허밍 운율정보를 이용한 곡목 검색 기술

Music query by humming is a challenging problem since the humming signal inevitably contains much variation and inaccuracy. In this paper, we suggest an algorithm for querying a wanted song from music database by humming its melody. In order to suit or adapt the inaccurate peoples humming, a new melody representation technique is proposed. Our algorithm is basically a pitch and duration information-based one and performs fairly well. 85% of correct query rate of the song is achieved for the top 3 matches when tested with 20 songs.

지능형 서비스 로봇을 위한 원거리 음원 추적 기술

This paper suggests an algorithm that can estimate the direction of the sound source in real time. The algorithm uses the time difference and sound intensity information among the recorded sound source by four microphones. Also, to deal with noise of robot itself, the Kalman filter is implemented. The proposed method can take shorter execution time than that of an existing algorithm to fit the real-time service robot. Also, using the Kalman filter, signal ratio relative to background noise, SNR, is approximately improved to 8 dB. And the estimation result of azimuth shows relatively small error within the range of ${\pm}7$ degree.

HOS 특징 벡터를 이용한 장애 음성 분류 성능의 향상

This paper proposes a method to improve pathological and normal voice classification performance by combining multiple features such as auditory-based and higher-order features. Their performances are measured by Gaussian mixture models (GMMs) and linear discriminant analysis (LDA). The combination of multiple features proposed by the frame-based LDA method is shown to be an effective method for pathological and normal voice classification, with a 87.0% classification rate. This is a noticeable improvement of 17.72% compared to the MFCC-based GMM algorithm in terms of error reduction.

Pseudovascular space를 보인 진피내 모반

Melanocytic nevus may be histologically associated with cleft of nests resembling vascular space. This pseudovascular space mainly has been known as an artifact of tissue processing and may simulate the Iymphatic invasion of malignant melanoma. It is important to be aware of this histologic variant in melanocytic nevus to prevent the misdiagnosis. We report a 38-year-old female who had a melanocytic nevus on her back since childhood. This nevus gradually enlarged with erythematous swollen border for several months. Histopathologic examination represented an intradermal melanocytic nevus. Nevus cell nests were clustered in the dermis and vascular-like spaces were seen in the nevus cell nests. Immunohistochemical staining showed that cells lining the pseudovascular space were positive for S-100 protein and negative for smooth muscle actin, factor Ⅷ-related antigen, and CD34. We conclude that these spaces are lined by nevomelanocytes and that the spaces are not truly vascular. (Korean J Dermatol 2003;41(5) : 621~624)

가소제를 이용한 클로르프로마진의 용매 추출 분광광도법

A method for the determination of basic drugs based on their reaction with picric acid to form an ion-association complex extractable into several plasticizers was developed. Basic drugs-picric acid complexes in acid medium could be extracted quantitatively into several plasticizers except phosphates. For example, the chlorpromazine-picric acid complex showed maximum absorbance at near 410nm and was applied to extraction spectrophotometric determination of chlorpromazine. The calibration curves are linear (r>0.998) within a range from 10-6 to 5 X 10-4M and the precision of the method was acceptable because RSD was less than 2.6% (n=7). The factors affecting the extraction system was discussed.

치과위생사의 전문직업성에 관한 영향요인 연구

The purpose of this study was to examine the professionalism of dental hygienists in dental institutions and the influential factors for their professionalism in an attempt to seek ways of enhancing the professionalism of dental hygienists. The subjects in this study were 172 dental hygienists who worked in dental institutions in Busan and Gimhae. A self-administered survey was conducted to gather data, and an experimental analysis was carried out to analyze the collected data. The major findings of the study were as follows: First, concerning professionalism, self-regulation belief(3.70) ranked highest(3.42), followed by service belief(3.65), autonomy belief(3.31), a sense of vocational calling(3.30) and utilization of the professional organization as a standard(3.12). Second, the professionalism of the dental hygienists was significantly better when their title was higher, when they were older, when they got a larger monthly pay and when they intended to work for a longer time. Third, as for the influential factors for their professionalism, age, marital status, the estimated term of working at the workplace and opinion on reemployment were also identified as the significant variables that were up to the standard level of significance(p=0.05). The findings of the study suggest that in order to boost the professionalism of dental hygienists, it`s required to take institutional measures to give them more responsibility, autonomy and authority, and how to improve personnel administration by providing strong motivation for them to look at their workplaces more favorably and keep on working for a long time should discreetly be considered.

비립종과 동반된 안면부의 발진성 연모 낭종

We report a 48-year-old female who had eruptive vellus hair cysts associated with milia on the face. Histopathologic examination of lesions on the forehead and cheek showed typical findings of eruptive vellus hair cysts and milia. These findings suggested that two entities are in some way related. Eruptive vellus hair cysts and milia can be considered as subtypes of multiple pilosebaceous cysts that may all present overlapping histologic features. (Korean J Dermatol 2003;41(6) : 780~783)

보건소 국가암검진지원사업대상자의 수검관련요인

Objectives: The factors related to cancer screening examinations were analyzed to improve the utilization rate of the cancer screening system of the health center cancer screening support targets. Methods: The collected data were subjected to the chi-square test and multiple linear regression advancing method using the SPSS 23.0 statistical program. Results: 50% of all 100 respondents were examinees. In addition, 64% of people were aware of the health center cancer screening support system, and the cancer screening rate of the group recognized by broadcast, SMS, or phone was significantly higher. In the cancer screening rate for each cancer-related information-seeking pathway, TV information channels and neighbors were significantly lower, experts were significantly higher, and experts trusting groups were significantly higher. Cancer-related information-seeking groups considered experts such as doctors and pharmacists factors influencing the cancer screening of health center cancer screening support targets, age 65 or younger, groups recognized by broadcasting on cancer management programs, groups without jobs, and health center-SMS phone. The group that recognized the cancer screening support project was influential. Conclusions: Those eligible for cancer screening support at public health centers need close communication through education and promotion, including more direct contact with experts through public health centers.

성인의 치주질환에 관한 지식, 인식과 신념에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 학교사회구성원들의 치주질환인식도, 지식, 신념 및 태도와 치주건강을 분석하여 구강보건교육과 계속적인 관리를 위한 방법을 연구하는 기초 자료를 마련하고자 구강보건실을 내방하는 환자들을 대상으로 치주질환에 대한 생각과 치주건강도를 조사하여 관련 영향요인을 파악하였다. 치주질환의 기술 역학적 특성의 인지도는 2.77점, 초기의 치은염 증상에 대한 지식 정도에 관한 문항의 평균은 2.97점, 치주질환 발생요인에 대한 인지도에 관한 문항의 평균은 2.90점, 치주질환의 예방 및 치료에 대한 인지도에 관한 문항의 평균은 2.95점, 치주질환에 대한 신념 및 태도에 관한 문항의 평균은 3.04로 높고 올바른 인지도, 지식도, 신념 및 태도를 가진 것으로 나타났다. 치주질환 관련 문항 중 비교적 낮은 점수의 문항은 노화에 의한 치아상실에 대한 인식과 음식물과 치주질환 예방과 발생과의 관계 인지, 칫솔질 시간과 잇몸건강과의 관계, 올바른 칫솔질 방법과 관리법 등이었다. 초기의 치은염 증상에 대한 지식 정도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 연령과 음주횟수, 치주낭 깊이, 성별이었으며, 치주질환 발생요인에 대한 인지도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 성별, 나이, 3분 칫솔질이, 치주질환의 예방 및 치료에 대한 인지도에 영향을 미치는 요인은 음주횟수가 유의한 영향관계에 있는 것으로 나타나 건강을 위한 생활행태 개선이 필요한 것으로 파악되었다. The purpose of this study was to examine the awareness and knowledge of school organizational members about peridontal diseases, their belief in the diseases, attitude and periodontal health in an effort to provide some information on how to ensure successful oral health education and incremental dental care. The subjects in this study were the selected patients who visited school dental clinics. Their ideas of periodontal diseases and periodontal health were analyzed to determine the influential factors. They got a mean of 2.77 in awareness of the epidemiologic characteristics of periodontal diseases, 2.97 in knowledge on the initial symptoms of gingivitis, 2.90 in awareness of the causes of periodontal diseases, 2.95 in awareness of the prevention and treatment of peridontal diseases, and 3.04 in belief in periodontal diseases and attitude. Thus, they had a good understanding and knowledge of periodontal diseases, and they had the right belief and the right attitude as well. They scored relatively lower in several items of periodontal diseases: awareness of tooth loss caused by aging, awareness of the relationship of food to the prevention and occurrence of periodontal diseases, the relationship between toothbrushing time and gingival health, the right toothbrushing method and the right way of dental care.

The Importance of Serious Game Research for Language Rehabilitation of Hearing-Impaired Individuals - Based on Domestic Academic Studies

본 연구는 청각장애인의 언어재활을 위한 기능성 게임 연구의 필요성을 국내 학술 연구를 분석함으로써 조명한다. 연구 결과, 다른 주제에 비해 청각장애인을 위한 기능성 게임 개발에 대한 관심과 연구 활동이 낮은 수준임을 보여주며, 이를 균형있게 다루기 위한 필요성을 제시한다. 이를 위해 본 논문은 청각장애인을 대상으로 인공지능 기반 기능성 게임 모델을 제안한다. 이 연구를 통해 청각장애인을 위한 기능성 게임 연구 및 교육에 필요한 기술적 연구를 진행하는 데 주목해야 함을 시사한다. This study proposes the necessity of research on serious game development for language rehabilitation of hearing-impaired individuals by analyzing domestic academic research. The findings demonstrate that there is a lower level of interest and research activity in developing serious games for the hearing-impaired compared to other topics. It highlights the need for a balanced approach to address this issue. In this regard, this paper proposes an artificial intelligence-based serious game model for hearing-impaired individuals. Through this research, it emphasizes the importance of conducting technical research and education for the production of serious game content for the hearing-impaired.
