택코트 사용 종류에 따른 Petromat의 부착전단 강도

The failure in domestic asphalt pavement is accelerated due to the recent increasement in traffic volume and magnitude. However, timely preventive maintenance can slow down the rate of pavement deteriorations. Petromat functions have been widely shown to extend the life of asphalt concrete overlays and chip seal surface treatments. Based of this background in mind, a study on bond shear strength of Petromat was conducted using slant shear test. According to the test results, the bond shear strengths of normal asphalt clement(AP-3) were generally higher than those of RSC-4 and QRS-4. However, some bond shear strengths of QRS-4 showed similar values as those of AP-3. For example, the bond shear strengths of QRS-4 presented more than 90% of those of AP-3 under the testing conditions of 1 and 2 hours of curing times and 30℃ of construction temperature, respectively.
