In this thesis, As electric railway vehicle"s speed becomes faster and faster and functional, the conditions of operation (or running condition) of the vehicle also become complicated and diverse. As the number of electric vehicle increases by enhancement of the running condition, problems are also raised in circulation current, vibration and unstable contact caused by equipment(sporting part for making horizontal between Trolley wire and Messenger wire) and troubles in Ark by unsecure contact. This articles shows a method to prevent or to have least problem of vibration, and unstable contact by having constant height of Trolley wire through adjusting the length of Hanger.
서울메트로 접지시스템의 경년변화에 따른 통일화 방안 연구

Since Seoulmetro built the first line of electric railway at seoul 1974, the passengers of railway have been increased rapidly, and electric railway requires more electric power for the greater capacity of transport. It is important that we prevent the accidents related with the subway, because all systems of subway are constructed in artificial underground structure. Therefore the importance of earth system, which stabilizes the operation of electric facility, prevents accidents, and protects lives grew larger. Since the previous versions of earth system were built to meet the old standards of electric facility for the lightning, some accidents related with the DC earth fault are causing secondary damages to the electric equipments. So, the old earth system must be improved, and new standards of earth system are required. We compare the grounding systems of the domestic railway corporations and the accidents that are related with the grounding systems. And we give ideas to improve the grounding systems and present standards which are suitable to electric railway.

Since the opening of the Seoul Metro in 1974, the electric railway passengers have been increased rapidly and as the advanced equipments(OC,PSD) were introduced, additional power facilities were built in a limited area for the comfortable transportation environment. Present grounding system were built according to old Electric equipment standards and all the electric signal, communication and electronic equipments were built only for the purposes of protecting building structure, people and electronic equipments. Grounding system which was additionally built in the limited area caused problems with the building structure and it caused secondary damages when earth fault happens. One of the problems is grounding system of the building structure; grounding system does not work properly since grounding equipments are not separated from each other. So, existing grounding system needs to be improved and unified grounding system in the building should be established. The purposed of this study is to analyze all the grounding systems that had been built in different year and to establish unified grounding system of Seoul Metro.

In this thesis, it is investigated that the effect of the cross linked polyethylene(XLPE) insulator do tn breakdown phenomenon by the insertion of the needle and bar electrode into XLPE which is used of electric power cable for the ultra-high voltage. The result of the partial discharge properties in the specimen showed that in case of the insertion of needle or bar electrode into XLPE, the effect of the inner discharge become large when the air void is bigger then the clearance of the electrode of the specimen. The closer the distance between the insulation and needle electrode, it takes less time to the insulation breakdown.

After 1th line was built in 1974, the history of subway in Korea has been expended to 9th line which is under construction. It is time to prepare nation wide subway grounding system urgently according to the domestic electric standard that aligns to world wide standard by WTO/TBT treat (1995). Newly added grounding system to the fundamentally different system caused many problems. PSD(platform screen door) and other newly added equipment are also need grounding system. By the electrical code(established by Korea Electric Association), low voltage equipment(including grounding system) under 1,000V AC are in the process of change into IEC 60374. IEC 60364 standard will be added to the electrical code(established by Korea Electric Association) in 2007 and amended and after 3-5 years later, it will become a complete IEC 60364. So the purpose of this study is to compare the domestic rail road grounding system and suggest the standardized grounding system for the newly built subway.

서울메트로는 1974년 1호선 개통을 시작으로 1985년 3,4호선 2010년 3호선 연장선(수서~오금역)이 추가 개통되었다. 또한 쾌적한 수송환경을 위하여 역사환경개선, 스크린 도어 등 많은 설비들이 지속적으로 증설되었다. 타 도시철도에 비해 개통 당시의 구 설비보다 추가 증설된 신 설비가 공존되고 있는 실정이다. 이로 인해 발생된 누설전류는 경로를 알 수 없을 정도로 복잡하게 구성되어 흐르고 있으며, 열차 운행시에 발생되는 누설전류는 지하철 외부 매설배관뿐 아니라 내부 궤도시설물에 대하여 전식을 일으키는 원인이 되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 서울메트로 누설전류에 의한 궤도시설물의 전식 경향에 대하여 기술하고 예방대책에 대하여 논의하고자 한다. Since 1974, Seoulmetro opened its first line, line 1 opened line 3 was extended from suseo to ogeum in 2010. For making comfortable subway environment, cooling system and screen door(PSD) were installed ever since Seoulmetro began to operate its first line, many new facilities were added and now Seoulmetro has both old and new facilities. Due to many mixed new and old facilities, leakage current has very complicated paths. The leakage current from the operation of the train causes the electrical corrosion of buried pipes and rail tracks. This study discusses about the characteristics and trends of the electrical corrosion on rail tracks and preventive methods.
