      • 播種期, 育苗日數 및 播種量 差異가 水稻의 苗素質, 出葉 및 收量性에 미치는 影響 : (第2報) 出葉 및 收量性에 對하여 (Ⅱ) On the Leaf Appearance Cycle, Yield and its Components

        This experiment was conducted to contribute the establishment of safe maximum yield technique of rice by studying the characters of recently released variety “Tongil”compared with current leading variety “Jinheung”in accordance with different seeding date (Apr. 13-Early, Apr. 27-Ordinary, May 11-Late), nursery period (28, 42, 56, 70 days in each seeding date), and seedling density (0.3, 0.6, 0.9ℓ per 3.3㎡ in each nursery period) in 1972. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows. 1. The total leaves on main stem were almost same in spite of different seeding date, nursery period and transplanting date except extreamly late seeding and late transplanting. The variety Tongil always had emerged about 2 leaves more than the variety Jinheung. 2. The turning period of leaf appearance cycle showed a tendency to be influenced only by external environment, because it showed changes only by transplanting date though seeding date, nursery period, seedling density as well as characters of seedlings were different. 3. The mean leaf appearance interval on main stem was shortened according to delayed seeding while it was lengthened by extending nursery period. And the difference of leaf appearance cycle were determined by the differences of the interval of earlier period of leaf appearance cycle. The shortest leaf appearance interval was seen when transplanted at from May 25 to June 8. 4. The degree of delaying heading by extending nursery period n the variety Tongil was smaller than in the variety Jinheung within the same seeding date, but the degree of accelerating heading in the variety Tongil was larger than in Jinheung in the case of the same transplanting date. The critical heading date ensure a stable yield in the variety Tongil was considered August 15. 5. The number of panicles per hill increased according to early seeding in the variety Jinheung while it was the greatest when seeded ordinary in the variety Tongil, and also it was increased strikingly as young seedlings were transplanted in both varieties. 6. The number of spikelets per panicle of both varieties was increased straightly by extending nursery period, and the relationship between the number of spikelets per panicle and the number of panicles per hill showed negative corelation remarkably. 7. The maturing ratio and 10000 grains weight were decreased markedly in accordance with not only delaying seeding but also delaying transplanting and this tendency was conspicuous in the variety Tongil. 8. Consequently, the grain yield was influenced greatly by the number of spikelets per hill, heading date and maturing ratio in this study. So the maximum yield was obtained when transplanted earlier, that is, transplanted with 42 days seedling at May 25. 9. It was concluded that the variety Tongil had a good plant type, because it had more leaves, and the leaf appearance interval was shorter and the number of leaves on main stem at turning period of leaf appearance cycle were larger than the variety Jinheung.

        This experiment was conducted to contribute to the safety maximum yield of rice by studying the characters of rice seedlings of recently released variety "Tongil" compared with current leading variety "Jinheung" in accordance with different seeding date (Apr. 13-Early, Apr. 27-Ordinary, May 11-Late), nursery period (28, 42, 56, 70 days in each seeding date) and seedling density (0.3ℓ, 0.6ℓ, 0.9ℓ per 3.3㎡ in each nursery period) in 1972. The results obtained in this study are summarized as follows: 1. The characters of non-irrigated seedling of early seeding were superior to full-irrigated seedlings of ordinary and late seeding from the viewpoint of plant height, number of tillers, top dry weight, dry weight per plant height ratio and rooting activity in both varieties. At the same time the nursery period produced seedlings of the best character was 56 days in variety Jinheung at any seeding date whereas 70 days when seeded early, 56 days and 42 days when seeded ordinary and late respectively in variety Tongil. In other words, the nursery period produced seedlings of the best character in variety Tongil was shortened by delaying the seeding date. 2. The effect of sparce-seeding on the characters of rice seedlings was more remarkable in variety Tongil rather than variety Jinheung, while the characters of both varieties were similiar or rather poor in variety Tongil than Jinheung when seeded densely. 3. The completion date of flag leaf appearance was almost same in spite of different seeding date and seedling density in both varieties. But the number of leaves on main stem was decreased and the leaf appearance interval, the turning period of leaf appearance cycle were delayed in accordance with late seeding and dense seeding. 4. In the case of seeded sparcely, the seedling had no changes of its number of leaves on main stem in accordance with various seeding date and seedling density, and was shortened leaf appearance interval,' increased the number of leaves at turning period of leaf appearance cycle than densely seeded seedling. Variety Tongil had emerged a bit more leaves on main stem, at the same time was shortened leaf appearance interval and increased the number of leaves on main stem at the turning period of leaf appearance cycle than variety Jinheung.

      • 忠淸南道地方의 栽培作物 變遷에 關한 硏究

        This work was conducted to investigate the changes in cultivated crops during past 20years in central region of Korea. The results were summarized as follows; In 1960's, 91∼92% of arable land was planted for cereal food crops, 4.5∼5.5% for vegetables and 2.4∼4.3% for potatoes, respectively. In 1980's, however, the acreage of cereal food crops was decreased dramatically, on the contrally, the acreage of vegetables and industrial crops were increased considerably. The acreage of barley, wheat, millet, soybean, azuki bean and sweet potato were reduced greatly, whereas rice was increased everywhere, and such cash crops as white potato, sesame, tobacco, vegetables and fruit trees were increased at most of the area during past 20years.

      • 忠淸南道地方의 作付體系 變遷에 關한 硏究

        This work was carried out to investigate the changes in cropping systems and the factors influencing it during past 20 years from 1960 to 1980 at central Korea. 12 villages were selected as sample location based on the analysis of agricultural census, then the on-the-spot survey was carried out. The results were summarized as follows; 1. The barley in double paddy was planted over 50 percent of the paddy field at 1960's, on the other hand, it was decreased below 10 percent at 1980's. 2. The simple cropping system of barley-legume formed 70∼80 percent of total upland area at 1960's, but the various cropping patterns including such cash crops as vegetables and industrial crops were developed at 1980's. 3. The major factors influencing the change of cropping system were earnings, natural conditions of location and rural extension, whereas, the minor factors were release of new variety, cultural technique, markets, labor power and activities of farm leaders. 4. It was considered that the cropping system was influenced greatly by the natural conditions such as climate and soil conditions in case of the same technical, economical and social circumstances.
