Fractures out of osteoporosis increase after menopause and the frequency of incidence is getting higher. It is reported that one of two patients with osteoporosis over 65 had fractures. For the purpose of study, 17 women patients with osteoporosis after menopause in P city in Germany were selected as the experimental group and 20 normal women in the same age were selected as the comparison group. The purpose of the study was to prevent the fractures of osteoporosis patients because of the hurt from a fall and to analyze the body balance and fitness for performance comparatively. The followings are the results. 1) There was significant difference in the results of the round walking test and the lower limb power test between two groups (p<.001). 2) There was significant difference in standing on the left foot with eyes opened(p<.05) and standing on the right foot with eyes opened(p<.01). As above, in the comparison of the fitness for performance between normal people and the patients with osteoporosis there was difference in round walking and lower limb power. It shows that walking is very important to the patients with osteoporosis. As the patients with osteoporosis showed unsettledness in body balance when they try one leg standing, it is more likely that they may have hurt from the fall. Therefore they need to make more efforts to enhance the body balance.
