        화학처리와 한외여과막의 결합공정에 의한 Cs 및 Co의 제거특성 (II)

        The objective of this investigation is to establish the rejection characteristics of caesium and cobalt from radioactive liquid waste by chemical/ultrafiltration process. An extensive experimental investigation was conducted with inactive caesium and cobalt ions, utilizing ultrafiltration stirred cell. Caesium and cobalt could be effectively removed from waste solution using copper ferrocyanide and polyarcylic acid(PAA). The rejection dependence of the caesium was found to be a function of caesiun to potassium copper ferrocyanide feed molar ratio. The binding behavior of caesium on K$_2$Cu$_3$(Fe(CN)$\sub$6/)$_2$, particles was explained in terms of a Langmuir adsorption isotherm. When Cs/K$_2$Cu$_3$(Fe(CN)$\sub$6/)$_2$molar ratio was 1.5, the removal of caesium was the most efficient. The rejection efficiency of cobalt is dependent upon various parameters such as pH, cobalt concentration and PAA concentration. The rejection behavior of cobalt was explained in term of a equilibrium model taking into account the reaction between the ligand group, the proton and the cobalt ion. At the conditions of PAA/Co ratio of 2 and pH of 5.6, the removal of cobalt was over 90%. Also, the effect of chemical addition sequence for the simultaneously removal of caesiun and cobalt was discussed.

        J. Lock(1632~1704)는 그의 「정부론」(Two Treatises of Civil Government, 1690)제1부에서 Filmer의 「부권군주론」(1680)의 국왕신구너설에 대한 반론으로서, 또 제2부는 자연법 사상을 근저로 한 시민사회의 원리적 기초를 확립코저 하였다. 한편, Lock는 역시 그의 주서 「인간오성론」(An Essay concerning Human Understanding, 1690)을 통하여 인식의 기원을 감각과 급성(Senstion & reflection)에다 구하고 우리의 인식은 경험(Experience)에서 비롯한다고 주장한다. 그런데 「정부론」이 자연법 사상이라는 전통적인 합리주의적 사상체계에 바탕을 두고 있는가 하면 한편, 「인간오성론」은 경험주의적 인식체계로서 구성된것이라 말할 수 있겟는데 이렇게 본다고 할 때에 이들 양자간에는 상반된 사상적 기반이 가로 놓여 있는 것이라 하겠다. 따라서 「정부론」과 「인간오성론」은 각기 독립된 별개의 부문으로서 간주되어 지기도 하였다. 이와 같이 Lock의 방법론적인 일관성이 결여됨에 따라 「Lock가 생득관념은 부정하였으나 자연법은 긍정하고 있는 것이다」라고 흔히 지적되어 온 것도 사실이다.

        The aim of this paper is to find out proper answers to the questions of 'What a value generally is ?" and "How can a vague be constituted ?" by examining Dewey's theory of value. For this purpose discussions in this paper win be proceeded as follows. Firstly, in chapter 2 the relationship between value-judgment and truth-judgment would be examined. Dewey maintains that determination of truth and falsity depends upon value-judgment. Since truth is, for Dewey, a warrented or verified result obtained throughout the inquiry, in this chapter the relationship of inquiry with value-judgment would also be discussed. According to Dewey, an inquiry is a process in which a series of value judgment is proceeded. In chapter 3 we win be concerned with the role of truth in the formation of value. Here it would be known that being an instrument of inquiry, in Dewey's theory of value, truth can be applied to value formation process just as it could be applied to truth formation process. In chapter 4, not only the dichotomy of theory auld practice, but also the dichotomy of theoretical thinking and practical thinking would be examined. That Dewey did loot make distinction between theory and practice could be known, In chapter 5, principles, criteria and laws of inquiry and evaluation would be discussed, and in chapter 6 problem of how intellectual or scientific method could be applied to value formation would be examined. Viewing Dewey's value theory as based on his experimentalism or instrumentalism, the principle and method of his experimentalism or instrumentalism would be explanined. From the above discussions, we could be arrived at the following upshots. Dewey wanted to extend to moral and social problems the methods of investigation which had been eminently successful in the natural science. In order to effect this extension, he presented two thesis. One of these is that moral judgments are about empirical matters of fact. The other is that moral judgments can be experimentally confirmed. In order to defend the thesis that moral judgments are matter of fact, Dewey had to first maintain that values are objective occurrences in nature. It is known that in Dewey what is valuable is what is desirable from the viewpoint of science, moral, arts and religion which are means of production of the values. Ultimate values are not the absolute or transcendental values, It could be obtained at the last point in the series of inquiry. For defending the second thesis, Dewey asserts that 'intellectual method' consists of continuous reconstruction, continuous inquiry and problem solving and is also the method of accomplishing the ultimate value. Dewey's value theory is, I think, based on general method of truth formation. Dewey believed that just the method which is used to make truth-formation, it can he applied and extended to value-formation. Dewey tried, we can think, to make a harmony between natural sciences and moral subjects by applying the game method to both subjects. Thus vague is, in Dewey's thought, net a transcendental thing, but a natural thing which is gained by human experience. Value can be established just by inquiry which amounts to an operational, experimental, intellectural, and scientific way of thinking. This is the basic character of experimentalism or instrumentalism of Dewey, and it is one mode of his naturalism which goes through his whole philosophy. Dewey's view of value could be contributed to point out difficulties of transcendental non-naturalistic view of value. Futhermore, by its nature of promoting teleological progress of nature, Dewey's theory of vague could be characterized as a empirical metaphysics of nature.

      • TB-LMTO-recursion 방법에 의한 spiral-bcc Fe의 전자구조와 자기모멘트의 계산

        TB(tight-binding)-LMTO(linear muffin-tin-orbital)-recursion 방법을 이용하여, spiral bcc Fe의 전자구조와 자기모멘트를 계산하였다. LMTO basis계산은 atomic sphere approximation(ASA)을 사용하여 구하고, LMTO basis의 구조상수를 Anderson등의 격자 가림 상수를 이용하여 direct inversion 방법으로 국소화된 구조 상수로 바꿀 수 있었다. TB-LMTO basis의 Hamiltonian들을 이용하여 recursion 방법에 의하여 local density of states(LDOS)를 계산 하였다. 제 일 원리 LMTO계산의 결과와 비교하면 본 계산에서 구한 bcc Fe 의 magnetic moment는 2.203(μв)로 제 일 원리 LMTO의 2.22(μв)와 일치하는 결과를 얻었다. The electronic structures and magnetic monents of spiral bcc Fe are calculated using by TB(tight-binding)-LMTO(linear muffin-tin-orbital) -recursion method. LMTO basises are obtained by using atomic sphere approximation(ASA). LMTO basis coefficient can be changed to localized basis coefficint by direct inversion method. LDOS(local density of states) are obtained by using recursion method and the hamilonian by TB-LMTO basises. The magnetic moment calculted by this method is 2.203μв.This value is agreed to the value calculted by the first frinciple LMTO method.

      • 고령에서 발생한 불안정성 대퇴골 전자부 골절의 인공 관절 반치환술을 이용한 치료 : 단기 추시 결과

        Objectives: The aim of this study is to evaluate the short-term results and complications of treating the intertrochanteric fracture with bipolar hemiarthroplasty (BHA) in elderly population. Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 31 unstable intertrochanteric fracture patients who were treated with BHA between January 2007 and August 2009 in older populations more than 65 years old. The 6 males and 25 females had a mean age of 79.8 years (range: 66-88) and a mean follow-up of 36.3 months (range: 24-55). We analyzed the radiological outcomes, functional recovery grade, using Jensen’s social function score and Harris hip score (HHS), and complications. Results: The average operation time and blood loss was 148.9 min (range, 110-215 min) and 455.2 mL (range, 200-1200 mL). Mean preoperative and postoperative hemoglobin (Hb) was 10.9 g/dL (range, 8.6-13.4 g/dL) and 10.5 g/dL (range, 5.1-14.1 g/dL) respectively. Average 1.3 pints of blood transfusion was performed. Ambulation with (or without) crutch was possible at mean 6.8 days postoperatively. The stability and alignment indices were adequate in all cases at final follow-up. On clinical results, the average HHS score, was changed from 79.7 points (range, 44-100) preoperatively to 73.0 points (range, 46-92) postoperatively, and the preoperative and postoperative Jensen’s score was 1.8 (range, 1-3) and 2.1 (range, 1-4) respectively. Conclusions: The BHA is an acceptable alternative for unstable intertrochanteric fractures in older population.

        동아시아사 교과서 서술 내용에 관한 제언 - 동아시아의 문자 ‘한자’를 중심으로 -

        Chinese characters, Buddhism, Confucianism, and law codes are always mentioned as the common elements of East Asian culture. But in the East Asian History textbook for high-school students, there is no chapter on Chinese characters despite the fact that Chinese characters deeply influenced the cultures and writing systems in the East Asian countries of Korea, Japan, and Vietnam. Chinese characters spread with Buddhism, Confucianism, and law codes. And they were a vehicle of these cultural elements and the main vehicle for reading and writing in East Asian countries before modern times. Each of these three countries produceda unique writing system using Chinese characters, such as idu (吏讀) in Korea, kana (假名) in Japan,and chunom in Vietnam. Chinese characters have three aspects, form,sound, and meaning. Japan made simple syllabicscripts using the form. But Vietnam made very difficult characters using the form, the sound,and the meaning of Chinese characters. But these characters were common in using the Chinese characters. By some measures, Hunminjungeum (訓民正音) was devised as a phonetic alphabet for Chinese characters. It was very difficult for common people to learn Hunminjungeum easilybecauseHunminjungeum was written in Chinese and was described with phonological theory that was almost useless for ordinary life and that was above their comprehension. That Hunminjungeum was a subject for state examinations also shows that it was for the educated person. The background for devising Hunminjungeum was the foreign policy and the language policy of Joseon. Words translated from European languages are still used extensively today, and these words shaped commonalities of culture and language among Asian countries. In particular, words translated in Japan during the Meiji period, such as “philosophy” (哲學), “religion” (宗敎), “society”(社會), “individual” (個人), and others, flowed into Korea.
