<P><B>Background</B></P><P>The aim of this study is to narrow the gap between global guidelines and local practices, we recently established domestic recommendations by adapting the international guidelines for management of chronic kidney disease-mineral bone disorder (CKD-MBD) in patients on maintenance hemodialysis (MHD). This study was undertaken to determine whether application of this guideline adaptation was associated with improved serum mineral profiles in patients with CKD-MBD.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>A total of 355 patients on MHD were enrolled from seven dialysis units. After adhering to our strategy for one year, serum phosphorus, calcium, intact parathyroid hormone (iPTH), and alkaline phosphatase (AP) levels were compared with the baseline. The endpoint was improvement in the proportion of patients with serum mineral levels at target recommendations.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>The median serum phosphorus level and proportion of patients with serum phosphorus within the target range were not changed. Although the median serum calcium level was significantly increased, the proportion of patients with serum calcium within the target range was not significantly affected. The proportion of patients with serum iPTH at the target level was not altered, although the median serum iPTH was significantly decreased. However, both median serum AP and the proportion of patients with serum AP at the target level (70.4% vs. 89.6%, <I>P</I> < 0.001) were improved.</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>In our patients with MHD, serum mineral profiles were altered and the serum AP level stabilized after implementing our recommendations. Long-term follow-up evaluations are necessary to determine whether uremic bone disease and cardiovascular calcifications are affected by these recommendations.</P>

본 논문에서는 75톤급 액체로켓엔진 1/2.5-scale 연소기의 연소시험에서 얻어진 동적특성 결과에 대해 기술하였다. 엔진 시동 구간 및 연소실 압력에 따른 동적특성 변화를 살펴보기 위해 연소실 압력 30 bar와 60 bar 상태에서 연소시험이 수행되었으며 이에 따른 연소기의 연소안정성을 검토하였다. In the paper, the dynamic characteristics obtained from hot-firing tests of 1/2.5-scale thrust chamber for 75 tonf-class liquid rocket engine were described. To investigate the dynamic characteristics by engine start transient period and chamber pressure variation, hot-firing tests were performed in the chamber pressures of 30 bar and 60 bar. According to these variations, combustion stability in the combustion chamber was examined.

추력 75톤급 액체로켓엔진용 기술개발/검증 시제인 가스발생기의 연소시험이 수행되었다. 가스발생기 분사기 및 헤드의 성능을 먼저 확인하기 위해 heat-sink 형태의 연소실이 사용되었다. 본 논문에서는 연소시험을 위한 준비상황 및 기술검증시제 연소시험에서 얻어진 압력, 온도 분포, 압력 섭동 등의 결과들을 설명하였다. Hot-firing tests were performed on the gas generator which is a technology development/demonstration model for a 75 ton-class liquid rocket engine. A heat-sink type combustion chamber was used for initial performance examination of the injector and mixing head. This paper explains not only preparation works for hot-firing tests but also the acquired results such as pressure, temperature distribution, and pressure fluctuation.

30톤급 액체로켓엔진 가스발생기의 연소 특성에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 개발 초기 가스발생기는 터빈 매니폴드 출구를 모사하는 노즐을 후단에 장착한 상태에서 연소시험을 진행하였다. 이후 가스발생기와 터빈부의 공진모드를 모사하는 연장배관을 가스발생기와 노즐 사이에 추가하여 시험이 이루어졌으며, 최종적으로 터보펌프의 터빈부를 연결한 상태에서 연소시험을 수행하였다. 본 논문에서는 이와 관련된 온도 분포, 압력섭동 결과들을 분석하였다. Combustion characteristics of a gas generator for a 30 ton-class liquid rocket engine were studied. At the early stage of development, the combustion tests of the gas generator were performed by only using the nozzle which substitute for a turbine manifold exit. Then, the extension tube was applied between the gas generator and the nozzle for imitating the resonant mode of gas generator and turbine manifold. Finally, the hot-firing tests were performed on the condition of connecting the gas generator with the turbine manifold. In the paper, the step-by-step results such as temperature distribution and pressure fluctuations were analyzed.
냉각채널의 각도와 직경 변화에 따른 채널 내 압력 손실에 관한 수치적 연구

냉각채널에서의 압력 손실을 수치적으로 연구하기 위하여 채널의 축 방향에 대한 각도, 채널 내부의 유체의 유속, 채널의 직경을 변화시키며 수치해석을 진행하였다. 채널의 축 방향에 대한 각도 변화에 따라서 압력 손실은 큰 변화가 없었다. 하지만 채널의 직경이 커지면 압력손실이 감소하고, 유체의 유속이 느려지면 압력손실이 감소하는 경향이 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 무차원화 하여 정량화하였고, 기존 채널내부의 압력손실에 대한 이론식과 비교하여 기존 이론식의 타당성을 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 획득한 정보는 향후 냉각채널을 설계 할 때 압력손실을 고려함에 있어 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. To study the pressure loss in a cooling channel, numerical analysis was performed with different angle of channel to an axial-direction, the velocity of flow and the diameter of channels. The pressure loss hasn"t been changed a lot about different angle of channel. But if the diameter of channel increased and the velocity of flow decreased, the pressure loss tended to decrease. The results were quantified by non-dimensional method and compared with existing theory equation to validate it. Acquired data in this study would be helpful on the design of cooling channel considering pressure loss.
