fuzzy Resilient Energy-to-Peak Filtering for Continuous-Time Nonlinear Systems

<P>The problem of resilient energy-to-peak filtering for a class of uncertain continuous-time nonlinear systems is investigated in this paper. A Takagi–Sugeno fuzzy model with norm-bounded uncertainties is used to represent the nonlinear plant. Attention is focused on the design of an energy-to-peak filter such that the filtering error system is asymptotically stable and the prescribed energy-to-peak filtering performance is guaranteed, where the designed filter is assumed to have additive gain variations. The proposed design is aimed at all filter matrices with gain variations, which improves the existing results on resilient energy-to-peak filtering for continuous-time systems. A simulation example is provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed methods.</P>

Epidemiological trend in inflammatory bowel disease in Taiwan from 2001 to 2015: a nationwide population-based study

Background/Aims: Incidences of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), ulcerative colitis (UC), and Crohn’s disease (CD), havebeen increasing in Asia. In this study, we report the relevant clinical characteristics and determined the epidemiological trend ofIBD in Taiwan from 2001 to 2015. Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to analyze data recorded from January 2001through December 2015 in the registered database compiled by the National Health Insurance and provided by the Ministry ofHealth and Welfare, Taiwan. Results: A total of 3,806 patients with catastrophic IBD illness were registered from 2001 to 2015 inTaiwan (CD, 919; UC, 2,887). The crude incidence of CD increased from 0.17/100,000 in 2001 to 0.47/100,000 in 2015, whereasthat of UC increased from 0.54/100,000 in 2001 to 0.95/100,000 in 2015. The prevalence of CD increased from 0.6/100,000 in2001 to 3.9/100,000 in 2015, whereas that of UC increased from 2.1/100,000 in 2001 to 12.8/100,000 in 2015. The male-to-femaleratio in the study sample was 2.19 for CD and 1.62 for UC. The median age of those registered with CD was lower than that ofthose registered for UC: 38.86 and 44.86 years, respectively. A significantly greater increase in CD incidence rate was identifiedamong 20 to 39-year-old compared with other age groups. Conclusions: Using Taiwan’s nationwide insurance database, we determinedthat the number of patients with CD increased more rapidly during the study period than the number of patients withUC, especially among age 20 to 39-year-old, resulting in a decreased UC-to-CD ratio. Relaxed Stability Condition and State Feedback H∞ Controller Design for T-S Fuzzy Systems

In this paper, a fuzzy Lyapunov approach is presented for stability analysis and state feedback H∞ controller design for T-S fuzzy systems. A new stability condition is obtained by relaxing the ones derived in previous papers. Then, a set of LMI-based sufficient conditions which can guarantee the existence of state feedback H∞ controller for T-S fuzzy systems is proposed. In comparison with the existing literature, the proposed approach not only provides more relaxed stability conditions but also ensures better H∞ performance. The effectiveness of the proposed approach is shown through two numerical examples.

H_∞ Controller Design for Linear Systems with Time-invariant Uncertainties

This paper considers the problem of designing robust H_∞ state feedback controller for linear continuous-time systems with time-invariant uncertainties. The main result given here concerns H_∞ controller design using the parameter dependent Lyapunov function approach and a new control law. A new condition ensuring the linear systems to be is asymptotically stable with a prescribed H_∞ performance is proposed in terms of a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Theoretic proof is given to show that the proposed condition is less conservative than existing results in the literature. An example is provided to demonstrate the efficiency of the proposed method.
