The object of this study is to investigate behaviors of beach fill replenished at three coasts of different configurations by analyzing successively measured beach profiles.<br/> The main results obtained in this study are summarized as follows;<br/> 1) The amount of nourishing sand moved in the longshore direction surpasses the amount of nourishing sand transported in the cross-shore direction regardless of shapes of the coasts and types of the structures.<br/> 2) A clear correlation between displacements of shoreline and changes of sectional areas can be found soon after the placement of beach fill in the fields. This implies that the deformation of the artificial nourishment and dissipation or remaining rate of nourishing sand can be predicated by the one-line theory.<br/> 3) The patterns of sediment movements in the artificially nourished beaches are clearly found by the analysis of empirical eignfunctions.
무궁화 위성방송 수신용 고이득 마이크로스트립 배열안테나의 설계

In this paper, a microstrip array antenna for receiving KOREASAT broadcasting is designed, which has left-handed circularly polarization property with the gain of 29dB at 11.84GHz. An antenna using a single feed point is chosen as an array element because of its simplicity and low feeding loss. The 2 X 2 array is a basic array element to achieve the overall 16 X 16 array antenna. All the elements of the array are fed in phase using the parallel feed method for broadside beam radiation. The actual dimension of array is about 30 X 30cm. The measured return loss and VSWR is in a good agreement with the calculations. The measured results are as follows ; SLL of -15dB below, gain of 27dB, directivity of 31.9dBi, and axial ratio of 0.74dB at 11.84GHz.

The object of this study is to figure out charactristics on the deformation Haeundae beach through a statistical analysis by using leveling and water depth surveys which were carried out seven times. The result of the analysis is shows that a depositional summer-type-beach is built up from spring to summer and a erosional winter-type-beach up from fall to winter. From the analysis it can be concluded that the erosion is affected by moving drift sands along on-offshore direction and the deposition is affected by those along the longshore direction. Therefore, the most suitable protection method in Haeundae beach would be Zetty, Head-land or a composition structure incorporating detached breakwater method which is the suitable method for the protection of erosion along the longshore direction.
SR 급전법을 이용한 무궁화 위성방송 수신 안테나 설계

We design the array antenna using the sequential rotation feeding method to obtain the broad bandwidth and high efficiency. The 2×2 array is a basic array element to achieve the overall 16×16 array. All the elements of the array are fed in phase using the parallel feed method for broadside beam radiation. The actual dimension of array is about 30×30㎝. The measured return loss and VSWR is in a good agreement with the calculations. The measured results are as follows ; SLL of -15㏈ below, gain of 17∼20㏈, directivity of 24∼26㏈i, and axial ratio of 3.17㏈ at 11.84㎓.

In this paper, we study on the microstrip antenna element showing the circularly polarized properties required for receiving the satellite broadcasting. We design a single-fed microstrip antenna, which radiates a circularly polarized wave without using an external polarizer. We can minimize the radiation loss in the feeding network of the microstrip antenna by the single-fed method and generate a left-handed circularly polarized wave by using a corner-truncated square microstrip patch. This antenna operates at the frequency of 11.74∼11.94㎓ and has the axial ratio of 0.24㏈ and the bandwidth of 720㎒. Therefore, this antenna can be used as a basic radiating element of large array antenna for receiving the satellite broadcasting.
