        성찰적 부끄러움과 가족적 연대 ― 김혜진의 『딸에 대하여』를 중심으로 ―

        이 논문의 목표는 김혜진의 『딸에 대하여』에 나타난 엄마의 부끄러움의 정동을 뒤따라 가면서 한국사회의 구조적ㆍ상징적 폭력을 체현하고 있는 한국가족의 현실을 조감해보고, 경쟁과 불신으로 점철된 사회의 폭력에 대항하는 관계의 장소로서 가족의 의미를 성찰해보는 것이다. 한국사회에서 가족 내부에서 발생하는 갈등과 이해불가능성은 압축적 근대화를 거치며 가중된 사회 문제에 대한 비판적 의식을 경유하지 않고서는 해소할 수 없다. 딸의 비정상성에 대한 부끄러움이 이 사회에서 고통받는 자들과 연대할 수 있는 성찰적 부끄러움으로 전환되는 과정을 분석함으로써, 우리는 동일한 가족재현을 강요하는 사회폭력에 대항하는 가족적 연대의 가능성을 사유할 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this paper is to follow the mother's shameful affect in Kim Hye-jin’s About the Daughter, and to give a bird's eye view of the reality of Korean families embodying structural and symbolic violence in Korean society. In addition, this study intends to reflect on the meaning of the family as a place of relationship to resist social violence. Conflicts and incomprehension that occur within the family cannot be resolved without passing through a critical awareness of social problems aggravated through compressed modernization. Through the process of transforming the shame of a daughter’s abnormality into a reflective shame that allows solidarity with those who suffer in this society, we consider a family model that opposes the boundaries and hierarchies of the norms of normality drawn by society.         공변량의 측정오차를 고려한 소지역 비율의 계층적 베이지안 추정

        본 연구에서는 기존에 개발된 로지스틱 회귀 모형(logistic regression model)을 기반으로 결과변수가 이항분포의 형태를 갖는 베이지안 소지역 비율 추정 모형을 바탕으로 공변량의 측정오차를 반영할 수 있는 확장모형을 제시하였다. 측정오차모형은 측정오차를 가지는 공변량의 참값에 대한 확률성 가정 여부에 따라 기능적 측정오차와 구조적 측정오차로 구분할 수 있으며 본 연구에서는 확률성을 가정하는 구조적 측정오차모형(structural measurement error model)을 고려하였다. 모형추정과 모형적합을 위해 마코브 체인 몬테칼로(Markov chain Monte Carlo) 방법 중 깁스 표집(Gibbs sampling)과 메트로폴리스-해스팅스(Metropolis–Hastings) 알고리즘을 기반으로 하는 계층적 베이지안 접근법을 활용하였다. 모의실험을 통해 개발된 확장모형의 우수성을 확인하였으며 특히 측정오차의 분산 값이 커질수록 더 우수한 성능을 나타내는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 국가표본자료인 2018년 국민건강영양조사 자료의 중고등학생을 대상으로 수면시간을 측정오차를 가지는 공변량으로 활용하여 시도별 우울감을 느끼는 학생의 비율을 추정하는 실증자료분석을 수행하였다. In this study, we present an expansion model that can reflect the measurement error of covariates based on the previously developed Bayesian small region ratio estimation model based on the logistic regression model in which outcome variable has a binary data form. The measurement error model can be divided into functional and structural measurement error models based on probability assumptions about the true values of covariates with measurement error and the structural measurement error model is considered in this study. A hierarchical Bayesian model was used by sampling using Gibbs sampling and Metropolis– Hastings algorithms among the Markov chain Monte Carlo methods for model estimation and model fitting. We confirm the superiority of the proposal model through simulation, especially the larger the variance value of the measurement error, the performance improved. In addition, an application analysis is conducted to estimate the proportion of depressed students by using sleep time as a covariate with measurement errors for middle and high school students from the 2018 National Health Nutrition survey data which is a national sample data.

        학교유형에 따른 지적장애 학생들의 취업 및 자립성, 삶의 만족도 차이 연구

        본 연구의 목적은 학교유형(일반학교, 일반학교 내 특수학급, 특수학교)에 따른 지적장애 학생들의 취업 및 자립성, 삶의 만족도에 대한 차이를 확인하는 것이며, 이를 통해 지적장애 자녀의 진학문제에 관한 기초연구 자료로 활용되길 기대한다. 본 연구에서는 “2017년 장애인실태조사”자료를 활용하였으며, 전체 대상자 6,549명 중 선천적으로 지적장애를 가진 고등학교 졸업자 52명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 성별 및 연령, 지역, 장애등급 등의 교란요인을 기반으로 다범주 로지스틱 회귀모형(multinomial logistic regression model)을 이용하여 학교유형에 대한 성향점수(propensity score)를 추정하였다. 추정된 성향점수를 기반으로 역확률 가중치 방법(inverse probability treatment weighting, IPTW)을 사용하여 학교유형에 따른 지적장애 학생들의 취업 및 자립성, 삶의 만족도에 대한 차이를 비교를 위한 로지스틱 회귀분석(logistic regression)을 진행하였다. 연구결과를 살펴보면, 일반학교보다 일반학교 내 특수학급 또는 특수학교의 취업, 자립성, 삶의 만족도 모두 통계학적으로 높게 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to identify differences in employment, self-reliance, and life satisfaction of intellectually disabled students according to school types (general school, special classes in general school, and special school), and to be used as basic research data on the problem of children with intellectual disabilities. In this study, 52 high school graduates with congenital intellectual disabilities were selected as the subjects of the study out of 6,549 eligible for the “2017 survey on the status of disabilities”. Based on confounding factors such as gender, age, region, and disability grade, use a multinomial logistic regression model to estimate propensity scores for school types. Based on the estimated propensity score, a logistic regression was performed to compare differences in employment, self-reliance and life satisfaction for students with intellectual disabilities according to school types using inverse probability treatment weighting (IPTW). The study result, employment, independence, and life satisfaction of special classes or special school in general schools were all statistically higher than in general school.

        감성의 제국에서 진정성의 코드화

        이 논문은 21세기 상이한 문화들의 횡단 및 혼종화 현상의 긍정적 가능성을 염두에 두는 한편, 그 현상이 신자유주의의 총체적 질서를 강고히 하는 데 기여할 위험을 비판적으로 고찰하려는 시도다. 20세기 제국주의가 정치경제적 지배-종속 질서를 구축하기 위해 국민국가의 경계를 지닌 권력 중심을 만들었다면, 21세기 제국은 문화산업을 통해 지배에 적합하게 코드화된 감성을 주체 내부에 이식시키는 방식으로 신체를 미시적으로 규율하고 통제한다. 논자는 후자의 부정적 경향을 “감성의 제국”(Empirie of Emotion)으로 개념화할 수 있다고 보고, 이런 착안을 구체화 하기 위해 전지구화된 자본의 흐름에 따라 코드화된 21세기 진정성 문화현상을 분석하는 데 목표를 둔다. 논자는 첫째, 18세기 서구에서 계몽주의, 합리주의 문화에 대한 반발로 등장한 진정성 문화의 고유한 역사적, 사회적, 정치경제적 계기들을 살펴보고(2절. 사회적 감성으로서 ‘진정성’), 둘째, 진정성을 학문적 개념으로 정립한 아도르노의 도움을 받아 일상적 이데올로기로 전락한 20세기 진정성 문화현상을 추적해본 다음(3절. 관리된 사회에서 진정성의 은어화), 셋째, 아도르노의 문화산업 비판이론에 준거해서 개인으로 하여금 자본주의적 삶의 양식(자기유지와 나르시시즘)을 마치 자연적인 것처럼 내면화하도록 만드는 21세기 진정성 마케팅(4절. 문화산업에서 진정성의 코드화)을 논의할 것이다. 마지막으로 논자는 최근 진정성 마케팅을 통해 세계적 성공을 거둔 아이돌 그룹 <방탄소년단>의 신드롬을 살펴보면서 글로벌 대중문화의 트렌드로 급부상하고 있는 한류의 부정적 경향성을 간략하게 스케치할 것이다.(5절. 나가며 : 방탄소년단 신드롬에 대한 단상) The Korean Wave has been recognized as a cross-cultural subject for 20 years. However, it should not be overlooked that the Korean Wave is in the collective tendency of the imperial control order, which constantly re-territorializes crosscultural escape. The empire repeatedly tries to de-territorialize and re-territorialize, while taming and ordering the human body according to the will and necessity of capital, and transplanting coded emotions appropriate to domination into the subjects themselves. This article is an attempt to critically examine the Korean Wave phenomenon through the concept of emotional empire, which is based on the empire concept of Negri and Heart. To this end, the author tries to argue the concrete conditions under which emancipation is carried through empathy by analyzing the process of the authenticity culture coded by capital in 18th century romanticism. First, we examine the inherent historical, social, and political economic implications of the authenticity culture that emerged as a rebellion against Enlightenment and rationalism culture in the 18th century West (2: "authenticity" as social sensitivity) (Section 3: Encoding of authenticity in the cultural industry) and the process of coding through the cultural industry (Section 4: Encoding of authenticity in the cultural industry). Lastly, I will look at the syndrome of idol group "Dangbuk Boysan" syndrome that has succeeded worldwide with recent authenticity, and will look at the relationship between Korean and Korean dominance.       • Production of Germline Transgenic Chickens Expressing High levels of Recombinant hEPO using a MoMLV-based Retrovirus Vector

        In the present study, using a MoMLV-based retrovirus vector, we successfully generated a new transgenic chicken line expressing high levels of hEPO. A replication-defective Moloney murine leukemia virus (MoMLV)-based vectors packaged with vesicular stomatitis virus G glycoprotein (VSV-G) was injected beneath the blastoderm of non-incubated chicken embryos (stage X). One rooster was mated to wild-type hens to produce 748 G1 progeny. PCR analysis of blood samples from these progeny revealed that there were seven G1 transgenic offspring, corresponding to a 0.9% germline transmission rate. Subsequently, Southern blot analysis of the genomic DNA from three G1 transgenic chickens was carried out to verify the stable genomic integration and copy number of the transgene in the genome. Quantitative analyses of the blood samples taken from G1 transgenic chickens resulted in 4,150 ~ 10,823 IU/㎖ (34.6 ~ 90.2 ㎍/㎖) of hEPO in the blood. The biological activity of the recombinant hEPO in transgenic chicken serum was comparable to its commercially available counterpart. Red blood cell numbers were more than three-fold higher in the transgenic chickens compared to the non-transgenic chickens. Successful germline transmission of the transgene was also confirmed in G2 transgenic chicks produced from crossing G1 transgenic roosters with non-transgenic hens. We confirmed that 13 transgenic chicks of 45 G2 progeny, corresponding to a 28.9% germline transmission rate. These results will help establish a useful transgenic chicken model system for studies of embryonic development and for efficient production of transgenic chickens as bioreactors.       • Expression of Recombinant hEPO in the Egg White of Transgenic Chickens

        In this study, we report successful expression of recombinant human erythropoietin (hEPO) in the egg white of transgenic hens using a feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV)- based lentiviral vector as an exogenous gene deliverer. hEPO is a glycoprotein hormone that controls erythropoiesis, or red blood cell production. FIV vectors permit high levels of transgene expression in quails and chickens. We constructed a FIV vector containing a hEPO cDNA sequence driven by an oviduct-specific ovalbumin promoter, and microinjected into the subgerminal cavity of stage X chick embryos to generate transgenic chicken. Out of 208 injected eggs, 10 chicks were hatched after 21 days of incubation, and one of the G0 hatched chicken expressed the vector-encoded hEPO gene in sperm. Successful germline transmission of the transgene was also confirmed in G1 transgenic chicks produced from crossing G0 transgenic roosters with non-transgenic hens. One rooster was mated to wild-type hens to produce 518 G1 progeny. PCR analysis of blood samples from these progeny revealed that there were four G1 transgenic offspring, corresponding to a 0.77% germline transmission rate. Subsequently, Southern blot analysis of the genomic DNA from four G1 transgenic chickens was carried out to verify the stable genomic integration and copy number of the transgene in the genome. Quantitative analyses of the blood and egg white samples taken from G1 transgenic chickens resulted in 4,810~6,600 IU/mL (40.1~55.0 ㎍/mL) of hEPO in egg white, whereas 18~25 mIU/mL (0.15~0.2 ng/mL) in serum. The biological activity of the recombinant hEPO in egg white was comparable to its commercially available counterpart. We conclude that successful expression of recombinant hEPO in the egg white of transgenic chickens implies an important step towards efficient production of human cytokine from the transgenic animal bioreactor.

      • Expression of Active Human Interferon Alpha 2b gene nder the Control of Ovalbumin Promoter in Transgenic Chickens

        Human interferon alpha 2b (hIFNα-2b) is an important immune regulator widely used in clinic, for the treatment of chronic hepatitis, hairy cell leukemia, chronic myelogenous leukemia and multiple myeloma, etc. The clinically used hIFNα-2b is generally produced by E. Coli, which lacks the post-translational O-glycosylation of naturally synthesized protein, and has a short serum half-life. In this study, we report the successful generation of transgenic chickens that produce hIFNα-2b in the egg white using a feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV)-based lentiviral vector. In preliminary in vitro study, the hIFNα-2b gene under the control of CMV promoter expressed as much as 2,650 ng/㎖ in CEF-LNC-hIFNα-2bW cell. A FIV vector packaged with vesicular stomatitis virus G glycoprotein (VSV-G) was injected underneath the blastoderm of freshly laid chicken eggs (stage X) to produce a hIFNα -2b transgenic chicken. Out of 187 injected eggs, 55 chicks were hatched after 21 days of incubation, and 27 of the G0 hatched chicks expressed the vector-encoded hIFNα-2b gene. The expression of recombinant hIFNα-2b in transgenic chickens constitutes an important step towards low-cost and full biological activity production of this protein drug in bioreactor.         Fabrication of Mg–Ni–Sn alloys for fast hydrogen generation in seawater

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Mg-2.7Ni-x wt.% Sn(x = 0–2) alloys were fabricated to promote hydrogen generation kinetics of Mg-2.7Ni alloy. The Sn in Mg-2.7Ni-Sn alloys exists as Mg<SUB>2</SUB>Sn phase at the grain boundary and solid solution at the Mg matrix. The Mg<SUB>2</SUB>Sn at the grain boundary acts as the initiation site for pitting corrosion and the dissolved Sn in the alloy causes pitting corrosion by locally breaking the surface oxide film in the Mg matrix in seawater. The Mg-2.7Ni-1Sn alloy showed an excellent hydrogen generation rate of 28.71 ml min<SUP>−1</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP>, which is 1700 times faster than that of pure Mg due to the combined action of galvanic and intergranular corrosion as well as pitting corrosion in seawater. As the solution temperature was increased from 30 to 70 °C, the hydrogen generation rate from the hydrolysis of the Mg-2.7Ni-1Sn alloy was dramatically increased from 34 to 257.3 ml min<SUP>−1</SUP> g<SUP>−1</SUP>. The activation energy for the hydrolysis of Mg was calculated to be 43.13 kJ mol<SUP>−1</SUP>.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> The Mg–Ni–Sn alloys were specially designed to fast generate H<SUB>2</SUB> in seawater. </LI> <LI> The Mg<SUB>2</SUB>Sn at the grain boundary acts as the initiation site for pitting corrosion. </LI> <LI> The dissolved Sn causes pitting corrosion by locally breaking the surface oxide film. </LI> <LI> H<SUB>2</SUB> generation rate of Mg-2.7Ni-1Sn was 1700 times faster than that of pure Mg in seawater. </LI> <LI> Enhanced performance was attributed to pitting, galvanic and intergranular corrosion. </LI> </UL> </P>
